Referral Management Configuration - Cal-PM

The Referral Management Configuration form is where you can enter authentication information to communicate with the HIE server. You can use it to refer clients to another provider and transfer CCD information along with a referral. It is used in the Referrals/CCD Generation process for Promoting Interoperability (Meaningful Use) using a onetime setup. 

Prerequisites:

• The facility must be running RADplus Server Version 2011, and Netsmart CareConnect 1.4.

1. Go to: Avatar PM > Referral Management > Referral Management Configuration
2. In the Referral Registration Key field, enter the registration key.
3. Click Select Certificate File.
   • An Open dialog displays. Navigate to the file, and click Open.
   • The Certificate Location field displays the certificate file address.
4. Click Select Private Key File.
   • An Open dialog displays. Navigate to the file, and click Open.
   • The Private Key Location field displays the private key file address.
5. In the Private Key Password field, enter the password.
6. In the Confirm Private Key Password field, enter the password again.
7. In the Valid Attachment Types field, select the forms to add as additional documents to a referral.
8. Click Submit.
