eMAR - Client Information
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: Avatar eMAR - 'Medical Diagnoses' under eMAR 'Latest Client Information'
Specific Setup:
- There must be more than one client. (Client A, Client B).
- "Client A" must have an active episode whose 'Admission Date' is more than 3 months in the past.
- "Client A" must have 2 active diagnoses with a 'Classification' or "Medical", one of which is a "Primary" and 1 active diagnosis with any other 'Classification', such as "Substance Abuse", that is also set as the "Primary".
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Diagnosis' form.
- Select "Update" in the 'Type of Diagnosis' field.
- Set the 'Date of Diagnosis' field to a date that is 90 days in the past.
- Click [Current Time] in the 'Date of Diagnosis' field.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select "Depression, major, in remission" in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Medical" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "Secondary" in the 'Ranking' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select "Acute migraine" in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Medical" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "Secondary" in the 'Ranking' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select "Allergy, drug" in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Substance Abuse" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "Primary" in the 'Ranking' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate a message is displayed stating "Do you want to return to the Pre-Display?" and click "No".
- Go to the 'eMAR' widget and immediately switch to the 'myDay' widget.
- Select "Client B" from the 'My Patients' list and access the 'eMAR' widget.
- Validate the patient displayed in the 'eMAR' matches with the patient selected in the 'Client Information' header.
- Go to the 'myDay' widget and click [Clear Patient - X].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'eMAR' widget.
- Click the expand button to expand the 'Diagnosis' information.
- Validate the 'Latest Client Information' section includes a value under 'Principal Diagnoses' with the 'Date of Diagnosis' and 'Practitioner', two values under 'Medical Diagnoses', and a value under 'Substance Abuse Diagnoses'.
- Access the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
- Click [Add].
- Select "Update" in the 'Type of Diagnosis' field.
- Set the 'Date of Diagnosis' field to a date that is 60 days in the past.
- Click [Current Time] in the 'Time of Diagnosis' field.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select the desired value in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Medical" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "Secondary" in the 'Ranking' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select the desired value in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Medical" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "Secondary" in the 'Ranking' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select the desired value in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Substance Abuse" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "Primary" in the 'Ranking' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Click [New Row].
- Search for and select the desired value in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
- Select "Substance Abuse" in the 'Classification' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Add To Problem List' field.
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Validate a message is displayed stating "Do you want to return to the Pre-Display?" and click "No".
- Access the 'eMAR' widget.
- Click the expand button to expand the 'Diagnosis' information.
- Validate the 'Latest Client Information' section includes a value under 'Principal Diagnoses' with the 'Date of Diagnosis' and 'Practitioner', two values under 'Medical Diagnoses', and a value under 'Substance Abuse Diagnoses'.

OE NX - Home Medication - Stop Date is calculated when doing a 'Reorder/Modify'.
Scenario 1: OE - NX- Home Medication Stop Date, Days Supply blank while converting reported orders into Rx order and Home Medication Stop Date not blank while Reorder, Modify for medications
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Check the 'Reported' checkbox.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field.
- Set the 'Start Date' field to a date that is 5 days in the past.
- Set the 'End Date' field to a date that is 4 days in the past. (This will make this order immediately expire.)
- Select "Client Reported" in the 'Reported Source' field.
- Populate any remaining required fields and click [Save].
- Select "All" from the 'Status' field.
- Validate the order created appears in the 'Order grid'.
- Select the order created and click [Make RX].
- Validate the 'Days Supply' and 'Stop Date' fields are blank and click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Validate the order in 'Scratchpad' has a red flag for a missing 'Stop Date'.
- Populate the 'Stop Date' and 'Days Supply' and click [Update Order], [Final Review], and [Sign].
- Uncheck the 'Reported' checkbox.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field.
- Select "1" from 'Refills' field.
- Set the 'Days Supply' field to "30".
- Set the 'Start Date' field to a date that is 15 days in the past.
- Populate all required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad], [Final Review], and [Sign].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains a new order.
- Select the order created and click [Reorder].
- Validate the 'Reported' checkbox is unchecked.
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the current date.
- Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains a date that is 30 days in the future of the 'Start Date'.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad], [Final Review], and [Sign].
- Validate the order appears in the 'Order grid' with the updated 'Start Date' and 'Stop Date'.
- Select the order created and click [Modify].
- Validate the 'Reported' checkbox is unchecked.
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the current date.
- Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains a date that is 30 days in the future of the 'Start Date'.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad], [Final Review], and [Sign].
- Validate the order appears in the 'Order grid' with the updated 'Start Date' and 'Stop Date'.

OE NX - Free Text medication in Home Medications
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Home Medications
- Order Entry User Definition
Scenario 1: OE NX - 'Free Text Medication' checkbox in Home Medications
Specific Setup:
- "User A" must have the 'Prevent Entry/Update in the OE Console (Home Medications section)' checkbox unchecked in the 'Order Entry User Definition' form.
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Validate the 'No Known Medications' checkbox is not checked.
- Check the 'Free Text Medication' checkbox and validate the 'Reported' checkbox is checked.
- Populate all required fields and click [Save].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains the new order.
