Scheduling Calendar Check In/Status Update - Group Appointments
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Scheduling Calendar - Status Update
Scenario 1: 'Scheduling Calendar': Add New, Check- In, and Check Out Individual and Group Appointments
Specific Setup:
  • Client A must be enrolled in an existing episode.
  • Practitioner A must be enrolled and have hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Group must exist with at least two group members (Group A)
  • A group appointment must exist for Group A.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  2. Set 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field to "Pre Payment Default Posting Code".
  3. Click [View Registry].
  4. Select the 'Pre Payment Default Posting Code' registry setting.
  5. Click [OK]
  6. Set the 'Registry Setting Value' field to any posting code (ex. 101).
  7. Click [Submit Form].
  8. Validate that a Registry Editor Filing message is displayed stating: "Successful filing".
  9. Click [OK].
  10. Validate that a Form Return message is displayed stating: Submitting has completed. Do you wish to return to form?
  11. Click [Yes].
  12. Set the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field to "Pre Payment Service Code".
  13. Click [View Registry Settings].
  14. Select "Pre Payment Service Code" registry setting.
  15. Click [OK].
  16. Set the 'Registry Setting Value' field to any service code (ex. 600).
  17. Click [Submit Form].
  18. Validate that a 'Registry Editor Filing' message is displayed stating: "Successful filing".
  19. Click [OK].
  20. Validate that a 'Form Return' message is displayed stating: "Submitting has completed. Do you wish to return to form?"
  21. Click [No].
  22. Navigate to the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  23. Right click on the group appointment for Group A.
  24. Click 'Status Update'.
  25. Validate the Group Member Selection box is displayed.
  26. Select any group member(s).
  27. Click [Ok].
  28. Select "Yes" in the 'Confirmed' field.
  29. Enter any value in the 'Confirmed Notes' field.
  30. Click [Submit].
  31. Right click on the group appointment for Group A.
  32. Validate that the 'Confirmed' disposition icon is displayed next to the group members confirmed appointment.
  33. Click [Cancel].
  34. Right click on the group appointment for Group A.
  35. Click [Check In].
  36. Select any group member(s).
  37. Click [Ok].
  38. Set the 'Amount Received At Check In' field to any amount.
  39. Validate that the 'Checked In' disposition icon is displayed next to the group members confirmed appointment.
  40. Validate that the 'Payment Code' field contains the payment associated to the posting code defined in the 'Pre Payment Default Code' registry setting.
  41. Click [Submit].
  42. Right click on the group appointment for Group A.
  43. Validate that the 'Check In' disposition icon is displayed next to the group members that have been checked in.
  44. Click [Cancel].
  45. Right click on the group appointment for Group A.
  46. Click [Check Out].
  47. Select any group member(s).
  48. Click [Ok].
  49. Validate that the 'Appointment(s) to Check Out field contains the appointment for that group member.
  50. Click [Submit].
  51. Validate that the 'Checked Out/Posted' disposition icon is displayed on the group appointment.
Scenario 2: Scheduling Calendar: Update an individual appointment status to canceled validating removal and Calendar refresh
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be enrolled in an Active episode (Client A).
  • Appointment Status Dictionary (PM - Client- Data element 10005) extended dictionary data element - 'Display as Free Time" must be set to "Yes"
Steps
  1. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  2. Right click on Client A's appointment.
  3. Click [Status Update].
  4. Select any value (ex. Canceled or No Show)" from the 'Appointment Status' field.
  5. Click [Submit].
  6. Validate that the appointment for Client A no longer appears on the scheduling calendar.
  7. Click [Dismiss].
