Scenario 1: Avatar NX Forms - Verification of Field Label Display
Steps
  1. Open one or more Avatar NX forms (Avatar PM/MSO/CWS), including User Modeled forms/Report forms.
  2. On opening of Avatar NX form, confirm all field labels are visible/displayed with corresponding form fields as defined/expected.
  3. Open Avatar NX 'Form Designer' form (Avatar PM/MSO/CWS).
  4. Select 'Form Definition' form in 'Forms' field.
  5. Select form section for layout edit in 'Sections' field.
  6. Click 'Show Section' button.
  7. Ensure that Form Designer Layout form is displayed for edit.
  8. On opening of Form Designer Layout form, confirm all field labels are visible/displayed with corresponding form fields for selected form/section as defined/expected.

Internal Client Referrals

Scenario 1: 'Internal Client Referrals' - form validation
Specific Setup:
  • In the 'Internal Referral Type Maintenance' form, must have a referral type defined that is associated to a modeled form and a user associated to receive the internal referrals.
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • The 'My To's' widget must be assigned to the myDay view.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Internal Client Referrals' form.
  2. Select "Client A" in the 'Client Being Referred' field.
  3. Select any value in the 'Internal Referral Type Category' field.
  4. Select any value in the 'Internal Referral Type Being Requested' field.
  5. Select the desired episode.
  6. Click [Initiate Internal Referral Process].
  7. Validate the modeled form associated with the referral is displayed.
  8. Populate the modeled form.
  9. Click [Submit].
  10. Validate the 'Internal Client Referrals' field remains open and the previous values have been cleared.
  11. Access the 'Process Internal Referrals' form.
  12. Select the row pertaining to "Client A" in the 'Internal Referral' grid.
  13. Select "Accepted" in the 'Internal Referral Status' field.
  14. Click [Process Internal Referral].
  15. Validate a message is displayed stating "The Internal Referral has been processed successfully".
  16. Click [OK]
  17. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  18. Validate the referral 'To Do' generated by the modeled form is present in the users to 'My To Do's' list
  19. Click [Review To Do Item].
  20. Validate the 'To Do' information states "The Internal Referral for Client A has been Accepted".
  21. Click [Reviewed] and [Submit].
  22. Validate the 'To Do' is reviewed successfully and removed from the 'To Do' List.

Scenario 1: All Documents Widget - 'Form Specific Pre Display' validations
Specific Setup:
  • Have a form [FormA] that contains a "Pre-display" configured in the form. For example, a modeled form with pre-display turned "On" in "Form Definition". (Note the names of the fields defined to display in the pre-display)
  • Have a client [ClientA] that has two or more rows of data filed in [FormA] in an episode [EpisodeA]
  • Have a form [FormB] that does contain a "Pre-display" in the form. For example, a modeled form with pre-display turned "Off" in "Form Definition"
  • Have the "All Documents Widget" configured with both [FormA] and [FormB] in the widget
  • Have the "All Documents Widget" included on a users home view [UserA]
Steps
  1. At the Home View, select [ClientA]
  2. Select "Episode A" from the "Episodes" field drop down list on the home view
  3. Navigate to the "All Documents Widget"
  4. Click the "All Forms" tab
  5. Select [FormB] from the "Form Description" drop down list
  6. Validate the row filed in the setup for [FormA] is displayed in the results list
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the results list
  8. Validate the "Form Specific PreDisplay" checkbox is not enabled, since the form does not contain a "Pre-display"
  9. Deselect [FormB] from the "Form Description" drop down list
  10. Select [FormA] from the "Form Description" drop down list
  11. Validate the rows filed in the setup for [FormB] are displayed in the results list
  12. Scroll to the bottom of the results list
  13. Click the "Form Specific PreDisplay" checkbox
  14. Validate the label name of the "Form Specific PreDisplay" check box field now says ""Form Specific PreDisplay - [FormB]"
  15. Validate the pre-display results list contains results for each a row field in the set up
  16. Validate all pre-display "Column" header labels and data displayed in each column is as expected
  17. Click any desired column, for example a "Draft/Final' column and select a value to filter on
  18. Validate data row pre-display results are displayed as expected based on the value selected
  19. Deselect the "Form Specific PreDisplay" check box
  20. Validate the results are returned to values displayed in step 3d

  • An Order Group (Order Group A) must have a pharmacy-type order (Order A) with additional instructions that contains line breaks
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • "Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Order Group A" from the 'New Order' field.
  3. Click the checkbox for "Order A" from the 'Order Group' dialog and click [Add to Scratchpad].
  4. Select "Order A" from the 'Scratchpad'.
  5. Populate all required fields.
  6. Validate the 'Addl Instructions' field contains the information added preserving the line breaks.
  7. Click [Update Order] and [Sign].
  8. Validate the 'Order grid' contains "Order A" with the appropriate information.

Scenario 1: 'Progress Notes' console widget - file, sort and view
Specific Setup:
  • A client must admitted in an existing episode (Client A).
  • Client A must have 3 or more Progress Notes on file.
  • The user must have a console widget configured for Progress Notes.
  • The 'Progress Notes' console widget and 'Console Widget Viewer' must be assigned to a view in the 'View Definition' form (View A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Progress Note (Group and Individual)' form.
  2. Select the desired episode.
  3. Select any value in the 'Progress Note For' field.
  4. Enter any value in the 'Date of Service' field.
  5. Enter any value in the 'Service Charge Code' field.
  6. Select "Draft" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  7. Click [Submit Note].
  8. Navigate to "View A" and the 'Progress Notes' widget.
  9. Validate the note filed in the previous steps is displayed.
  10. Click [View].
  11. Validate the corresponding note opens in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
  12. Click [Open Record].
  13. Validate the data corresponds with the note previously filed.
  14. Click [Discard].
  15. Click the undock button on the 'Progress Notes' widget.
  16. Click the undock button on the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
  17. Click [View].
  18. Validate the 'Console Widget Viewer' contains the note filed in the previous steps.
  19. Select the 'Date' header.
  20. Validate the entries are sorted by date.
  21. Select the 'Form Description' header and Ctrl + click on the 'Date' header.

Scenario 1: Form Designer (Avatar NX) - Validate moving multiple fields within the form layout
Specific Setup:
  • Have a form [FormA] that includes two sub sections with three more fields in each sub section. For example, form "Update Client Data"
Steps
  1. Open "Form Designer"
  2. Select [FormA]
  3. In the "Sections" field, select the desired section and click [Show Section]
  4. On the form layout, hold the CTRL key and click on [FieldA]
  5. Validate the field borders are highlighted to bring the field into focus
  6. While still holding the CTRL key, click on [FieldB]
  7. Validate that field is also brought into focus along with FieldA to create groups of fields to be moved
  8. While still holding the CTRL key, click on [FieldC]
  9. Validate that field is also brought into focus along with [FieldA] and [FieldB] to add to the group
  10. Letting go of the CTRL key click on any component
  11. Validate the group of fields selected are now not selected and not in focus
  12. Repeat steps 4 and 5
  13. While still holding the CTRL key, click on a field in the group and drag the fields to an open space in that section
  14. Validate while dragging, placeholders move with the mouse representing the shape of the group
  15. Validate the components hold their shape and are moved it intended location
  16. Repeat steps 4 and 5
  17. While still holding the CTRL key, drop the group on top of existing elements on the layout
  18. Validate while dragging, placeholders move with the mouse representing the shape of the group
  19. Validate the existing fields make room for the group while the fields hold their shape and are moved it intended location
  20. Repeat steps 4 and 5
  21. While still holding the CTRL key, drag the group toward bottom border into the subsection below

  • Please log out and log back in after the above configuration has been completed.

  • The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Client Profile->->->Req. Dx for Controlled Substance Rx in the OE Console (Home Meds/Disch Med Rec)' registry setting must be set to "II&&III&IV&V".
  • Please log out and log back in after the above configuration has been completed.
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A).

  38. Select the order for "LISINOPRIL 40 MG ORAL TABLET", hit Shift and select the order for "TYLENOL WITH CODEINE NO. 3 300 MG-30 MG ORAL TABLET (Schedule III)" in 'Inpatient Medications' and click [Add to Scratchpad As Rx].
  39. Validate the orders for "Lisinopril" and "Tylenol with Codeine" are displayed in the 'Home Medications Scratchpad (Post-Discharge)' with a red flag in the 'Action' column for both orders,
  40. Select the order for "Lisinopril".

Steps
  1. Access the 'Treatment Plan' form undocked.
  2. Enter "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
  3. Enter any value in the 'Plan Date' field.
  4. Select any value in the 'Plan Type' field.
  5. Access the 'Current Database Locks' form.
  6. Validate the displays shows locks for "User A".
  7. Close the undocked 'Treatment Plan'.
  8. Click [Update Display].
  9. Validate the display no longer shows locks for "User A".
  10. Close the form.
Scenario 4: Docked/Undocked Widgets - Validate widget data
Specific Setup:
  • User A has a client episode based widget on their myDay view. For this example the 'Client Diagnosis' widget is used.
  • Client A has diagnosis filed in 'Episode 1' and 'Episode 2'.
  • Client B has diagnosis filed in 'Episode 1' and 'Episode 2'.
  • The form 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' has the 'Client Diagnosis' widget added to the form.
Steps
  1. Log in as "User A".
  2. Select "Client A".
  3. Select "Episode 1" in the 'Episodes' drop down list.
  4. Validate the 'Client Diagnosis' widget displays the diagnosis record filed for "Client A" in "Episode 1".
  5. Click the 'Undock' icon on the widget.
  6. Validate the 'Client Diagnosis' widget displays the diagnosis record filed for "Client A" in "Episode 1".
  7. Close the undocked 'Client Diagnosis' widget.
  8. Select "Episode 2" in the 'Episodes' drop down list.

  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Set the New Order field to "ADVIL".
  3. Search for and select "ADVIL 200 MG TABLET ORAL" from the 'New Order' field.
  4. Set the 'Dose' field to "1".
  5. Validate the 'Dose Unit' field contains "Tablet".
  6. Select "TWICE A DAY" from the 'Frequency' field.
