Scenario 1: Validate the use of Widget Text Templates in "Scrolling Text" fields
Specific Setup:
- Have a SQL widget created in "Widget Definition" with field "Use for Templates on Demand" set to "Y"
- For the table used in the widget, have data filed in that table for any client
- Have access to a form with a "Scrolling Text" field on the form
Steps
- Open the form
- Right-Click In the "Scrolling Text" field
- Click "Widget Templates"
- Choose the desired template
- Validate the text results are displayed as expected
- Place the cursor at the end of the text
- Repeat steps 2 and 3
- From the "Append, Insert, or Replace All? drop-down list, validate "Insert" is displayed as a default
- Click [OK] or hit enter
- Validate the text is inserted at the end of the previous text, as expected
- Repeat steps 2 and 3
- From the "Append, Insert, or Replace All? drop-down list, choose "Append"
- Click [OK] or hit enter
- Validate the text is appended directly on the line below the existing text, as expected
- Repeat steps 2 and 3
- From the "Append, Insert, or Replace All? drop-down list, choose "Replace All"
- Click [OK] or hit enter
- Validate all previous text in the field is removed and the new text is displayed, as expected

Scenario 1: eMAR - scanning another barcode when selection dialog is presented
Specific Setup:
- A client must have three active orders. Two orders for the same pharmacy-type order code where one has hours of administration (Order 1) and one does not have hours of administration (Order 2) and a single order for any other pharmacy-type order (Order 3). (Client A)
- All orders must be acknowledged and have client education performed.
- Order 1 must have an administration time that is not within the administration window for the current date.
- Must have one barcode for orders 1 and 2 and another barcode for order 3.
Steps
- Access 'Avatar eMAR'.
- Select "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
- Validate that there are two orders for "PRILOSEC 10 MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE" and one for a different pharmacy-type order.
- Scan the barcode for "PRILOSEC 10 MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE"
- Validate that the Order Selection dialog is displayed and contains both orders for "PRILOSEC 10 MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE".
- Validate that the 'Med ID' field on the main Avatar eMAR display contains the NDC of the barcode that was scanned.
- Scan the barcode for the other pharmacy-type order.
- Validate that the 'Med ID' field now contains the NDC for the other pharmacy-type order that was just scanned.
- Select the cell under the current date for the order that does not have hours of administration by double clicking in the cell in the 'Order Selection' dialog.
- Validate that the Administration dialog is displayed and contains the barcode that was scanned for "PRILOSEC 10 MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE" in the 'Med ID' field.
- Select "Nurse Administered" in the 'Administration Event' cell.
- Check the 'Accept administration information entered' checkbox.
- Click [OK].
- Validate that the cell under the current date contains the amount given and the time that it occurred.

Scenario 1: eMAR - clear out Med ID field when unchecking 'Enable multiple administration selection'
Specific Setup:
- A client must have three active orders. Two orders for the same pharmacy-type order code where one has hours of administration (Order 1) and one does not have hours of administration (Order 2) and a single order for any other pharmacy-type order (Order 3). (Client A)
- All orders must be acknowledged and have client education performed.

Steps
- Access 'Avatar eMAR'.
- Select "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
- Validate that two orders for "PRILOSEC 1O MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE" are displayed.
- Check the 'Enable Multiple Administration Selection' checkbox.
- Scan the barcode for "PRILOSEC 1O MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE".
- Validate that the 'Med ID' field contains the NDC for "PRILOSEC 10 MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE".
- Validate that an 'Invalid cell selection' message is displayed.
- Click [OK].
- Validate that the 'Med ID' field contains the NDC for "PRILOSEC 10 MG ORAL CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE".
- Uncheck the 'Enable Multiple Administration Selection' checkbox.
- Validate that no value is displayed in the 'Med ID' field.

Scenario 1: eMAR form: Client Information box includes Clinical Pathway information.
Specific Setup:
- "Clinical Pathway Definition" form is set up for one or more pathways.
- One or more test clients with orders on file in eMAR.
- One or more test clients on file with Clinical Pathway defined.
Steps
- Open eMAR for a test client with orders on file.
- Verify the "Latest Client Information" box displays the client assigned Clinical Pathways. Validate the Clinical Pathways display in the color they are defined as in the 'Clinical Pathway Definition' form.
- Verify the "Clinical Pathway" defined as "Primary" displays first.
Scenario 2: Validate the color of a client's name that is enrolled in a Clinical Pathway in the 'Scheduling Calendar', 'My Clients' widget, 'My Calendar' widget and 'Coming in Today' widget
Specific Setup:
- A pathway must be defined in the 'Clinical Pathway Definition' form (Pathway A).
- A client must be enrolled in "Pathway A". This can be done in the 'Clinical Pathway Enrollment' form (Client A).
- The 'Notification Type' of "Clinical Pathways Appointment Status" must be defined to have the "To Do" selected under 'Notification Method'. This is done in the 'Notifications Setup' form.
- "Client A" must have an appointment scheduled for the current date.
- The 'Coming in Today' widget and 'My Calendar' widget are added to the HomeView.
Steps
- Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the appointment for "Client A". Validate "Client A's" name is displayed in the color defined in the 'Clinical Pathway Definition' form".
- Click [Dismiss].
- Access the 'Coming In Today' widget.
- Validate the 'Coming in Today' widget contains the appointment for "Client A". Validate "Client A's" name is displayed in the color defined in the 'Clinical Pathway Definition' form.
- Access the 'My Calendar' widget.
- Validate the 'My Calendar' widget contains the appointment for "Client A". Validate "Client A's" name is displayed in the color defined in the 'Clinical Pathway Definition' form".
- Access the 'My Clients' widget.
- Validate the 'My Clients' widget contains "Client A's" name displayed in the color defined in the 'Clinical Pathway Definition' form.

- Open the "Batch Capture and Indexing" form.
- Click "Capture".
- Select "File" as the "Source".
- Browse to the location of the file to be imported.
- Import the file.
- Validate that the document capture opens in a window within Avatar and not as an Internet Explorer window.
- Close the batch by selecting "Send to" and sent it to the Batch Validate queue.

- Select a client, episode and set a "Document Description".
- Click "Save" to save the document to Avatar.
- Click "Refresh".
- Click "Document Capture".
- Select "Capture".
- Set "Source" to "File".
- Browse to the location of the file to be imported.
- Validate that the capture window opens in an Avatar window and not in an Internet Explorer window.
- Import in a document
- Select a client, episode and set a "Document Description".
- Click "Save" to save the document to Avatar.
- Click "Refresh".
- Locate the imported and scanned in documents.
- Select each document and click on it to view it.
- Validate that the print window opens in an Avatar window and not in an Internet Explorer window.
- Validate that the print window displays the document.
- Validate that the printed document duplicates the display.
- Click "Refresh".
- Return to document list.
- Select more than one document by check marking the Print box on that row.
- Click "Print Selected".
- Validate that the print window opens in an Avatar window and not in an Internet Explorer window.
- Validate that the print window displays the documents.
- Validate that the printed documents duplicate the display.
- Optionally, Open "Clinical Document Viewer".
- Locate the scanned document.
- View the document.
- Click "Print".

Specific Setup:
- User with existing Psychiatric Care Provider login credentials.
- User has a client with existing appointment.
- MedNote 2.0 widget must be on the HomeView.

Scenario 5: CareConnect Inbox POV Referral with CCD attached
Steps
- Open the "CareConnect Inbox POV" widget.
- Add a new Referral.
- Attach a CCD.
- Add a document to attach.
- Send the referral to the user currently signed in.
- Accept the referral and access the attached CCD.
- Click "Admit New Client".
- Admit the new client.
- Using SQL query, verify that the "Join_Document_To_Image" in the SYSTEM.ccd_tempstorage SQL table is populated
Scenario 6: POV assessment Brief Addiction Monitor transfers calculated scores to the Avatar SQL tables
Specific Setup:
- User Modeled envelope, tables, form created in CWS module
- Draft/Final field added to the User Modeled form
- User modeled form flagged as an assessment form
- User modeled form mapped to the Brief Assessment Monitor (BAM) form via CareFabric Assessment Mapping form
Steps
- In the "Generic Assessment Widget", Start the "Brief Addiction Monitor (BAM)" assessment.
- Complete the assessment by answering the questions.
- When complete, Click "Submit" to generate a summary of the assessment.
- Click "Done" to file the assessment.
- Open the User Modeled form.
- On the Pre display screen, validate that the rows have scores in the various columns.
Scenario 7: Validate Client Data Bar
Specific Setup:
- Client Information widget must be added to the HomeView of the Avatar user ID used for testing
- Test client must have the following information on file: Vitals information including Ht, Wt; Problem designated as primary on Problem List form; primary Diagnosis; Admitting and Attending Practitioner's; Client Alerts; Allergies from Allergies and Hypersensitivities; Careguidance alerts

- Open the "Admission" form.
- Validate the information in the "Client Data Bar" is accurate based on data entered on the following forms: Admission, Vitals Entry, Problem List, Diagnosis, Client Alerts, Allergies and Hypersensitivities, CareGuidance Alerts.
- Open the "Chart Review" form.
- Validate the information in the "Client Data Bar" is accurate based on data entered on the following forms: Admission, Vitals Entry, Problem List, Diagnosis, Client Alerts, Allergies and Hypersensitivities, CareGuidance Alerts.
- Navigate to the "Client Information" widget.
- Validate the information in the widget is accurate based on data entered on the following forms: Admission, Vitals Entry, Problem List, Diagnosis, Client Alerts, Allergies and Hypersensitivities, CareGuidance Alerts.
Scenario 8: Client Document Capture - Validate Drag and Drop on File Chooser
Specific Setup:

Steps
- Open the "Client Document Capture" form.
- Select the client and episode.
- Click "Launch POS Scan".
- Select "File" to import files.
- Drag a file to the "Select Files" form and drop it.
- Complete the form.
- Click "Save" to save the form as a document.
- Open the "Clinical Document Viewer" form.
- Locate the document that was just saved and validate that is displays.

- Set the "Client" field to any test client meeting the Setup requirements.
- Select any value in the "Purpose" field.
- Select any value from the "Reason for Referral" drop down list field.
- Select "Care Connect" from the "Transmit CCD Via" field.
- Select any value in the "Receiving Office" field.
- Select any staff member in the "Referring Practitioner" field.
- Click [View Referral Packet].
- Verify the CCD displays correctly.
- Click [Home] button to go to the homeview
- Click the back to the "New Referrals" form
- Click the "Attachments" section.
- Select the progress note or assessment form which was used in the Setup / Permissions from the "Valid Attachment Types" drop down list field.
- Select the episode for which the note was written from the "Episode" drop down list field.
- Select the note with the carriage returns from the "Select Record" drop down list field.
- Verify the text displays as entered in the note.
- Click [Add Attachment].
- Click [Return to Form].
- Click [Process].
- Verify "Referral sent successfully" dialog displays.
- Click [OK].
- Click [Close Form].

Specific Setup:

Steps
- The user leaves the login screen open for the set time without clicking on any fields on the login screen.
- Validate the login screen closes automatically after the set time
- The user re-launches the login screen
- The user immediately logs in

- In the "Preferences" menu on a users home view, make note of the color theme chosen on the "Themes" tab and the colors included as part of that theme. (Note: the color themes do not apply to background color on the field layout section of a form which is always gray)
Steps
- Open the modeled form for any client
- Validate that there are no fields missing on the form
- Validate the background color on the field layout sections of the form is gray, as expected
- Validate the background color of the client header section and side panel of the form, is as expected based on the theme noted in the setup steps
- Trigger the event to hide the field
- Validate the field is hidden
- Validate that all other fields are still displayed on the form

Widget Export
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: Verify 'Widget Export'
Specific Setup:
- Have widgets defined on the system
Steps
- Open the 'Widget Export' form.
- Click [Select Widgets].
- Select one or more widgets.
- Click [OK].
- Click [Export].
- Select a location to save the file.
- In the "File Name" field, keep the default name for the file, "WidgetExport.xml" or change it another name
- Click [Save].
- Validate the message "Export complete" is displayed
- Click [OK].
- Verify the widget export file containing the widget(s) exists in the saved location

Scenario 1: Validate URL Widget from a Form
Specific Setup:
- Test system must have a form with an URL widget attached.
Steps
- Log into Avatar.
- Open the form that has the URL widget attached.
- Validate that the website designated in the URL widget displays and that you can navigate it.
Scenario 2: Validate URL Widget linked to local directory
Specific Setup:
- Test system must have URL widget defined to a local link and added to the Avatar User IDs homeview

- From the HomeView, navigate to the Widget URL with a local link.
- Validate the widget displays the local directory linked to.

Review Results from the Order Entry Console - Performance

Scenario 1: Performance - Launching Results Received through the Order Entry Console
Specific Setup:
- Many orders (approximately 50) must be created for any client (Client A)
- At least one of the created orders (Order A) must have results filed
Steps
- Access the Order Entry Console for Client A.
- Click [View] under the 'Last Activity' column for Order A.
- Click the 'Results Received' link.
- Verify the 'Review Results' form opens for Order A in a timely manner.
