Client POS Scan - Perceptive

Importing documents from the "Client POS Scan" form in myAvatar

Purpose: This is the MyAvatar form used for import and scanning in Client-related document into the system.

Prerequisites:

  • ImageNow needs to be setup and configured on the end users local machine
  • Access to "Client POS Scan" form in User Definition/User Role Definition
  • Ability to Scan under the Document Management section of User Definition/User Role

How do I launch ImageNow from the "Client POS Scan" form?

  • Navigate to the Client POS Scan form.
  • In the Client ID field, search for the appropriate client by their client ID number or their last name.
  • In the Episode Number field, click on the drop down menu and select the appropriate episode.
    • If you would like to scan in a non-episodic document, leave this field blank.
  • Launch ImageNow by clickin on the "Launch POS Scan" command launch button.

How do I import a document into myAvatar from ImageNow?

  • The ImageNow software will launch and open a file explorer window.
  • Navigate to the document that you wish to import and select a document to import by double-clicking on it.

  • The document/image will appear in the Import Multiple Documents folder. A user will not be able to capture/submit the image until it is removed from this folder.

  • Drag and drop the document/image into the folder to link it a specific Document Type the document/image represents.
    • In this example, the Intake Form is linked to Admission Documents within the Hospitals Group.
  • When ready, click the Green Submit button.
    • This button may be located at the bottom of your screen.

  • After submission, ImageNow will automatically close and you will return to the Client POS Scan form.
    • You can repeat this process for other clients and other episodes.
