Adding Document Management to the Avatar Menu

The Document Imaging and Archiving module must be added to the myAvatar CWS menu.

Avatar Document Imaging and Archiving includes the Document Management module in myAvatar CWS. This module needs to be added to the menu in CWS in order to view it.

To add Document Management to the myAvatar CWS menu you need to install the CWS patch and the POS patch. See Pre-Installation Checklists. The CWS patch does not require a license, however, the POS patch does require a license.

The following forms are added to the menu under Document Management after the patches are installed:

  • Document Management Definition
  • Clinical Document Viewer
  • Delete Document
  • Document Archiving
  • POS Scan
  • Document Management Defaults
