OE NX - Orders This Episode - All Episodes
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Order Entry Console
  • Order Entry Console - Multiple Reasons Checklist
  • Orders This Episode
  • Registry Settings (PM)
Scenario 1: OE NX - Orders This Episode - Lab Orders - No External Lab Vendor Destination - New, Copy, Modify, Print and Discontinue
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Default Value for Console View Episodes' Registry setting must be set to "1".
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and validate the 'Header Episode' is equal to "All episodes".
  2. Access the Order Entry Console.
  3. Validate a message is displayed "Widget disabled due to your security settings".
  4. Select "Episode 1" from the 'Header Episode' field.
  5. Search for and select "CBC Panel " from the 'New Order' field.
  6. Select "ONCE A WEEK" from the 'Frequency' field.
  7. Select the blank value from the 'External Lab Vendor Destination' field.
  8. Click [Reason - View].
  9. Select any reason and click [Save].
  10. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  11. Validate the 'Order grid' contains an order for "CBC".
  12. Select the "CBC" order and click [Copy].
  13. Click [Reason - View].
  14. Select any reason and click [Save].
  15. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  16. Validate the 'Order grid' contains an order for "CBC".
  17. Select the "CBC" order and click [Modify].
  18. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  19. Validate the 'Order grid' contains an order for "CBC".
  20. Select the "CBC" order and click [D/C].
  21. Validate the "CBC" order no longer displays in the 'Order grid'.
