System Maintenance - Service Panel - Cal-PM
Create a list of services that are linked together by either a service code, or a title (the Panel Description).

- A panel description is a container that can hold service codes. Panel descriptions are not service codes.
- The Service Panel Charge Input form is used to post 'panel descriptions' (and their associated service codes) to the client ledger.
- The client charge input, and appointment scheduling forms are used to post service codes.
- Services can be imported through the Service Code Upload Process form.
- Parent service codes should be defined in the Service Codes form, before they are used in this form.

In the Add New or Edit Existing Service Panel field:
- Select Add to add a new service panel.
- Select Edit to edit an existing service panel. Click Select Service Panel. The Select Service Panel dialog displays. Choose the service panel, click OK.

In the 'Is This For A Panel Description Or Service Code' field:
- Select Panel Description to create a title for the service panel.
- Select Service Code to create a parent service code.
This selection cannot be changed once this form is submitted.

In the Effective Date field, enter the first date that the service panel is available.

In the End Date field, enter the last date that the service panel is available.

In the Select Service Code To Add To Panel field, enter the service code, click Process Search to select. Click OK.
When adding a service code to a service panel, the service panel and service code must have the same selection in the 'Service Required By' field (Service Codes form). -
In the Automatically Default This Service Code field:
- Select Yes to have this service code populate the Panel Service(s) field, when the service panel is selected (Service Panel Charge Input form).
- Applies to panel descriptions only.

Click Add Selected Code To Panel to add the service code to the service panel.

The Service Panel field displays services in the service panel.

If appropriate, in the Select Service Code To Remove From Panel field, select a service code.

Click Remove Selected Code From Panel.

Click Display Service Panel to generate a report that displays information for the service panel. If no service panel is selected (Select Service Panel field), the report displays information for all service panels.

Click Submit.
