Staff Document Capture - Perceptive

The Staff Document Capture form is the myAvatar form used for importing and scanning in staff-related document into the system.

Prerequisites:

Prerequisites: You must have the following items configured to utilize staff document capture.

  • ImageNow must be installed and configured on the end-user’s local machine.
  • You must have access to Staff Document Capture form in the User Definition or User Role Definition.
  • You must have the ability to scan under the Document Management section of User Definition or User Role Definition forms.

Import a Document Using Staff Document Capture

  1. Navigate to the Staff Document Capture form.
  2. In the Staff ID field, search for the appropriate staff member by Staff ID # or last name.
  3. Click Launch POS Capture.


 

  1. When the message displays, “How would you like to capture documents?” click Import

  1. Click Capture in the top portion of the Staff Document Capture screen.

 

  1. In the Select Files window, click Browse.

 

  1. Navigate to the document that you want to import and double-click the document.

   

  1. In the Select Files window, click Done.  

System result: The image displays in the Document Capture screen.
 

  1. Select the correct document type from the Document Type drop-down list, located on the right side of the Document Capture window.

     

  2. Click Save in the top portion of the screen.

System result: After submission, the system returns you to the beginning of the Staff Document Capture screen. 


 

  1. Repeat this process for other staff members.

Scan a Document into myAvatar Using Staff Document Capture

  1. Navigate to the Staff Document Capture form.
  2. In the Staff ID field, search for the appropriate staff member by Staff ID # or last name.
  3. Click Launch POS Capture.

  4. When the message displays, “How would you like to capture document?” click Scan.

  1. Select the scan button in the middle of the Staff Document Capture screen.


     
  2. If a document is in the scanner, the scanner will scan the image when you select the Scan Image button in the middle of the screen.
  3. Click Save in the top portion of the Staff Document Capture screen.

System result: After submission, the system returns you to the beginning of the Staff Document Capture screen.


 

  1. Repeat this process for other staff members.
