OE NX - Discharge Med Reconciliation
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Order Entry Console
Scenario 1: NX - Discharge Medication Reconciliation - Hold in Pending Status and Edit Pending Status
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Medication Reconciliation->->->Enable Medication Reconciliation in the Order Entry Console' registry setting must be set to "3". This is a Netsmart Only registry setting.
  • Client A must have an active inpatient episode.
Steps
  1. Access the Order Entry Console for "Client A".
  2. Set the 'New Order' field to "IBUPROFEN 200 MG TABLET ORAL".
  3. Set the 'Dose' field to "2".
  4. Select "TABLET" from the 'Dose Unit' field.
  5. Select "3 TIMES A DAY" from the 'Freq' field.
  6. Set the 'Duration' field to "10" and click [Days].
  7. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  8. Click the 'Home Medications' tab.
  9. Set the 'New Order' field to "Fish Oil 500 MG Capsule Oral".
  10. Set the 'Dose' field to "2".
  11. Select "IN THE MORNING" from the 'Frequency' field.
  12. Set the 'Days Supply' field to "10".
  13. Click [Add to Scratchpad], [Final Review], and [Sign].
  14. Click the 'Discharge Reconciliation' tab.
  15. Select the "IBUPROFEN 200 MG TABLET ORAL" order created from the 'Inpatient Medications' grid.
  16. Click [Do Not Add].
  17. Click [Hold in Pending Status].
  18. Validate the 'Discharge Med Reconciliation' tab displays in view only.
  19. Click the 'Orders This Episode' tab.
  20. Click the 'Discharge Med Reconciliation' tab.
  21. Validate the 'Discharge Med Reconciliation' tab displays with the correct information in view only mode.
  22. Click [Edit Pending Reconciliation].
  23. Validate the Dialog box text contains "Discharge Medication Reconciliation has not been updated to reflect any changes to inpatient or discharge medications since previously saved. Please review accordingly."
  24. Click [OK].
  25. Click [Hold in Pending Status] and [Activate & Reconcile].
  26. Validate the 'Discharge Med Reconciliation' tab displays in view only.

OE NX - Order Group

  • Orders This Episode
Scenario 1: OE NX - Order group - Lab with one time only frequency
Specific Setup:
  • A client must exist in an active episode (Client A)
  • A Lab-type order code must exist (Lab Code A)
Steps
  1. Access the 'Order Group Setup' form.
  2. Set the 'Select Order Group Description or #' field to "Order Group A".
  3. Click the 'New Order Group Description or #' button and click [Yes].
  4. Access the 'Order Group Components' section.
  5. Click [Add New Item].
  6. Search for and select "Lab Code A" from the 'Order Code' field.
  7. Set the 'Frequency' field to "One Time Only".
  8. Click [No] in the 'Make Order Open Ended' field and click [Submit].
  9. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  10. Search for and select "Order Group A" from the 'New Order' field.
  11. Click the "Lab Code A" checkbox.
  12. Validate the 'Stop Date' and 'Stop Time' are blank and click [Cancel].
  13. Access the 'Order Group Setup' form.
  14. Set the 'Select Order Group Description or #' field to "Order Group A".
  15. Click the 'New Order Group Description or #' button and click [Yes].
  16. Access the 'Order Group Components' section.
  17. Select the "Lab Code A" cell.
  18. Click [Edit Selected Item].
  19. Click [Yes] from the 'Make Order Open Ended' field and click [Submit].
  20. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  21. Search for and select "Order Group A" from the 'New Order' field.
  22. Click the "Lab Code A" checkbox.
  23. Validate the 'Stop Date' and 'Stop Time' are blank.

Avatar NX - NIAM Users
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Import Client Picture (PM)
Scenario 1: Import Client Picture - Import, Update and Remove
Specific Setup:
  • Have a system with “Netsmarts "(NIAM) Netsmart’s Identity and Access Management" functionality” configured.
  • Have a user that has been assigned an external login ID and password to login using the '(ODIC) Identity Provider' solution, in the 'User Definition' form (User A).
  • "User A" is configured in the 'User Definition' form with prompt 'User External Login' set to "Yes" and field 'External Login ID' populated with external login ID assigned by the '(ODIC) Identity Provider'. This will be used as "Netsmart ID" during login.
  • Must be logged in as "User A".
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • Must have a png file saved to upload for "Client A" (PNG A)
  • Must have two pictures saved to upload for "Client A" (Picture A and Picture B).
  • User must have more than one view configured on with a Client Information Header (View A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Import Client Picture' form.
  2. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  3. Click [Acquire Image].
  4. Open "PNG A".
  5. Validate an Error message stating: "Error. The file type image/png is not supported. Please select either a jpeg or jpg file".
  6. Click [OK].
  7. Click [Acquire Image].
  8. Open "Picture A".
  9. Validate the 'Picture' field displays "Picture A" and is not distorted.
  10. Click [Submit].
  11. Validate a 'Form Return' dialog stating: "Import Client Picture has completed. Do you wish to return to form?"
  12. Click [Yes].
  13. Validate the form does not contain "Client A."
  14. Close the form.
  15. Select "Client A" and click between views.
  16. Verify "Picture A" displays in the 'Client Information' header.
  17. Access the 'Import Client Picture' form.
  18. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  19. Click [Acquire Image].
  20. Open "Picture B".
  21. Validate the 'Picture' field displays "Picture B" and is not distorted.
  22. Click [Submit].
  23. Validate a 'Form Return' dialog stating: "Import Client Picture has completed. Do you wish to return to form?"
  24. Click [No].
  25. Click between views and verify "Picture B" displays in the 'Client Information' header.
  26. Access the 'Import Client Picture' form.
  27. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  28. Click [Clear Image].
  29. Validate the 'Picture' field does not contain "Picture B".
  30. Click [Submit].
  31. Validate a 'Form Return' dialog stating: "Import Client Picture has completed. Do you wish to return to form?"
  32. Click [No].
  33. Click between views and verify "Picture B" does not display in the 'Client Information' header.
  34. Click [Import] in the 'Client Information' header.
  35. Click [Browse].
  36. Open "Picture A" and click [Save].
  37. Verify "Picture A" displays in the 'Client Information' header.
  38. Click [Delete Image] in the 'Client Information' header.
  39. Validate a 'Confirm' dialog stating: "Would you like to remove the current client picture?"
  40. Click [OK].
  41. Verify "Picture A" does not display in the 'Client Information' header.
  42. Clear the Client.
Scenario 2: NIAM user- approving To Do's
Specific Setup:
  • Have a user with an associated staff member in 'User Definition' and be logged in (User A).
  • Have a system with “Netsmarts "(NIAM) Netsmart’s Identity and Access Management" functionality” configured.
  • Have a user that has been assigned an external login ID and password to login using the '(ODIC) Identity Provider' solution, in the 'User Definition' form (User B).
  • "User B" is configured in the 'User Definition' form with prompt 'User External Login' set to "Yes" and field 'External Login ID' populated with external login ID assigned by the '(ODIC) Identity Provider'. This will be used as "Netsmart ID" during login.
  • "User B" must have the 'My ToDo List' widget on their 'myDay' or any view.
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • A form (ex. Progress Notes (Group and Individual)) must be configured for Document Routing in the 'Document Routing Setup' form.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  2. Select any episode from the 'Select Episode' field.
  3. Select any value in the 'Progress Note For' field.
  4. Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
  5. Set the 'Notes' field to any value.
  6. Complete the remaining required fields.
  7. Select "Final" from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  8. Click [Submit Note].
  9. Click [Sign and Route].
  10. Enter User A's (the current logged in user's) password in the 'Verify Password' field.
  11. Click [Verify].
  12. Set the 'Supervisor' field to "User B".
  13. Click [Add - Supervisor].
  14. Click [Submit].
  15. Close the form.
  16. Log out.
  17. Log in as "User B".
  18. Navigate to the 'My ToDo's' widget.
  19. Select the newly created To Do for "Client A".
  20. Click [Review].
  21. Validate that the 'To Do Information' field displays the data as expected.
  22. Click [Accept] and [Sign].
  23. Enter User B's (the current logged in user's) password in the 'Password' field.
  24. Click [Verify] and [Send me the code].
  25. Enter the one-time verification code in the 'Verification Code' field.
  26. Click [Verify].
  27. Validate the To Do is no longer present.
  28. Click [Close Todos].
