Scenario 1: Client Charge Input - Validation
Specific Setup:
- The 'Allow Start - End Times To Extend Beyond Midnight' registry setting is set to "Y".
- An existing client is identified or a new client is added. Note the Client ID.
- An existing practitioner is identified. Note the practitioner id and practitioner name.
- An existing service code is identified. Note the service code.
Steps
- Open the 'Client Charge Input' form.
- Verify the 'Client Charge Input' tab is open.
- Click the Y button next to the 'Date of Service' field.
- Verify the field is populated with the yesterday's date.
- Enter 1100 in the 'Service Start' field.
- Click into the 'Service End Time' field.
- Verify the 'Service Start Time' contains '11:00'.
- Enter 1000 in the 'Service End Time' field.
- Tab out of the 'Service End Time' field.
- Verify a dialog displays "Warning: Service End Time is beyond midnight from Service Start Time."
- Click [OK].
- Verify the warning dialog is closed and does not pop up again immediately.
- Select the client identified in the setup section.
- Select the service code identified in the setup section.
- Select the practitioner identified in the setup section.
- Make sure to populate all required fields.
- Submit the form.
- Verify the form submits successfully.
Scenario 2: Scheduling Calendar Reports - Validating appointments between given start date and end date
Specific Setup:
- 2-3 existing practitioners are identified. Note the practitioners name and id.
- 2 appointments are scheduled for the practitioners identified above. Note the dates and site of the appointments scheduled.
Steps
- Open the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
- Locate the bottom left corner.
- Click on the 'Reports' link.
- Select 'Practitioner' In the 'View Point' field.
- Select desired site from the 'Site' field.
- Select the practitioners identified in the setup section from the 'Practitioner' field.
- Enter desired date in the 'Appointment Start Date' field that covers the appointments scheduled for the practitioners in the setup section.
- Enter desired date in the 'Appointment End Date' field that covers the appointments scheduled for the practitioners in the setup section.
- Click [Print Schedule].
- Verify the 'Appointment Start Date' and 'Appointment End Date' populated correctly and a popup window for a Report Viewer is opened.
- Verify the report displays all the appointments for the given date range, and no appointments outside of the requested date range.
- Close the report.
- Close the form.
Scenario 3: Scheduling Calendar Report - Validating the validation message when there is a invalid input to 'Appointment End Date'
Specific Setup:
- Practitioner Enrollment:
- 2-3 existing practitioners are identified. Note the practitioners id and name.
- Scheduling Calendar:
- At least 2 appointments are scheduled for the practitioners identified above. Note the dates and site of the appointments scheduled.
Steps
- Open the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
- Locate the bottom left corner.
- Click on the 'Reports' link.
- Select 'Practitioner' In the 'View Point' field.
- Select desired site from the 'Site' field.
- Select the practitioners identified in the setup section from the 'Practitioner' field.
- Verify the 'View Point', 'Site' and 'Practitioner' have a selection.
- Enter desired date in the 'Appointment Start Date' field such that it covers the appointments scheduled for the practitioners in the setup section (i.e. "06142021").
- Click into the 'Appointment End Date' field.
- Verify the 'Appointment Start Date' shows the date entered in date format (i.e. 06/14/2021).
- Leave the 'Appointment End Date' field blank.
- Verify the 'Appointment End Date' is empty and an error dialog saying "Appointment End Date Required." displays.
- Enter desired date in the 'Appointment End Date' field such that it covers the appointments scheduled for the practitioners in the setup section (i.e. "06202021").
- Click [Print Schedule].
- Verify a popup window for a report viewer is opened.
- Verify the report displays all the appointments for the entered date range.
- Close the report.
- Enter any free text in the 'Appointment End Date' field.
- Click [Print Schedule].
- Verify the 'Appointment End Date' temporarily shows an 'Invalid Date' tooltip and populated with the date that is same as 'Appointment Start Date' and the popup window for a Report Viewer is opened.
- Verify the report displays all the appointments for the entered date range.
- Close the report.
- Close the form.
Scenario 4: Progress Notes - Validating the 'Session End Time' upon clicking 'Add / Update Times'
Specific Setup:
- An existing outpatient client is identified. Not the Client ID.
- Identify the service code assigned to the admission program of the client. Note the service code.
Steps
- Open the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form for the client identified in the setup section.
- Select desired episode.
- Set the 'Progress Note For' field to 'New Service'.
- Enter today's date as 'Date of Service'.
- Enter "0900" for Session Start time.
- Click in the 'Session End Time' field and enter "1000".
- Click [Add/Update Time].
- Verify there is no error received.
- Verify the 'Start / End Time (s)' field displays "09:00 AM -10:00 AM".
- Select the service code identified in the 'Service Charge Code' field.
- Populate all other required fields.
- Select 'Draft' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Submit the note.

- User must have this widget assigned to any view in 'View Definition'
- A client must be admitted to an active episode with data filed that can be displayed in the widget and template (Client A).
Steps
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and open the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
- Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
- Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
- Set the 'Notes Field' to any value.
- Click [Template Icon].
- Click [Widget Templates].
- Click [Client] and [Test SQL Widget] (ex. Last 10 Vitals Taken for Client by Reading Type).
- Set the 'Parameter' field to any value (ex. BP).
- Click [OK].
- Validate that the data appears in the 'Notes Field'.
- Complete the required fields.
- Select any value from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit Note].

- Set the 'Password' field to the password of the logged in user.

- Search for a form in the "Search Forms" field
- Select the form and click [Save]
- Click [Yes] to save the changes
- Click [OK]

- Open [FormA]
- Validate the "QuickLinks" form added, is listed under the section name on the left side panel
- Click on the form
- Validate the expected form opens successfully
- Close the form
- Open the 'Form Designer' form.
- Select [FormA] from the 'Forms' field.
- Select the desired section from the "Sections" field.
- Click [Show Section].
- Click [Edit] in the 'Quick Links' section on the left side panel
- Click the [Remove] button next to the form added in step 1
- Click [Save]
- Validate the form is removed from the "QuickLinks" forms list

- Select "No" to the 'Is there a Risk of Suicide for this client?'.
- Select 'Final' in the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Submit the note.
- Select 'Sign and Route' in the 'Confirm Document' dialog.
- Set the password field to the login password.
- Click [Verify].
- Select and add desired supervisor in the 'Route Document To Dialog'.
- Select and add desired team from the 'Team' drop down in the 'Route Document To Dialog'.
- Click [Submit].
- Verify the progress note files successfully.
- Locate the 'MY TO DO'S' widget.
- Verify the progress note filed recently is available to review.
- Click [Review].
- Click [Accept].
- Enter desired comments in the 'Comments for Accepted' field.
- Enter desired password in the 'PASSWORD' field.
- Click [Verify].

- A client must have an active episode.(Client A).
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search and select "CAT SCAN (CS)" in the 'New Order' field.
- Click [Reason - View].
- Validate that the 'Multiple Reason Checklist' dialog is displayed.
- Check "Reason A", "Reason B", and "Reason C" in 'Reasons'.
- Validate that "Reason A", "Reason B", and "Reason C" are displayed in 'Reasons Selected'.
- Click [Save].
- Set the 'Reason Text' field to "TEST".
- Set the 'Duration' field to "2" and click [Days].
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].

- Search for and select "Fish Oil 500 MG CAPSULE ORAL" in the ‘New Order’ field.
- Set the ‘Dose’ field to “2”.
- Select "Capsule" in the ‘Dose Unit’ field.
- Select "TWICE A DAY" in the ‘Freq’ field.
- Set the ‘Duration’ field to “5” and click [Days].
- Validate the ‘Start Date’ field contains the current date.
- Validate the ‘Start Time’ field contains the current time.

- Login to Avatar NX.
- Click the 'My Activity' button that is on the right end of the home page.
- Verify the right sidebar opens.
- Click [TO DOS].
- Verify the To Dos tab is open.
- Hover over the 'Create a New Note' icon on any To Do item.
- Verify the tooltip is hovering, it is not flickering, and it is not covering the icon.
- Click the 'Create a New Note' icon.
- Verify a dialog to 'Create a New Note' has opened.
- Enter any comment in the dialog. Note the comment created.
- Click [Ok].
- Verify the icon is changed to a green check mark icon.
- Click the green check mark icon.
- Verify a dialog to 'Edit existing note' has opened and it contains the comment as created.
- Edit the comment. Note the updated comment.

Scenario 1: Form Designer - Form Layout Changes and Validation
Specific Setup:
- Have a form available with three or more fields on the form that can be used to make "Form Designer" changes to the form. [FormA]
Steps
- Open "Form Designer"
- Select [FormA]
- Select the desired section of the form to edit
- Click [Show Section]
- Click [FieldA] on the form layout and drag it to a new location
- Click [FieldB] on the form layout
- In the "General" properties box on the left panel, click the "Visible" check box
- Validate the field is removed from the layout
- Click [FieldC] on the form layout.
- In the "General" properties box on the left panel, click 'Edit' button next the "Text" field input box
- In the "Text Editor", enter a new name for the field label and click [Save]
- Validate the field label for [FieldC] reflects the new name
- Click the [Add New Subsection] button
- Validate a new subsection is present at the bottom of the form
- Click the [Save] button
- Click [Yes] to save the changes
- Click [OK] to form saved message
- Click [Submit] to submit and save the changes made
- Repeat steps 1 thru 3
- Validate the changes made in steps 4 thru 11 are present on the form layout
- Click [Cancel] and then [Yes] at the prompt
- Click [Discard] and then [Yes] to exit
- From the home view, search for [FormA]
- Open the form for any client
- Validate the changes made in steps 4 thru 11 are present on the form, as expected
- If desired, populate and submit the form
- Validate the form files successfully

Scenario 1: OE NX - Home Medications - Modify an order with no 'Days Supply'.
Specific Setup:
- The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Client Profile->->->Do NOT require 'Days Supply' in the Order Entry Console' registry setting must be set to "HM".
- The user logged into the application must have the 'Client Reported' checkbox checked in the 'Default to Client Reported in Home Medications' field in 'Order Entry User Definition'.
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- OrderConnect must be installed and configured to communicate with myAvatar and vice versa.
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)

System Security Defaults - Lock Screen Timeout (In Seconds)
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: NX- Lock Screen Timeout (In Seconds)
Steps
- Open 'System Security Defaults'.
- Note the value in 'Lock Screen Timeout (In Seconds)'.
- Click [Submit].
- Log out of the system.
- Log into the system.
- Open 'System Security Defaults'.
- Set the value of 'Lock Screen Timeout (In Seconds) to 20 seconds.
- Click [Submit].
- Do not log out of the system.
- Do not process anything in the system.
- Wait 20 seconds for the 'Lock' message.
- Validate that the 'Lock' message appears and contains a counter in seconds.
- Click [OK].
- Do not process anything in the system.
- Wait 20 seconds for the 'Lock' message.
- Validate that the 'Lock' message appears and contains a counter in 20 seconds.
- Do no click [OK].
- Wait for the counter on the 'Lock' message counter to reach zero.
- Validate that user is returned to the login screen and 'Locked' is displayed.
- Login with the same credentials.
- Click [Unlock].
- Validate that the user is logged into the system.
- Open 'System Security Defaults'.
- Set the value of 'Lock Screen Timeout (In Seconds)' to the original value noted in step 2.
- Click [Submit].
- Log out of the system.

Scheduling Calendar - 'Find New Appointment' and 'Find Existing Appointment'
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: Scheduling Calendar - Find Existing Appointment
Specific Setup:
- Must have one or more existing appointments scheduled for the current date.
Steps
- Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
- Click [Find Existing Appointments].
- Verify the 'Scheduling Calendar - Find Existing Appointment' window is displayed.
- Enter the current date in the 'Search Start Date' field.
- Click [Find Appointment].
- Verify the 'Find Existing Appointment' table is displayed.
- Select any existing appointment in the 'Find Existing Appointment' table.
- Click [OK].
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' is displayed and the existing appointment selected in the previous steps is highlighted.
- Click [Dismiss].
Scenario 2: Scheduling Calendar - Find New Appointment
Specific Setup:
- A client must be enrolled in an existing episode.
- A staff member must have hours defined for the current date.
Steps
- Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
- Click [Find New Appointment].
- Click [T] in the 'Search Start Date' field.
- Click [Find New Appointment].
- Validate a 'Find New Appointment' window is displayed with all available time slots.
- Select any available slot.
- Click [OK].
- Validate the 'Appointment Details' window is displayed.
- Validate the 'Appointment Site' field contains the site selected.
- Validate the 'Appointment Date' field contains the current date.
- Validate the 'Appointment Start Time' and 'Appointment End Time' fields contain the time selected.
- Enter the desired client in the 'Client' field.
- Enter the desired value in the 'Service Code' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the new appointment.
- Click [Dismiss].

Scenario 1: Avatar NX: 'Diagnosis' - Verification of form filing
Steps
- Open the "Diagnosis" form.
- Fill out a diagnosis record.
- Click the lightbulb on the "Show Active Only" field.
- Validate the Tool Tip Help message text is complete.
- Submit the form to diagnosis record.
Scenario 2: 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' - New Service note
Specific Setup:
- A client must be defined (Client A).
Steps
- Access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
- Select "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
- Select "New Service" in the 'Progress Note For' field.
- Select any value in the 'Note Type' field.
- Enter any value in the 'Notes Field' field.
- Click [T] in the 'Date Of Service' field.
- Click the up arrow in the 'Date Of Service' field.
- Validate a message is displayed stating: "Future Dates Not Permitted".
- Click [OK].
- Validate the 'Date Of Service' field contains the current date.
- Enter any service code in the 'Service Charge Code' field.
- Enter any value in the 'Service Duration' field.
- Select "Final" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit Note].

myAvatar NX 'All Documents' Widget
Scenario 1: All Documents Widget - Verification of Sort/Filter/Display and Client Selection
Specific Setup:
- This scenario is for Avatar NX systems only
- Registry Setting 'RADplus->General->-Enable Documentation Views' must be set to 'Y'
- A Documentation View must exist and assigned to a users view (ex. All Docs Test)
- Client record with have data filed in various forms (ex. 'Vitals Entry', 'Problem List', 'Diagnosis', 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)')
Steps
- From myAvatar home view, select client and navigate to the 'All Documents Widget' view.
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field if applicable to form/document (ex. 'All Episodes').
- Select the 'Documents' tab.
- Validate the columns for 'Form Name', 'Document Description', 'Document Date', and 'Document Episode' display as expected.
- Validate the 'Form Name' and 'Document Description' fields are consistent with the value from the 'Clinical Document Viewer' form.
- Select any row in the 'Form Name' column.
- Validate that the selected record displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
- Select any date from the 'Document Date' column filter.
- Select the filtered row and validate that the selected record displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
- Click [Clear Filters] button.
- Select the 'All Note Types' tab.
- Select any value from the 'Form Description' column filter (ex. 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)').
- Validate that the selected record displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
- Click [Clear Filters] button.
- Select the 'All Forms' tab.
- Select any value from the 'Form Description' column filter (ex. 'Problem List', 'Diagnosis').
- Select any row in the 'Form Description' column.
- Validate that the selected record displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
- Click [Close All] widget button.
- Click [Clear Filters] widget button.
- Select different/additional client for view (via 'My Clients' menu and/or client search).
- Ensure 'All Documents' widget content is cleared on selection of different/additional client, and does not display document listings/documents from previously selected/active client.
- Select form in 'All Documents' widget; ensure that only records/data for currently active/selected client are displayed.
- Select existing document/record row in 'All Documents' widget; ensure that record/form for currently active/selected client is displayed.
- Switch back to previous/original client for view (via 'My Clients' menu and/or client search).
- Ensure 'All Documents' widget content (record listing and/or document viewer) is returned to records/document for original client selection.
- Ensure that switching between two or more active/selected clients refreshes the records/documents displayed in 'All Documents' widget to display only records/documents for the currently selected/active client in record listing and/or document viewer.

- Open the 'Treatment Plan' form
- Set the 'desired client' in the 'Select Client' field
- Select the 'desired episode' in the 'Episode' field
- Select the 'desired plan date' in the 'Plan Date' field
- Click [Edit]
- Click [Launch Plan]
- Click [Add New Problem]
- Set the 'desired problem' in the 'Problem Code' field
- Select the 'desired problem'
- Select "Active" from the 'Status (Problem List)' field
- Set the 'desired problem' in the 'Problem' field
- Select "Active" from the 'Status' field
- Click [Delete Selected Item]
- Validate the 'text' contains "Deleted 1 item successfully."
- Click [OK]
- Click [Add New Problem]

Deselecting a client while in the 'eMAR' widget
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: NX - Suppressing Administration times in eMAR
Specific Setup:
- A pharmacy-type order code must have "50" in the 'Suppress eMAR Tasks if More Frequent than Every N Minutes' field. (TYLENOL WITH CODEINE NO.3)
- Two clients must have an active inpatient episode. (Client A) and (Client B)
- "Client A" and "Client B" must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
- "Client A" must have an existing pharmacy-type order in the Order Entry Console (Orders This Episode section). (TYLENOL WITH CODEINE NO. 3)

Steps
- Select “Client A” and access the ‘eMAR’ widget.
- Remain on the ‘Medications’ tab.
- Validate that an order for "TYLENOL WITH CODEINE NO. 3" is displayed with no hours of administration under the current date.
- Right-click in the ‘Order Description’ for the “TYLENOL WITH CODEINE NO. 3" order and select ‘Edit Hours of Administration’.
- Verify the ‘Administration Record - Hours of Administration’ dialog displays and contains no ‘Administration Time(s)’ selected and click [OK].
- Click [Clear Client].
- Validate the ‘Avatar eMAR’ widget does not contain order information or client information for “Client A”.
- Select “Client B” and validate that an order for "ALEVE (NAPROXEN SODIUM) 220 MG ORAL" is displayed with no hours of administration under the current date.
- Click [Clear Client].
- Validate the ‘Avatar eMAR’ widget does not contain order information or client information for “Client B”.
- Select “Client A" and validate that an order for "TYLENOL WITH CODEINE NO. 3" is displayed with no hours of administration under the current date.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: OE NX - Orders This Episode - Schedule III - New, and Discontinue
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- Client A must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A” and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for "Xyrem" in the 'New Order' field and clear out the value before the search has completed.
- Validate the 'New Order' field is blank.
- Search for and select "XYREM (SODIUM OXYBATE) 500 MG/1 ML SOLUTION ORAL" in the 'New Order' field.
- Set the ‘Dose’ field to "1".
- Select "MG" in the ‘Dose Unit’ field.
- Select "TWICE A DAY" from the ‘Frequency’ field.
- Validate the 'Route' field contains "ORAL".
- Hover over the 'Route' field and validate the flyover contains "ORAL".
- Validate the 'Form' field contains "Solution".
- Hover over the 'Form' field and validate the flyover contains "Solution".
- Set the 'Route' field to "OTHER RESPIRATORY MAR".
- Hover over the 'Route' field and validate the flyover contains "OTHER RESPIRATORY MAR".
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains an order for "Xyrem".
- Select the order for "Xyrem" and click [D/C], [Add to Scratchpad], and [Sign].
- Validate there are no orders in the 'Order grid'.

Scenario 1: Validate Undocked Scheduling Calendar
Specific Setup:
- A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
- A staff member must have hours defined for scheduling.
Steps
- Click [Launch Scheduling Calendar] in the 'Control Panel'.
- Validate the undocked 'Scheduling Calendar' is displayed in a new browser window.
- Right click on any available time slot.
- Click [Add Appointment].
- Enter any value in the 'Service Code' form.
- Enter any client in the 'Client' field.
- Select any episode in the 'Episode Number' field.
- Select any program in the 'Program' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the appointment created in the previous steps.
- Right click on the appointment and click [Check In].
- Click [Submit] to check in the appointment.
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the checked in appointment.
- Right click on the appointment and click [Check Out].
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the checked out appointment.
- Click [Dismiss].
Scenario 2: Validate Undocked Forms/Widgets
Specific Setup:
- One or more clients enrolled in existing episodes.
- One or more scheduled appointments exist.
Steps
- Click [Undock Scheduling Calendar] in the 'Control Panel',
- Validate the undocked 'Scheduling Calendar' is displayed.
- Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains any scheduled appointments.
- Click [Dismiss].
- Access the 'Avatar eMAR' View.
- Click [Avatar eMAR Undock Widget].
- Validate the undocked 'Avatar eMAR' widget is displayed.
- Select any client and navigate back to the undocked 'Avatar eMAR' widget.
- Validate the 'Latest Client Information' field contains the selected client's information.
- Close the window.
- Access the 'AR Console' View.
- Click [Accounts Receivable Console Undock Widget].
- Validate the undocked 'AR Console' widget is displayed.
- Enter any user in the 'User Defaults' field.
- Click [Search].
- Validate the 'Claims with Outstanding Receivables grid contains all claims with outstanding receivables.
- Close the window.
