Enable Observation Copy Forward
  • CWS > Observations > Enable Observation Copy Forward Action

    • 'Y' enables the Default Previous action within the 'Observation Entry' form for Observer NX.
    • 'N' disables the Default Previous action within the 'Observation Entry' form for Observer NX.

Time Zone Offset
  • Define the time zone offset for a facility in hours as a positive or negative integer.

    • 0 = Eastern Time
    • -1 = Central Time
    • -2 = Mountain Time
    • -3 = Pacific Time

Example:  A value of "-3" will reset the time to the current server time minus three hours.

Observe Daylight Savings Time
  • RADplus > General > Facility

    • 'Y' is selected if the facility observes daylight savings time.
    • 'Y' is the default.
    • 'N' is selected if daylight savings time is not observed.
    • When not observed, the Time Zone Offset registry setting will be moved back an hour when daylight savings time takes effect, and moved forward an hour when it ends so that the actual time does not change at those times.

PLEASE NOTE: The Time Zone Offset setting should be updated to produce the correct system time before this setting is changed.

Utilize Local Workstation Time Zone
  • RADplus > General > Facility > Utilize Local Workstation Time Zone

    • 'Y' sets the facility to use the time zone set on the local workstation
    • 'N' sets the facility to use the time zone set on the server
Enable Military Time
  • RADplus > General > Enable Military Time

    • A full review of the currently utilized system workflows is required prior to enabling this setting in production environments.
    • Currently military time functionality is limited to a subset of myAvatar workflows, and certain areas of the system have not yet been updated to support this setting.
    • Observer NX, Task List NX, and eMAR NX support military time functionality.
    • 'Y' registry setting value displays time values in military time format in areas of the system that have been updated to display military time.
    • 'N' registry setting value displays time values in standard AM/PM time format.
    • No value entered for the registry setting value displays time values in standard AM/PM time format.
    • No value is the default.
    • Note: This is a hidden registry setting.
