Product Update Description

An issue is resolved in Avatar eMAR and Avatar eMAR NX where the error "[UNDEFINED]FindOrder+408^eMARAPIBarcode1 *furuteDaysLookahead" might occur when barcode scanning to select an order, and an order uses a 'Frequency Code' that is defined as 'Every Nth Day'. This error could occur once Avatar eMAR 2023 Update 6 is installed.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • eMAR
  • Orders This Episode
Scenario 1: eMAR NX - Administering an Order With an Every Nth Day Frequency
Specific Setup:
  • A frequency code must exist that is configured as an "Every Nth Day" frequency (Frequency Code A)
  • A pharmacy-type order code must exist (Order Code A)
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
  • Must have a barcode for "Order Code A".
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Order Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
  3. Populate the required fields selecting "Frequency Code A" in the 'Freq' field.
  4. Click [Sign] and override any interactions that may display.
  5. Access 'eMAR NX'.
  6. Validate "Order Code A" displays under the list of orders for "Client A".
  7. Perform a 'Client Wristband' scan if necessary.
  8. Scan the barcode for "Order Code A".
  9. Validate "Order Code A" is selected and click [Administer].
  10. Perform 'Order Acknowledgement' and 'Medications Education' if applicable.
  11. Validate all appropriate information has defaulted into the 'Administration Event' dialog.
  12. Populate any missing required fields and click [Save].
  13. Validate the cell selected contains the appropriate administration data.
