(NIAM) User Logins
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • External Provider - Two Factor Authentication (SMS) Login Screen
Scenario 1: Avatar Enterprise Identity (EID) Login - Two Factor Authentication validation
Specific Setup:
  • Have a system configured by Netsmart for "(NIAM) Netsmart’s Identity and Access Management" functionality
  • Have user configured with an "External Login" (EID) user name in form "User Definition" and their login set up to require "Two Factor Authentication"
  • Have an "(ODIC) Identity Provider" solution that will be used in conjunction with Avatar to authenticate the user set up as an "EID" user in Avatar. (Netsmart uses "OKTA" as the provider that will be used to launch a web browser authentication screen prior to logging into Avatar)
  • Netsmart has enabled the user's login for "Two Factor Authentication " using "SMS Authentication"
Steps
  1. At the "Avatar" login screen, select the server
  2. Click the [Login with Enterprise Credentials] button
  3. At the "External Provider Login" screen, populate the "Email" prompt with users external login ID
  4. Populate the "Password" prompt
  5. Click [Sign In]
  6. At the "SMS Authentication" screen, click [Send Code]
  7. Retrieve the code and enter it in the "Enter Code" field
  8. Click [Verify]
  9. Validate the user has logged in successfully

Find New Appointment
Scenario 1: Validate "Find New Appointment" will display available appointments
Specific Setup:
  • Staff member with assigned hours in the "Staff Members Hours and Exceptions" form.
Steps
  1. Access the "Scheduling Calendar" form.
  2. Click [Find New Appointment].
  3. Select one or more sites from the "Search Site(s)" field.
  4. Enter the current date in the "Search Start Date" field.
  5. Enter a value in the "Search Duration" field that will not extend beyond the available times for the staff on that date.
  6. Click [Find Availability]. The list of available appointment times will display.
  7. Click an item to highlight it for selection.
  8. Click [OK].
  9. Verify the "Scheduling Calendar - Appointment Details" form displays.
  10. Select any value in the "Service Code" field.
  11. Select any client in the "Client" field.
  12. Select any episode in the "Episode" field.
  13. Select any program in the 'Program' field.
  14. Click [Submit].
  15. Verify the calendar displays the appointment as entered.
