Disable Master Patient Index (MPI) - PM

Disable the Master Patient Index for the active system code.

  • This form is only available for applications with MPI enabled.

  1. Click the Display Current MPI Status for All Root System Codes button to open the MPI status window. This window displays the MPI status for all system codes to which the user has access.

  2. Click the Disable MPI button to disable the Master Patient Index for the currently active system code.
    Once the MPI is disabled, it can only be reactivated by a Netsmart representative.

  1. The user will be prompted to confirm this action. Click Yes to disable the Master Patient Index.
