Microbiology - lab-type 'Order Codes'
The field 'Microbiology' is added to the 'Order Code Setup' form. The 'Microbiology' field allows lab-type 'Order Codes' to be flagged as being microbiology.
Value Added: MyAvatar and Avatar NX is enhanced to allow lab-type 'Order Codes' to be flagged as being microbiology.
Avatar eMAR - eMAR Alerts - Order Code Setup
The field 'eMAR Alerts' is added to the 'Order Code Setup' form. The 'eMAR Alerts' field allows 'Order Codes' to be configured to display custom "alerts" at the top of the Avatar eMAR 'Order Description' box for each order that uses that 'Order Code'.
Value Added: Avatar eMAR is enhanced to display 'eMAR Alerts'.

Order Entry Console - ONC certification
Avatar OE is enhanced to support the HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) data standard, relating to ONC (Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology) certification. Note: Avatar CareFabric 2022 Update 103 must also be installed to support this functionality.
Value Added: Enhances the Order Entry Console due to ONC certification requirements.

Creating orders in the Order Entry Console or 'Client Profile/Physicians Orders' form
An issue is resolved to ensure that when an issue is encountered specifically while attempting to automatically send printed 'Order Entry Notifications' to designated printers that the filing of the orders will still occur.  Note that these changes to the order filing process apply when filing orders via either the 'Client Profile / Physicians Orders' form or via the Order Entry Console (whenever orders are being filed into the Avatar CWS database).
Order Filing Process
The order filing process is modified to better handle occasional situations that could result in order-related information being filed incompletely, or not being conveyed to other applications (Avatar eMAR, or ancillary systems such as pharmacy or lab).  With these changes, if all filing steps cannot be completed successfully, then the order(s) will not be filed at all, the user will be informed of the failure, and will be able to try again.

Discharge Med Reconciliation - 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit'
An issue is resolved in the Order Entry Console (Discharge Med Reconciliation section) to ensure that an order's 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' will display correctly when the order is added to the 'Home Medications Scratchpad (Post-Discharge)' from the list of 'Inpatient Medications'.

Order Entry Console - Interval Frequency - Dispense Qty calculation
An issue is resolved to ensure that in the Order Entry Console (all sections, when 'Dispense Qty' is available) that the 'Dispense Qty' is calculated correctly when the order uses a 'Frequency Code' that is defined as an 'Interval Frequency'.
