Force Specific User To Logoff - User Connection
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Treatment Plan
  • Force Specific User To Logoff
  • Netsmart Avatar NX
  • Diagnosis
  • Embedded IMO Search Dialog
Scenario 1: Treatment Plan - File a Treatment Plan with Document Routing
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be admitted into an active episode with problems recorded in 'Problem List' form (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
  2. Click [Add].
  3. Set the 'Plan Date' field to the current date.
  4. Select any value in the 'Plan Type' field.
  5. Select any value from 'Problem List'.
  6. Enter any value in the 'Strengths' field.
  7. Enter any value in the 'Weakness' field.
  8. Enter any value in the 'Discharge Planning' field.
  9. Select "Draft" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  10. Click [Launch Plan].
  11. Select the problem from the 'Tree View'.
  12. Select any value from the Status field.
  13. Click [Add New Goal].
  14. Enter any value (a large amount of data) in the 'Goal' field.
  15. Validate that the data wraps correctly and displays as expected.
  16. Select any value from the Status field.
  17. Click [Add New Objective].
  18. Enter any value (a large amount of data) in the 'Objective' field.
  19. Validate that the data wraps correctly and displays as expected.
  20. Select any value from the Status field.
  21. Click [Add New Intervention].
  22. Enter any value in the 'Intervention' field.
  23. Select any value from the Status field.
  24. Click [Return to Plan].
  25. Select "Final" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
  26. Click [Submit] and [Sign].
  27. Enter your password in the 'Enter Password' field and click [Verify].
Scenario 2: Force Specific User to Logoff
Specific Setup:
  • User must have access to the 'Force Specific User To Logoff' form.
Steps
  1. Open 'Force Specific User To Logoff' form.
  2. Validate that only one user session per user displays in the 'User' field.
  3. Select any user from the 'User' field (ex. your login).
  4. Set the 'Logoff Message' field to any value (ex. User will be logged off in (Seconds)).
  5. Set the 'Number Of Minutes Until Logoff' field to any value (ex.1).
  6. Click [Force Specific User To Logoff].
  7. Validate that a System Message is displayed stating "User will be logged off in (Seconds)".
  8. Validate that you are logged off as expected and returned to the Login page after the designated time elapsed.
Scenario 3: Undocked Diagnosis form - Validate Add Multiple Search
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client A).
  • Registry setting: Avatar PM->Client Information->Diagnosis->->->Enable Multiple Diagnosis Search must be set to "Yes"
Steps
  1. Select Client A from the 'My Clients' list and navigate to the 'Diagnosis' form.
  2. Click [Undock].
  3. Select “Admission” in "Type of Diagnosis".
  4. Validate that "Date Of Diagnosis" is auto-filled with admission date.
  5. Set the "Time of Diagnosis" field to any time.
  6. Click [New Row].
  7. Set "Diagnosis Search" to any diagnosis.
  8. Validate that the multiple diagnosis search screen displays as expected.
  9. Select a diagnosis from the search list.
  10. Validate that "Status" is “Active”.
  11. Validate that "Ranking" is “Primary”.
  12. Validate that "Bill Order" is “1”.
  13. Validate that “Present On Admission Indicator” is “Yes”.
  14. Select any value from the "Classification" drop down list field.
  15. Select any practitioner from the "Diagnosing Practitioner" field.
  16. Click [Submit].

OE NX - Order Entry Console - Tab Selection
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Home Medications
Scenario 1: OE NX - Home Medications - Active and Expired orders
Specific Setup:
  • The user logged into the application must have the 'Client Reported' checkbox checked in the 'Default to Client Reported in Home Medications' field in 'Order Entry User Definition'.
  • Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
  • A client must have an active inpatient episode. (Client A)
  • A client must have an active outpatient episode as Episode 1 and an active inpatient episode as Episode 2. (Client B)
  • “Client A” and "Client B" must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
  • "Client A" has an active 'Home Medications' order for "traZODone hydrochloride 100 MG Tablet Oral" and two expired 'Home Medications' orders for "Ambien 10 MG Tablet Oral (Schedule IV)" and "Furosemide 80 MG Tablet Oral".
  • "Client B" has an active 'Home Medications' order for "Lisinopril 10 MG Tablet Oral".
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
  3. Uncheck the 'Client Reported' checkbox.
  4. Select "Active + Expired" in the 'Status' field.
  5. Validate that the following orders are displayed:
  6. An active order for "traZODone hydrochloride 100 MG ORAL Tablet"
  7. An expired order for "Furosemide 80 MG ORAL Tablet"
  8. An expired order for "Ambien 10 MG ORAL Tablet (Schedule IV)".
  9. Select "Client B" and validate that the 'Orders This Episode' tab is displayed.
  10. Double click the 'Home Medications' tab.
  11. Validate that an active order for "Lisinopril 10 MG ORAL Tablet" is displayed.
  12. Select "Episode #1" in the 'Header Episode' field.
  13. Validate that an active order for "Lisinopril 10 MG ORAL Tablet" is displayed.
  14. Select "Episode #2" in the 'Header Episode' field.
  15. Double click the 'Admission Med Reconciliation' tab.
  16. Validate the 'Home Medications (Pre-Admission)' grid contains an order for "Lisinopril 10 MG ORAL Tablet".
  17. Double click the 'Admission Med Reconciliation' tab.
  18. Validate the 'Home Medications Scratchpad (Post Discharge)' grid contains an order for "Lisinopril 10 MG ORAL Tablet".

Dynamic Form Display
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Change Current Password
  • User Failed Authentication Question
Scenario 1: Validate user login after a password change
Specific Setup:
  • Have a user who has had their password reset to a temporary password in form "User Definition".
  • The user has access to form "Change Current Password"
  • User is at the Avatar login screen
Steps
  1. Populate the "System Code"field
  2. Populate the "Username" field
  3. Populate the "Password" field with the temporary password
  4. Click [Sign In]
  5. Click [OK] to the message stating the password must be reset
  6. Populate the "New Password" field with a new password
  7. Re-enter the password in "Re-enter New Password" field
  8. Click [Sign In]
  9. Open form "Change Current Password"
  10. Populate the "Current Password" field
  11. Populate the "New Password" field with a new password
  12. Re-enter the password in "Re-enter New Password" field
  13. Click [Submit]
  14. Click [Sign Out]
  15. At the login screen, populate the "System Code"field
  16. Populate the "Username" field
  17. Populate the "Password" field with the new password
  18. Click [Sign In]
  19. Validate sign in is successful
Scenario 2: User Failed Authentication Question Validation
Specific Setup:
  • Have form 'System Generated Email Settings' populated and submitted successfully
  • Have form 'User Failed Authentication Question' populated for a user with a "Failed Authentication" question/answer and their email address defined on the form
  • User is at the login screen
Steps
  1. Log in as the user
  2. Populate the "System Code" field
  3. Populate the "Username" field
  4. Enter an incorrect password
  5. Validate a message stating "You have entered an invalid password. Do you wish to answer your failed authentication question", is displayed.
  6. Click [OK]
  7. Validate the user question displays successfully
  8. Enter an incorrect response
  9. Validate a message "Your answer is not correct" is displayed
  10. Click [OK]
  11. Validate the user is returned to the login screen
  12. Enter the correct response
  13. Click [OK]
  14. Validate the message " An Email will be sent to you containing your new system password" is displayed
  15. Click [OK]
  16. Have the user log into his email account
  17. Validate an email with a temporary password is present
  18. Copy the password
  19. Return to the login screen
  20. Paste in the temporary password in the password box
  21. Click [OK]
  22. Validate a message "Your current password is system generated.You must enter a new password", is displayed
  23. Click [OK]
  24. At the "new password entry" screen
  25. Populate the "Enter new password" field
  26. Populate the "Re-enter new password" field
  27. Click [OK]
  28. Validate the user is logged in successfully
