Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Vitals Entry
Scenario 1: Vitals Entry - add vitals
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Vitals Entry' form for "Client A".
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit/Delete Vital Sign' field. Validate the dictionary values display in the following order: "Add", "Edit", Delete".
  3. Populate all required and desired vitals.
  4. Select the desired value in the 'Position' field. Validate the dictionary values display in the following order: "Sitting", "Lying", "Standing".
  5. Submit the form.

Scenario 1: Validate Timezone displays on TIFF images
Specific Setup:
  • Client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client A).
  • User must be associated with a staff member (Staff A).
Steps
  1. Select any client and access any 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form that has 'Document Routing' enabled.
  2. Select any episode from the 'Episode Selection' field.
  3. Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
  4. Select any note type from the 'Note Type' field.
  5. Set the 'Notes Field' field to any value to include special text characters (ex. ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖרÙÚÛÜÝ).
  6. Complete the remaining required fields.
  7. Select "Final" from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  8. Click [Submit Note].
  9. Validate that the time zone displays in the correct format as expected.
  10. Click the [Sign and Route/Notify] and enter the logged in user's password in the 'Password' field.
  11. Click [Verify].
  12. Select any supervisor from the 'Supervisor' field and click [Add].
  13. Select a different supervisor from the 'Supervisor' field and click [Add].
  14. Validate that a 'Confirm' dialog is displayed stating "Any Supervisor" is the current supervisor in the list. Would you like to replace "Any Supervisor" with "Another Supervisor"?
  15. Click [Yes].
  16. Validate that the approver list updated as expected.
  17. Select the original supervisor from the 'Supervisor' field and click [Add].
  18. Validate that a 'Confirm' dialog is displayed stating "Any Supervisor" is the current supervisor in the list. Would you like to replace "Any Supervisor" with "Another Supervisor"?
  19. Click [Yes].
  20. Click [Submit].
  21. Validate that a 'Progress Notes' dialog is displayed stating 'Note Filed' and click [Ok].
  22. Click [Discard].

Site Registration - Add a recurring Holiday

Scenario 1: Site Registration - Adding a recurring holiday
Specific Setup:
  • A site must be defined in the 'Site Registration' form.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Site Registration' form.
  2. Select any value from the 'Select Site' field.
  3. Click [Site Holidays].
  4. Click [New Row].
  5. Select any "Recurring" in the 'Recurring or Individual' field.
  6. Select any value from the 'Recurrence Pattern' field (ex. Yearly).
  7. Select any date from the 'Holiday Date' field.
  8. Select any value from the '# of Sessions or Date Range' field (ex. 1)
  9. Select any value from the '# of Sessions' field.
  10. Enter any value in the 'Holiday Description' field.
  11. Select any value from the 'Closed for Entire Day of For Selected Time' field.
  12. Select any value from the 'Specific Date or Other' field.
  13. Select any value from the 'Day Of Yearly Recurrence Pattern' (ex. Monday).
  14. Select any value from the 'Frequency of Selected Day' field.
  15. Select any value from the 'Month' field.
  16. Click [Save] and [Submit].
  17. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  18. Navigate to the newly created holiday and validate that the date is blocked and you are unable to schedule any appointments.

Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Set the 'New Order' field to "Ventilator".
  3. Select "Daily" in the 'Frequency' field.
  4. Validate the 'Vent Mode' field is required.
  5. Select "(S)CMV+" in the 'Vent Mode' field.
  6. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.Vent Rate (bpm)' field is required.
  7. Set this field to "10".
  8. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.Tidal Volume (ml)' field is required.
  9. Set this field to "9"
  10. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.PEEP/CPAP (cmH2O)' field is required.
  11. Set this field to "4".
  12. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.FIO2 (%)' field is required.
  13. Set the 'Duration' field to "5" and click [Days].
  14. Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the current date.
  15. Validate the 'Start Time' field contains the current time.
  16. Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains a date that is five days in the future of the 'Start Date'.
  17. Validate the 'Stop Time' field contains a time that is one minute prior to the 'Start Time'.
  18. Click [Add to Scratchpad].
  19. Validate the "Ventilator" order appears in the 'Scratchpad with a red flag in the 'Action' column.
  20. Select the order in the 'Scratchpad'.
  21. Set the 'Ventilator Settings.FIO2 (%)' field to "40" and click [Update Order].
  22. Validate that the "Ventilator" order no longer has a red flag in the 'Action' column.
  23. Click [Sign].
  24. Validate the 'Order grid' contains the order for "Ventilator - Vent Mode: (S)CMV+ - Daily".
  25. Create a report using the 'OrderEntry.hx_vent_mode' table and include all fields.
  26. Filter the report by selecting the 'Order #' of the order that was just created in the 'order_unique_id' field.
  27. Validate that 'vent_mode_code' contains "(S)CMV+".
  28. Validate that 'vent_mode_value' contains "(S)CMV+".
  29. Create a report using the 'OrderEntry.hx_vent_settings' table and include all fields.
  30. Filter the report by selecting the 'Order #' of the order that was just created in the 'order_unique_id' field.
  31. Validate that four rows are displayed, one for each vent setting.
  32. Validate that 'vent_setting_answer' is "10" for row 1.
  33. Validate that 'vent_setting_code' is "Vent-Rate" for row 1.
  34. Validate that 'vent_setting_value' is "Vent Rate (bpm)" for row 1.
  35. Validate that 'vent_setting_answer' is "9" for row 2.
  36. Validate that 'vent_setting_code' is "Tidal-volume" for row 2.
  37. Validate that 'vent_setting_value' is "Tidal Volume (ml)" for row 2.
  38. Validate that 'vent_setting_answer' is "4" for row 3.

  46. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.Tidal Volume (ml)' field contains "9".
  47. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.PEEP/CPAP (cmH2O)' field contains "4".
  48. Validate the 'Ventilator Settings.FIO2 (%)' field contains "40".
  49. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  50. Validate that an 'Interactions' dialog is displayed.
  51. Override the interaction and click [Save Override and Exit].
  52. Validate the 'Order grid' contains two orders for "Ventilator - Vent Mode: (S)CMV+ - Daily".
  53. Refresh the report created using the 'OrderEntry.hx_vent_mode' table.
  54. Filter the report by selecting the 'Order #' of the new order that was just created in the 'order_unique_id' field.
  55. Validate that 'vent_mode_code' contains "(S)CMV+".

Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Ventilator" in the 'New Order' field.
  3. Select "Continuous" in the 'Frequency' field.
  4. Select "(S)CMV+" in the 'Vent Mode' field.
  5. Set the 'Pressure Support (cmH2O)' field to "10".
  6. Set the 'PEEP/CPAP' field to "9".
  7. Set the 'FIO2(%)' field to "4".
  8. Set the 'Time High (seconds)' field to "40".
  9. Fill in all other required fields.
  10. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  11. Validate the 'Order grid' contains the "Ventilator" order.
  12. Select the order and click [Copy].
  13. Validate the 'Vent Mode' field contains "(S)CMV+"
  14. Validate the 'Pressure Support (cmH2O)' field is equal to "10".
  15. Validate the 'PEEP/CPAP' field is equal to "9".
  16. Validate the 'FIO2(%)' field is equal to "4".
  17. Validate the 'Time High (seconds)' field is equal to "40".
  18. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  19. Validate the 'Interactions' dialog is displayed.

Steps
  1. Access the 'Delete Claim' form.
  2. Select any date from the Date Of Claim' field (ex. today's date).
  3. Select 'Interim Batch' from the 'Delete Claim By' field.
  4. Select any value from the 'Interim Batch Number/837 File' field.
  5. Select 'None' from the 'Default All Or None' field.
