eMAR NX - Inventory Check-in
The following enhancements are introduced for the eMAR NX 'Inventory Check-in' feature: 1) The ability to add or subtract a specific quantity, rather than inputting the new on hand quantity. 2) The on hand inventory quantity will be moved automatically from the old order to the new order when a Modify is filed in the Order Entry Console (Orders This Episode section). 3) 'Administration Event' codes can be configured as to whether or not inventory should be decremented. This is accomplished via the extended attribute 'Decrement from Inventory on hand' (Data Element 10064) available for dictionary 'Administration Event' (Data Element 10000) in "eMAR Tabled Files". 4) More information is provided in the 'Comments' field for system-generated inventory changes. 5) The ability to filter out system-generated inventory changes from the 'Check-in History' grid. 6) Support for variable dose orders for 'Inventory Check-in', with administrations of any component of a variable dose order utilizing a common inventory. NOTE: These enhancements apply only to eMAR NX, and an Avatar NX Release must also be installed to utilize these enhancements.
