Avatar NX - Support for Topaz signature pads
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • DOCUMENTS TO REVIEW
  • Treatment Plan
Scenario 1: Progress Notes (Group and Individual) - obtain signature
Specific Setup:
  • Must have a Topaz signature pad for testing.
  • The 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form must have a signature field.
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  2. Select "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
  3. Select "Independent Note" in the 'Progress Note For' field.
  4. Select the desired value in the 'Note Type' field.
  5. Enter the desired value in the 'Notes Field' field.
  6. Click [Sign] in the 'Signature' field.
  7. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is displayed.
  8. Validate the signature pad contains 4 fields:
  9. [OK] button
  10. [Clear] button
  11. [Cancel] button
  12. Signature area
  13. Click [Cancel] on the signature pad.
  14. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is no longer displayed.
  15. Click [Sign] in the 'Signature' field.
  16. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is displayed.
  17. Sign on the signature pad.
  18. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog contains the signature.
  19. Click [Clear] on the signature pad.
  20. Validate the signature is cleared from both the signature pad and the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog.
  21. Sign again on the signature pad.
  22. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog contains the new signature.
  23. Click [OK] on the signature pad.
  24. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is no longer displayed.
  25. Validate the 'Signature' field contains the new signature.
  26. Select "Final" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  27. File the note.
Scenario 2: Treatment Plan - obtain signature
Specific Setup:
  • Must have a Topaz signature pad for testing.
  • The 'Treatment Plan' form must have a signature field.
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
  2. Enter the desired date in the 'Plan Date' field.
  3. Select the desired value in the 'Plan Type' field.
  4. Select "Draft" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  5. Click [Launch Plan].
  6. Add the desired treatment plan items.
  7. Click [Return To Plan].
  8. Click [Sign] in the 'Signature' field.
  9. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is displayed.
  10. Validate the signature pad contains 4 fields:
  11. [OK] button
  12. [Clear] button
  13. [Cancel] button
  14. Signature area
  15. Click [Cancel] in the signature pad.
  16. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is no longer displayed.
  17. Click [Sign] in the 'Signature' field.
  18. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is displayed.
  19. Sign on the signature pad.
  20. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog contains the signature.
  21. Click [Clear] on the signature pad.
  22. Validate the signature is cleared from both the signature pad and the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog.
  23. Sign again on the signature pad.
  24. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog contains the new signature.
  25. Click [OK] on the signature pad.
  26. Validate the 'Please Sign On Signature Pad' dialog is no longer displayed.
  27. Validate the 'Signature' field contains the new signature.
  28. Select "Final" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  29. Submit the form.
