User Role Definition for document management

From the User Role Definition form, you can manage document management permissions for user roles.

Prerequisites:

  • User roles must be granted Document Management functionality in the User Role Definition form for users associated with those user roles to have Document Management access.


  1. Go to:  Avatar PM > RADplus Utilities > System Security
  2. Click the Document Management section.
  3. In the Is this user a Document Management Administrator field:
    • Select Yes to give the user full document management rights.
    • Select No to deny the user document management rights.
    • or
    • Select No to choose specific items to give the user document management access.
  4. In the Forms Allowed fields - select the actions a user can perform on an item.
    • Forms Allowed to Scan - Displays when document scanning is enabled.
    • EMR Only - User can view forms without ’r;Exclude from Electronic Medical Record’ selected (Document Management Definition form).
    • EMR and Specify - User can view forms without ’r;Exclude from EMR’ selected (Document Management Definition form).
  5. In the View Voided Documents field, select whether the user can view documents that have been voided.
  6. Click Submit.
