Configure HIE Exceptions and Favorites

Within CareConnect HIE configuration, navigate to Organization: Exceptions and Favorites. Within the Organization search, enter the name of the organization you are looking to add. (Note: For name search you must enter at least three characters.) The search will bring up a list of organizations fitting the criteria. 
The organization selected will then populate the table of organizations. In the far right, a status column that will determine whether an organization in the network is to be considered an exception, favorite, or both. 

Exception: When an external organization queries for a myAvatar CCD, consent will not be checked for this organization. Thus, if a CCD is available for this organization it will always be returned. 

Favorite: These organizations will be included in the Pre-Fetch Service that takes place each night. They will also be the organizations queried for ad-hoc queries within the External Documents Console. 

Both: An organization will be marked as both an Exception and a Favorite.
