Documentation View - Full Screen View
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- View Definition
- NX View Definition
Scenario 1: 'View Definition' - Allow User To Customize View (Avatar NX)
Specific Setup:
- User must have access to the 'View Definition' form.
- The registry setting RADplus->General->->->->Enable Documentation Views must be set to "Yes".
Steps
- Access the 'View Definition' form.
- Click [Select View].
- Select any view from the 'Select Views' field.
- Click [OK].
- Select "No" from the 'Allow User To Customize View' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a form return dialog displays stating "View Definition has completed. Do you wish to return to form?".
- Click [No].
- Navigate to the view previously filed view.
- Validate that the 'Customize' button is disabled and a message is displayed stating "View is not configured to allow customization"
- Access the 'View Definition' form.
- Click [Select View].
- Select any view from the 'Select Views' field (ex. previously filed view).
- Click [OK].
- Select "Yes" from the 'Allow User To Customize View' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a form return dialog displays stating "View Definition has completed. Do you wish to return to form?".
- Click [No].
- Navigate to the view previously filed view.
- Validate that the 'Customize' button is enabled.
- Click [Customize].
- Validate that the widgets can be moved and resized as expected.
- Click [Customize].
- Validate that the view's layout appears as expected after customization.
- Access the 'View Definition' form.
- Click [Select View].
- Select any 'Documentation' view from the 'Select Views' field.
- Click [OK].
- Validate that the 'Allow User To Customize View' field is set to "No" and is disabled.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a form return dialog displays stating "View Definition has completed. Do you wish to return to form?".
- Click [No].
- Navigate to the view previously filed view.
- Validate that the 'Customize' button is disabled.
- Validate that the view's layout appears as expected.
Scenario 2: View Defintion - Documentation View
Specific Setup:
- The registry setting RADplus->General->->->->Enable Documentation Views must be set to "Yes".
- An 'All Documents Widget' must be configured in the 'All Documents Widget Definition' form.
Steps
- Access the 'View Definition' form.
- Click [Select View].
- Select "Add New" from the 'Select Views' field.
- Set the 'View Description' to any value (ex. Documentation View).
- Select 'Documentation View' from the 'View Type' field.
- Select any value from the 'All Documents Widget' field (ex."Primary All Documents Widget").
- Click [Submit].
- Access the 'NX View Definition' form.
- Select any value from the 'User or Role' field.
- Select any value from the 'Select User' field.
- Click [Additional myDay Views].
- Select the newly created view from the 'Select Additional Views' field.
- Click [OK] and [File].
- Click [Discard].
- Validate that a 'Confirm Close' message is displayed stating: "Are you sure you want to Close without saving?"
- Click [Yes].
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and navigate to the newly created 'Documentation View'.
- Validate that the 'All Documents Widget' and Console Widget Viewer' display as expected and are full screen.
- Select any row from the 'All Documents' widget.
- Validate that the data appears as expected in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
