Product Update Form Description

In the Order Entry Console (Home Medications section), the 'External RxHx' and 'Prescriber's Queue' hyperlinks now use the 'Program' that is specified below the Scratchpad when launching to OrderConnect. The below-the-Scratchpad 'Program' is mapped to an OrderConnect 'Agency', which is then used during the authentication process when launching via these hyperlinks. Prior to this change, if a user launched to OrderConnect via either of these two hyperlinks (rather than the 'Order Labs' hyperlink), certain functions that the user might then navigate to within OrderConnect might be attributed to the wrong 'Agency' (location). The effect of this could include the printing of the wrong address on printed prescriptions. Note: A RADplus middleware upgrade or Update is required to make use of this new functionality.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: OE NX - Home Medications - Prescriber's Queue and External RxHx links

Specific Setup:

A client must have an inpatient episode whose program or unit are configured in the ‘External Pharmacy Setup’ form. (Client A) make note of the 'Agency ID' in the 'OrderConnect Facility/Agency Definition' form for Client A's program.

Steps

Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
Click the 'Home Medications' tab.
Click the 'External RxHx' and 'Prescriber's Queue' links and validate the 'Facility Name' for the agency associated to "Client A's" program displays.
