Client Information Banner - Forms and Widgets
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • App Dashboard
  • Client Ledger
  • Individual Progress Note
  • My To Do's
  • Review To Do Item
  • Staff Assessment
Scenario 1: Client Ledger - Add services through the 'Client Charge Input' form then validate, view, and export in .txt and csv formats from the 'Client Ledger'.
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client A).
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode with services filed in the 'Client Charge Input' form (Client B).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Client Charge Input' form.
  2. Set the 'Date Of Service' field to any value.
  3. Set the 'Service Start Time' field to any value.
  4. Set the 'Service End Time' field to any value.
  5. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client A.
  6. Select any value from the 'Episode Number' field.
  7. Select any value from the 'Service Code' field.
  8. Select any value from the 'Practitioner' field.
  9. Click [Submit].
  10. Access the 'Client Ledger' form.
  11. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client A.
  12. Select any value from the 'Episode - Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  13. Select "All Episodes" from the 'Episode Number' field.
  14. Select any value from 'Ledger Type' field.
  15. Set the 'From Date' field to any value.
  16. Set the 'To Date' field to any value.
  17. Click [Process].
  18. Validate the 'CLIENT LEDGER' displays the data as expected for Client A.
  19. Click the Export Page button
  20. Set the 'Export File' field to any value.
  21. Select ".txt" from the 'Extensions' field.
  22. Click [OK].
  23. Click [Close].
  24. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client A.
  25. Open another instance of the 'Client Ledger' form.
  26. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client B.
  27. Select any value from the 'Episode - Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  28. Select "All Episodes" from the 'Episode Number' field.
  29. Select any value from 'Ledger Type' field.
  30. Set the 'From Date' field to any value.
  31. Set the 'To Date' field to any value.
  32. Click [Process].
  33. Click [Close].
  34. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client B.
  35. Switch back to the Client Ledger form for Client A.
  36. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client A.
  37. Switch back to the Client Ledger form for Client B.
  38. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client B
  39. Click [Discard].
Scenario 2: Client / Staff To Do's - Keeping the client and staff in context when opening the To Do.
Specific Setup:
  • Two clients must be admitted to an active episode with a draft form filed.
  • A staff based form must exist in the system (ex. Staff Assessment).
Steps
  1. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  2. Select the To Do for "Client A"
  3. Click [Review To Do Item].
  4. Validate that the 'To Do Information' field contains the data for "Client A".
  5. Check the 'Reviewed - Set To Do Item' field.
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  8. Select the To Do for "Client A".
  9. Click [Form To Do (ex. Progress Note)].
  10. Validate that the draft form opens with the client in context and the data is populated as expected.
  11. Complete the required fields.
  12. Select any value from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  13. Click [Submit Note].
  14. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  15. Click the [Staff Form To Do].
  16. Validate that the draft form opens for the selected staff member and the data is populated as expected.
  17. Click [Submit].
  18. Click [Close To Do's].
Scenario 3: Client in Context - Client Banner
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode with services on file (Client A).
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client B).
  • User must have a Documentation view assigned.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Client Ledger' form.
  2. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client A.
  3. Select any value from the 'Episode - Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  4. Select "All Episodes" " from the 'Episode Number' field.
  5. Select any value from 'Ledger Type' field.
  6. Set the 'From Date' field to any value.
  7. Set the 'To Date' field to any value.
  8. Click [Process].
  9. Validate the 'CLIENT LEDGER' displays the data as expected for Client A.
  10. Click [Close].
  11. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client A.
  12. Open another instance of the 'Client Ledger' form.
  13. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client B.
  14. Select any value from the 'Episode - Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  15. Select "All Episodes" " from the 'Episode Number' field.
  16. Select any value from 'Ledger Type' field.
  17. Set the 'From Date' field to any value.
  18. Set the 'To Date' field to any value.
  19. Click [Process].
  20. Click [Close].
  21. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client B.
  22. Switch back to the Client Ledger form for Client A.
  23. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client A.
  24. Switch back to the Client Ledger form for Client B.
  25. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client B
  26. Click [Discard].
  27. Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and navigate to the 'All Documents' view.
  28. Validate that Client A's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  29. Select the 'Documents' tab.
  30. Select any document from the list of documents.
  31. Validate that the document displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  32. Select the 'All Note Types' tab.
  33. Select any form from the list of notes.
  34. Validate that the form displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  35. Select "Client B" from the 'My Clients' list.
  36. Validate that Client B's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  37. Select any document from the list of documents.
  38. Validate that the document displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  39. Select the 'All Note Types' tab.
  40. Select any form from the list of notes.
  41. Validate that the form displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  42. Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list.
  43. Validate that Client A's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  44. Validate that the documents previously selected display in the 'Console Widget Viewer' for Client A as expected.
  45. Select "Client B" from the 'My Clients' list.
  46. Validate that Client B's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  47. Validate that the documents previously selected display in the 'Console Widget Viewer' for Client B as expected.

All Documents View - Client Information Banner
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

  • My To Do's
  • Review To Do Item

Scenario 1: Client / Staff To Do's - Keeping the client and staff in context when opening the To Do.
Specific Setup:
  • Two clients must be admitted to an active episode with a draft form filed.
  • A staff based form must exist in the system (ex. Staff Assessment).
Steps
  1. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  2. Select the To Do for "Client A"
  3. Click [Review To Do Item].
  4. Validate that the 'To Do Information' field contains the data for "Client A".
  5. Check the 'Reviewed - Set To Do Item' field.
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  8. Select the To Do for "Client A".
  9. Click [Form To Do (ex. Progress Note)].
  10. Validate that the draft form opens with the client in context and the data is populated as expected.
  11. Complete the required fields.
  12. Select any value from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  13. Click [Submit Note].
  14. Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  15. Click the [Staff Form To Do].
  16. Validate that the draft form opens for the selected staff member and the data is populated as expected.
  17. Click [Submit].
  18. Click [Close To Do's].
Scenario 2: Client in Context - Client Banner
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode with services on file (Client A).
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client B).
  • User must have a Documentation view assigned.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Client Ledger' form.
  2. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client A.
  3. Select any value from the 'Episode - Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  4. Select "All Episodes" " from the 'Episode Number' field.
  5. Select any value from 'Ledger Type' field.
  6. Set the 'From Date' field to any value.
  7. Set the 'To Date' field to any value.
  8. Click [Process].
  9. Validate the 'CLIENT LEDGER' displays the data as expected for Client A.
  10. Click [Close].
  11. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client A.
  12. Open another instance of the 'Client Ledger' form.
  13. Set the 'Client ID' field to Client B.
  14. Select any value from the 'Episode - Claim/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  15. Select "All Episodes" " from the 'Episode Number' field.
  16. Select any value from 'Ledger Type' field.
  17. Set the 'From Date' field to any value.
  18. Set the 'To Date' field to any value.
  19. Click [Process].
  20. Click [Close].
  21. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client B.
  22. Switch back to the Client Ledger form for Client A.
  23. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client A.
  24. Switch back to the Client Ledger form for Client B.
  25. Validate that the Client banner displays the data for Client B
  26. Click [Discard].
  27. Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and navigate to the 'All Documents' view.
  28. Validate that Client A's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  29. Select the 'Documents' tab.
  30. Select any document from the list of documents.
  31. Validate that the document displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  32. Select the 'All Note Types' tab.
  33. Select any form from the list of notes.
  34. Validate that the form displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  35. Select "Client B" from the 'My Clients' list.
  36. Validate that Client B's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  37. Select any document from the list of documents.
  38. Validate that the document displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  39. Select the 'All Note Types' tab.
  40. Select any form from the list of notes.
  41. Validate that the form displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer' as expected.
  42. Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list.
  43. Validate that Client A's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  44. Validate that the documents previously selected display in the 'Console Widget Viewer' for Client A as expected.
  45. Select "Client B" from the 'My Clients' list.
  46. Validate that Client B's information is displayed in the 'Client Banner' as expected.
  47. Validate that the documents previously selected display in the 'Console Widget Viewer' for Client B as expected.

'My To Do's' widget - To-Do's sent from Medical Note
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • HomeView
  • POV - Medical Note
Scenario 1: MedNote - Send To Do from MedNote
Specific Setup:
  • A user must be associated to a practitioner and have MedNote assigned as an associated view.
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Medical Note' view.
  2. Click [Send To Do].
  3. Select the practitioner associated to the logged in user in the 'To-Do Recipient' field.
  4. Enter the desired value in the 'Notes' field.
  5. Click [Send].
  6. Select the 'myDay' view.
  7. Click [Additional ToDos].
  8. Validate the 'Additional ToDos' list contains the To-Do sent from 'Medical Note' in the previous steps.
  9. Click [Review To Do Item].
  10. Validate the 'Notes' field contains the value entered in the previous steps.
  11. Click [Complete] and [Close].
  12. Validate the 'Additional ToDos' list no longer contains the To-Do sent from 'Medical Note' in the previous steps.
  13. Click [Close].
