OE NX - Order Entry Console - Admission Med Reconciliation
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Order Entry Console - Admission Med Reconciliation
- Order Entry Console - Admission Med Reconciliation - Interactions dialog
- Orders This Episode
Scenario 1: OE NX - Admission Med Reconciliation - Schedule II - New Order
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form and ‘Diagnosis’ form.
- "Client A" must not have a 'Height' and 'Weight' entered in the 'Vitals Entry' form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Click the 'Admission Reconciliation' tab.
- Search for and select "RITALIN 10 MG TABLET ORAL (Schedule II)" from the 'New Order' field.
- Set the 'Dose' field to "2".
- Select "TABLET" from the 'Dose Unit' field.
- Select "TWICE A DAY" from the 'Freq' field.
- Set the 'Duration' field to "10", click [Days] and [Add to Scratchpad].
- Validate the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad' contains an order for "RITALIN 10 MG TABLET (Schedule II) 2 TABLET, TWICE A DAY".
- Click [Reconcile & Review].
- Populate the 'Notes' field for all interactions and click [Save Override and Exite]. (Note: An interactions dialog should show because "Client A" does not have a 'Height' and 'Weight' filed in the 'Vitals Entry' form)
- Click the 'Orders This Episode' tab.
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains one order for "RITALIN (METHYLPHENIDATE HYDROCHLORIDE) 10 MG ORAL TABLET (Schedule II) 2 TABLET, TWICE A DAY".
