Procedure Code Group Definition

Define groups of procedure codes.

• Procedure code groups can selected in the Plan Definition form (Plan Coverage Definition section).

1. In the Action field, select Add to create a new group.

2. In the Procedure Code Group ID field, enter the ID.

3. In the Procedure Code Group Description field, enter the description.

4. Click Display Procedure Code Group Definitions to display a report that details procedure code group information.

5. In the Inactive field:

• Select Yes to make the code group inactive.

• Select No if the code group is active.

6. In the Procedure Code Type field, select the type of code.

7. In the Procedure Code field, select the code.

8. Click Add Item. The code is added to the code group, and displays in the List Of Procedure Code Group Items field.

9. If appropriate, click Remove Item to delete one or more codes from the code group.

10. Click Submit.
