Avatar NX User Interface Update 2021.11.00.02 Acceptance Tests


Form Bundles
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Diagnosis
  • Form Bundler (CWS)
  • Ambulatory Progress Notes
  • Void Results
Scenario 1: Form Bundler: Create and File a New Sequential Bundle
Specific Setup:
  • User must have access to the form 'Form Bundler' in 'User Definition'.
  • A client must be admitted to an active episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Form Bundler' form.
  2. Validate a "Form Bundler" dialog is displayed stating: Edit Existing Form Bundle or Create New Form Bundle.
  3. Click [Create New] and [Print Current Menu].
  4. Validate a "Form Bundler" menu is displayed.
  5. Click [Dismiss].
  6. Enter any value (Form Bundle A) in the 'Form Bundle Description' field.
  7. Select "Sequential" from the 'Type of Bundle' field.
  8. Select any value from the 'Menu to Place Form Bundle Under' field.
  9. Select the 'Included Forms' tab.
  10. Click [Add New Item].
  11. Select any value (ex. 'Call Intake') from the 'Form' field.
  12. Click [Add New Item].
  13. Select any value of the same entity database as the one selected in the previous step (ex. 'Assign Permanent MR#') from the 'Form' field.
  14. Click [Submit].
  15. Access the 'Display Form Bundle' form.
  16. Select "All" from the 'Individual or All Form Bundles' field.
  17. Click [Process].
  18. Validate a Display Form Bundle report is displayed
  19. Validate the report displays "Form Bundle A".
  20. Click [Dismiss].
  21. Validate a "Form Return" dialog is displayed stating: Processing report has completed. Do you wish to return to form?
  22. Click [No].
  23. Select "Client A" and access the form bundle.
  24. Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
  25. Click [Add].
  26. Validate that the first form in the bundle opens.
  27. Complete the required fields and click [Submit].
  28. Validate that the next form in the bundle opens for Client A with the episode that was selected upon entering the first form of the bundle.
  29. Click [Add]
  30. Complete the required fields and click [Submit].
  31. Validate that the next form in the bundle opens for Client A with the episode that was selected upon entering the first form of the bundle
  32. Click [Add]
  33. Complete the required fields and click [Submit].
  34. Compete each of the remaining forms in the bundle and click [Submit].
  35. Validate each form files successfully.
Scenario 2: Simultaneous Bundles - Multiple Clients
Specific Setup:
  • At least 2 clients must be admitted to an active episode (Client A and Client B).
  • Simultaneous bundles must be configured in the system in 'Form Bundler'.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and access a 'Simultaneous Bundle'.
  2. Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
  3. Click [Add].
  4. Select "Client B" from the 'My Clients' list and access a 'Simultaneous Bundle'.
  5. Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
  6. Click [Add].
  7. Select the form tab for Client A and choose the 2nd form in the bundle.
  8. Validate that the client header and Select Episode field is displayed for Client A as expected.
  9. Select the 1st form in the bundle.
  10. Click [Submit].
  11. Select the form tab for Client B and choose the 2nd form in the bundle.
  12. Validate that the client header and Select Episode field is displayed for Client B as expected.
  13. Select the 1st form in the bundle.
  14. Click [Submit].
  15. Select the form tab for Client A and complete the remaining forms in the bundle.
  16. Click [Submit].
  17. Validate that the remaining forms filed successfully as expected for Client A.
  18. Select the form tab for Client B and complete the remaining forms in the bundle.
  19. Click [Submit].
  20. Validate that the remaining forms filed successfully as expected for Client B.

Document Routing - 'Documents to Sign'
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Individual Progress Note
Scenario 1: 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' with document routing enabled - New Service Note
Specific Setup:
  • Document Routing must be enabled on the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  • The 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form must be added to 'Chart View', if utilizing Avatar NX please set up the "All Document Widget".
Steps
  1. Access the 'Admission' form.
  2. Admit a new client ensuring that the practitioner associated with the user logged into the application is selected in the 'Admitting Practitioner' and 'Attending Practitioner' fields.
  3. Access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  4. Validate the ‘Admitting Practitioner’ and ‘Attending Practitioner’ fields in the client header contain the credentials for the staff member associated with the logged in user.
  5. Enter "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
  6. Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
  7. Select "New Service" from the 'Progress Notes For' field.
  8. Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
  9. Enter any value in the 'Notes Field' field.
  10. Search for and select the practitioner associated with the user who is logged into the application in the 'Practitioner' field.
  11. Enter the current date in the 'Date Of Service' field.
  12. Search for and select any value in the 'Service Charge Code' field.
  13. Select "Final" from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  14. Click [File Note].
  15. Validate the "Document Routing" dialog displays.
  16. Click [Accept].
  17. Validate a "Verify Password" dialog is displayed.
  18. Enter the password associated with the practitioner associated with the user who is logged into the application and click [OK].
  19. Validate a message is displayed stating "Note Filed" and click [OK].
  20. Close the form.
  21. Select “Client A" and access their 'Chart View'.
  22. Select the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" previously filed in the ‘Document’ section.
  23. Validate the 'TIFF' image is displayed and contains the credentials for the practitioner who is associated with the user who is logged into the application.
  24. Select the "Progress Notes (Group and Individual)" previously filed in the chart view.
  25. Validate the 'Practitioner' field contains the credentials for the practitioner who is associated with the user who is logged into the application in the 'Chart View' document.
  26. Close the 'Chart View'.
Scenario 2: To Do approval for Progress Note form with Document Routing
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be admitted to an active episode (Client A).
  • Have a progress note form enabled for document routing
  • UserA is staff member and has the "My To do's" widget on their 'myDay' view
Steps
  1. Select Client A and access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  2. Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
  3. Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
  4. Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
  5. Complete the remaining required fields.
  6. Select 'Final' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  7. Click [Submit Note].
  8. Click [Sign and Route]
  9. Set the 'Password' field to the password of the logged in user.
  10. Click [Verify].
  11. Set the 'Supervisor' field to any value (for testing add the practitioner associated to the current logged in user) to route to yourself.
  12. Click [Add] and [Submit].
  13. Access the 'My To Do's' widget.
  14. In the 'Documents to Sign' section, select the newly created 'To Do' for Client A.
  15. Click [Review].
  16. Validate that the 'Sign' button remains disabled until the 'Document Preview' displays the document.
  17. Once enabled, click [Accept] and [Sign].
  18. Set the 'Password' field to the password of the logged in user.
  19. Click [Verify].
  20. Validate that the 'To Do' is removed from the 'My To Do's' list ('Documents to Sign') section.
