Data Element Help Messages
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Data Element Help Message Definition (CWS)
- Individual Progress Note
Scenario 1: Data Element Help Message Definition - Create and validate a new help message.
Specific Setup:
- User must have access to the form 'Data Element Help Message Definition' in 'User Definition'.
- Client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client A).
Steps
- Access the 'Data Element Help Message Definition' form.
- Select any value from the 'File' field (ex. "CWS").
- Select any value from the 'Data Element' field (ex. "Draft/Final - 50010").
- Set the 'Data Element Help Message' field to any value (ex. "All required fields must be completed before selecting 'Final'").
- Click [File Data Element Help Message].
- Validate that a "Confirm" dialog message is displayed stating "Help message filed."
- Click [OK].
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and access any form that contains the 'Draft/Final' field (ex. 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)').
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
- Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
- Select any note type from the 'Note Type' field.
- Complete the remaining required fields.
- Select any value from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click the [Help Message] icon.
- Validate the 'Help Message' a text contains the value configured in the Data Element Help Message Definition' form ( "All required fields must be completed before selecting 'Final'").
- Click [Return To Form].
- Click [Submit Note].

Required fields - Validation Flags
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: Required Field Validation - Draft /Final
Specific Setup:
- A form must exist with field requirements upon submitting in 'Draft' or 'Final' status.
- A client must be enrolled in an active episode (Client A).
Steps
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and access any assessment form (ex. Suicide/Risk Assessment).
- Select any episode from the 'Episode PreDisplay'.
- Click [Add].
- Select 'Draft' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a filing message dialog is displayed stating "The following fields are missing: 'Date'".
- Click [Ok].
- Validate that a red validation flag appears next to the missing required field.
- Select any date from the 'Date' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and access any assessment form (ex. Suicide/Risk Assessment).
- Select any episode from the 'Episode PreDisplay'.
- Select the previously filed 'Draft' assessment and click [Edit].
- Complete the form without entering data in 2 of the required fields.
- Select 'Final' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Validate that the 'Draft/Final' dialog contains the (2) required field names that are missing data.
- Click [Ok].
- Validate that dialog is displayed stating "'Final' cannot be selected until all of the required prompts within the form contain information".
- Click [Ok].
- Validate that red validation flags appears next to the missing required field(s).
- Set any value in the missing required fields.
- Select "Final" from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Validate that a dialog is displayed stating "Selecting 'Final' prevents future edits".
- Click [Ok].
- Click [Submit].

Progress Notes (Group and Individual) - Group Default Note
Scenario 1: Scheduling Calendar: Open and file the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' from the 'Scheduling Calendar'
Specific Setup:
- Client A must be enrolled in an existing outpatient episode and have an appointment scheduled.
- User must have Progress Notes Group and Individual Form assigned to them under 'Select Forms' in the 'Appointment Scheduling' section of 'User Definition'.
Steps
- Access 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
- Right click on the appointment for "Client A".
- Select any 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
- Validate that the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form opens and you are on the 'Individual Progress Notes' tab.
- Select the 'Begin Group Note' tab.
- Validate that a message is displayed stating "Section is disabled. Please use the menu to enter group default notes."
- Click [OK].
- Validate that "Client A" displays in the 'Client ID' field.
- Validate that the episode from that the appointment was scheduled for displays in the 'Select Episode' field.
- Validate the 'Progress Note Fo'r field contains "Existing Appointment".
- Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
- Enter any text in the 'Notes Field'.
- Select any value from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit Note].
- Validate that a Progress Notes message is displayed stating "Note Filed"
- Click [OK].

Scenario 1: Widget Definition / Widget Wizard - Staff ID based widgets
Specific Setup:
- A 'Widget Definition' or 'Widget Wizard' widget for 'Staff ID' must exist with the ability to be undocked and be assigned to a view.
- A user must have access to the view that contains the Staff widget (User A).
Steps
- Click [User Menu].
- Select "Preferences" from the 'User Menu' field.
- Select 'Enable Staff tab' from the 'Preferences' screen.
- Click [Save].
- Click [Logout].
- Login and enter the username and password for "User A".
- Select any view that has the Staff widget assigned for User A.
- Click [Clients].
- Select the 'Staff' tab.
- Select any staff member from the 'staff list'.
- Validate the 'Staff' widget contains the staff information for the selected staff member.
- Select any staff member from the 'staff list'.
- Validate that the 'Staff' widget contains the staff information for the newly selected staff member.
- Click [Undock].
- Validate that the widget successfully launches in a new browser window.
- Select any staff member from the 'staff list'.
- Validate the 'Staff' widget contains the staff information for the selected staff member.
- Select any staff member from the 'staff list'.
- Validate that the 'Staff' widget contains the staff information for the newly selected staff member.
- Close the undocked widget's browser window and validate that the docked 'Staff' widget displays the staff information for the selected staff member.

Specific Setup:
- User must have access to the 'View Definition' form.
Steps
- Access the 'View Definition' form.
- Click [Select View].
- Select any view from the 'Select Views' field.
- Click [OK].
- Select "No" from the 'Allow User To Customize View' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a form return dialog displays stating "View Definition has completed. Do you wish to return to form?".
- Click [No].
- Navigate to the view previously filed view.
- Validate that the 'Customize' button is disabled and a message is displayed stating "View is not configured to allow customization"
- Access the 'View Definition' form.
- Click [Select View].
- Select any view from the 'Select Views' field (ex. previously filed view).
- Click [OK].
- Select "Yes" from the 'Allow User To Customize View' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a form return dialog displays stating "View Definition has completed. Do you wish to return to form?".
- Click [No].
- Navigate to the view previously filed view.
- Validate that the 'Customize' button is enabled.
- Click [Customize].
- Validate that the widgets can be moved and resized as expected.
- Click [Customize].
- Validate that the view's layout appears as expected after customization.

Specific Setup:
- 'My Calendar' and 'Coming in Today' widgets are on the HomeView.
- A client must be defined (Client A).
- "Client A" must have an appointment scheduled for the current date.
- A user that is associated to a staff member must be configured with an appointment scheduled with "Client A" for the current date (User A).
- "User A" must be configured with 'Select Forms' from the 'Appointment Scheduling' tab of 'User Definition'.
Steps
- Navigate to the 'My Calendar' widget.
- Click [Undock].
- Validate that the appointment for "Client A" is displayed.
- Right click on the appointment.
- Click [Select Client].
- Validate that "Client A" is in context.
- Click [Launch Chart].
- Validate that the 'Client Dashboard' opens for "Client A".
- Click [Close].
- Click any form that is configured for this user in 'Select Forms' from the 'Appointment Scheduling' tab of 'User Definition' (ex. 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)').
- Validate that form opens with the information from "Client A's" appointment (ex. Client ID, Episode Number, Service Code).

- Set the 'Dose' field to "2".
- Select "TABLET" from the 'Dose Unit' field.
- Select "TWICE A DAY" from the 'Freq' field.
- Set the Duration field to "12" and click [Days].
- Click [Add to Scratchpad].

- Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
- Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
- Enter any value in the 'Notes Field'.
- Select 'Final' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit Note].
- Click [Sign and Route].
- Enter the logged in users password in the 'Verify Password' field.
- Click [Verify].
- Select any staff member in the 'Supervisor' field (ex. Staff member associated to logged in user).
- Click [Add].
- Validate that a 'Note Filed' dialog is displayed.
- Click [Ok].
- Click [Discard].
- Access the 'My To Do' widget.
- Locate the 'To Do' that was previously sent from 'Documents to Sign'.
- Validate that the 'To Do' display's the name and PAT ID of the client.

- Select any staff member from the 'Staff' field.
- Select and review the 'To Do's' for the selected staff member.
- Click [Accept].

- Click [Sign].
- Set the 'Password' field to the password of the current logged in user.
- Click [Verify].
- Click [(Reset)].
- Validate that the 'To Do' widget displays the 'To Do's' for the current logged in user as expected.

- Select any episode from the 'Episode Selection' field.
- Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
- Select any note type from the 'Note Type' field.
- Set the 'Notes Field' field to any value to include special text characters (ex. ÀÁÂÃÄÅÆÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖרÙÚÛÜÝ).
- Complete the remaining required fields.
- Select "Final" from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit Note].
- Click the [Sign and Route/Notify] and enter the logged in user's password in the 'Password' field.
- Click [Verify].
- Select any supervisor from the 'Supervisor' field and click [Add].
- Select a different supervisor from the 'Supervisor' field and click [Add].
- Validate that a 'Confirm' dialog is displayed stating "Any Supervisor" is the current supervisor in the list. Would you like to replace "Any Supervisor" with "Another Supervisor"?
- Click [Yes].
- Validate that the approver list updated as expected.
- Select the original supervisor from the 'Supervisor' field and click [Add].
- Validate that a 'Confirm' dialog is displayed stating "Any Supervisor" is the current supervisor in the list. Would you like to replace "Any Supervisor" with "Another Supervisor"?
- Click [Yes].
- Click [Submit].

Specific Setup:
- User must have access to the 'Form Designer' form.
- A client must be admitted to an active episode (Client A).
Steps
- Access the 'Form Designer' form.
- Select any value from the 'Forms' field.
- Select any value from the 'Sections' field.
- Click [Show Section].
- Validate that the section displays all the fields as expected.
- Click [Cancel]
- Select any value from the 'Sections' field.
- Click [Show Section].
- Validate that the section displays all the fields as expected.
- Click [Save] and [Submit].
- Access the 'Admission' form.
- Set the 'Last Name' field to any value.

- Click [Add].
- Set the 'Plan Date' field to the current date.
- Select any value in the 'Plan Type' field.
- Select any value from 'Problem List'.
- Enter any value in the 'Strengths' field.
- Enter any value in the 'Weakness' field.
- Enter any value in the 'Discharge Planning' field.
- Select "Draft" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Launch Plan].
- Select the problem from the 'Tree View'.
- Select any value from the Status field.
- Click [Add New Goal].
- Enter any value in the 'Goal' field.

- Practitioner must exist with Document to approve ToDo's on their 'To Do' widget. (Practitioner A).
Steps
- Select any client from the 'My Clients' list and access any 'Progress Note' form (ex. 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual')).
- Select any value from the ' Select Episode' field.
- Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
- Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
- Enter any value in the 'Notes Field'.
- Select 'Final' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
- Click [Submit Note].
- Click [Sign and Route].
- Enter the logged in users password in the 'Verify Password' field.
- Click [Verify].
- Select any staff member in the 'Supervisor' field (ex. Staff member associated to logged in user).
- Click [Add].
- Validate that a 'Note Filed' dialog is displayed.

- Access the 'My To Do' widget.
- Locate the 'To Do' that was previously sent from 'Documents to Sign'.
- Validate that the 'To Do' display's the name and PAT ID of the client.
- Click [Review] [Accept], and [Sign].
- Enter the logged in users password in the 'Verify Password' field.
- Click [Verify].
- Click [Close].
- Click [(Change)].
- Select any staff member from the 'Staff' field.
- Select and review the 'To Do's' for the selected staff member.
- Click [Accept].
- Enter any comments in the 'Accepted' field.
- Click [Sign].
- Set the 'Password' field to the password of the current logged in user.
- Click [Verify].
- Click [(Reset)].
- Validate that the 'To Do' widget displays the 'To Do's' for the current logged in user as expected.

Scenario 1: All Documents Widget Functionality: Sort/Filter/Display and Validation
Specific Setup:
- Registry Setting: 'RADplus->General->->->->Enable Documentation Views' must be set to 'Y'.
- A Documentation View must exist and assigned to a users view (ex. All Docs Test).
- A client must have data filed in various forms (ex. Problem List', 'Diagnosis', 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)') (Client A).
Steps
- Select 'Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and navigate to the 'All Documents Widget' view.
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field (ex. "All Episodes").
- Select the 'Documents' tab.
- Validate the columns for 'Form Name', 'Document Description', 'Document Date', and 'Document Episode' display as expected.
- Select any row in the 'Form Name' column.
- Validate that the selected record displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
- Select any date from the 'Document Date' column filter.
- Select the filtered row and validate that the selected record displays in the 'Console Widget Viewer'.
- Click [Clear Filters].
- Select the 'All Note Types' tab.
