Order Entry Practitioner Assignment
Assign practitioners to an Order Entry user, allowing the user to work with the practitioner's orders.

- The practitioner assignment is optional.
- A user can work with a practitioner's orders if the user is associated with the practitioner In the RADplus User Definition, User Role Definition, or Order Entry Practitioner Assignment forms.
- If a user does not have assigned practitioners, any practitioner can be selected as an ordering practitioner in Order Entry. If a user has assigned practitioners, only an assigned practitioner can be selected as an ordering practitioner in Order Entry.
- Use the All Users Assigned Practitioners Report to view practitioner assignments for all Order Entry users.
Prerequisites:
- The user must be an active myAvatar Order Entry user (Order Entry User Definition form).
- In the Select User ID/User Description screen, enter the user ID or description and select. Click Select.
- In the Order Entry User section, click 'Display User Practitioner Assignments' to view a list of practitioners assigned to the user.
- In the Order Entry Practitioner Assignment section, click Add New Item in the Assigned Practitioners table.
- For the Practitioner field, enter the practitioner name, staff ID, or unique practitioner ID and select.
- For the Active Assignment field, select Yes to make the practitioner assignment active.
- Click Submit.
