OE NX - AOE question for order with carry forward AOE answers on Copy
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: OE NX - Validate AOE questions
Specific Setup:
- An Order Code must exist that has more than one and at least one required 'Ask On Order Entry' question selected in 'Order Code Setup'. (Order Code A)
- An Order Code exist that has no 'Ask On Order Entry' question selected in 'Order Code Setup'. (Order Code B)
- The extended attribute '(577) Carry Forward AOE Answers on Copy/Modify/Reorder' off the file 'Order Entry Tabled Files' must be set to “Yes” for order type of "Order Code A".
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
Steps
- Access the Order Entry Console for Client A.
- Search for and select "Order Code A" from the 'New Order' field.
- Set the 'Dose' field to "1".
- Validate the 'Dose Unit' field contains "Tablet".
- Select "As Needed" from the Freq: field.
- Set the 'Duration' field to "2".
- Click [Days].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains current date.
- Validate the 'Start Time' field contains current time.
- Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains 2 days later than the current date.
- Validate the 'Stop Time' field contains Start Time - 1 minute.
- Click [Ask on Order Entry].
- Answer the AOE questions.
- Click [Save], [Add to Scratchpad], and [Sign].
- Validate that the order displays in the 'Order grid'.
- Select the order and click [Modify].
- Validate the 'Dose' field contains "1", the 'Dose Unit' field contains "Tablet", and the 'Freq' field contains " As Needed"
- Validate the 'Duration' field contains "2" and [Days] is pressed.
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains current date. And the 'Start Time' field contains current time.
- Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains 2 days after the 'Start Date'.
- Validate the 'Stop Time' field contains a time that is one minute prior to the 'Start Time'.
- Click [Ask on Order Entry]
- Validate that all the questions answered while creating the order display the correct values.
- Click [Save] and [Add to Scratchpad].
- Set the 'New Order' field to "Order Code B".
- Set the 'Dose' field to "1" and validate the 'Dose Unit' field contains "Tablet".
- Select "As Needed" from the 'Freq' field.
- Set the 'Duration' field to "2" and click [Days].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains current date.
- Validate the 'Start Time' field contains current time.
- Validate the 'Stop Date' field contains 2 days later than the current date.
- Validate the 'Stop Time' field contains Start Time - 1 minute.
- Click [Save], [Add to Scratchpad], and [Sign].
- Validate that the "Order Code A" and "Order Code B" are displayed in the 'Order grid'.
- Select both the orders from the order grid and click 'Copy'.
- Click "Yes" for the Start Date dialog-box.
- Validate "Order Code B" is moved to scratchpad has no reg flag or red AOE indicator.
- Validate "Order Code A" is moved to scratchpad has red indicator for 'Ask on Order Entry'.
- Click [Sign].
- Validate error message get displayed for unanswered or unverified AOE question for "Order Code A" and click [OK].
- Click on the indicator for unanswered or unverified AOE for "Order Code A".
- Validate that all the questions answered while creating the order display the correct values.
- Click [Save], [Sign] and [Save Override and Exit].

OE Console - Home Med - "No Entry" not populated by default

Scenario 1: OE NX - Home Medication - "No Entry" is being defaulted in 'Diagnosis' for Taper/Titrations and Make Rx
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an inpatient episode whose program or unit are configured in the ‘External Pharmacy Setup’ form. (Client A).
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
- "Client A" should not have any values filed in the 'Diagnosis' form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Click on 'Home Medications' tab.
- Validate that the 'Reported' checkbox is unchecked.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field.
- Validate the 'Diagnosis' field contains "No Entry" by default.
- Click [Taper/Titrate] and populate all the required fields in the dialog and click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Select the order from the 'Scratchpad' and validate that the 'Diagnosis' field value contains "No Entry".
- Populate all the required fields and click [Update Order] and [Final Review].
- Validate the 'Final Review' dialog is displayed.
- Select "None" in the 'Output' field and click [Sign].
- Check the 'Reported' checkbox.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field and click [Save].
- Select the order and click [Make RX].
- Validate the 'Diagnosis' field contains "No Entry" by default.
- Click [Taper/Titrate] and populate all fields in the dialog and click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Select the order from the 'Scratchpad' and validate that the 'Diagnosis' field contains "No Entry".
- Populate all the required fields and click [Update Order] and [Final Review].
- Validate the 'Final Review' dialog is displayed.
- Select "None" in the 'Output' field and click [Sign].

OE NX - Admission Medication Reconciliation - Pending status

Scenario 1: OE NX - Admission Med Rec - Edit Pending Reconciliation - Hold in Pending Status, Active and Reconcile
Specific Setup:
- The 'Default to Client Reported' checkbox is checked for the logged in user in the 'Order Entry User Definition' form.
- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Create an order "Order A".
- Click the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Create a 'Reported' order "Order B" with 'Reported Source' and 'Reported Source Text'
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains "Order B Reported Source: Other Physician Reported Source Text: Testing Reported Source Text" with an 'Order Type' of "Reported".
- Click the 'Admission Reconciliation' tab.
- Hover over "Order B" and validate "Reported Source: Reported, Reported Source Text: Testing Reported Source Text" with a 'Type' of "Reported" is displayed.
- Validate the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad' contains "Order A".
- Select the order in the 'Home Medications (Pre-Admission)' and click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Populate the required fields and click [Update Order].
- Click [Hold in Pending Status].
- Validate the 'Admission Med Reconciliation' tab is in view-only mode.
- Click the 'Orders This Episode' tab.
- Validate 'New Order' is disabled.
- Validate "New orders are not allowed until Admission Med Reconciliation for this episode is active" message is shown when hovering over the 'New Order' field. (This message is only for myAvatarNX and not for myAvatar.)
- Validate 'My Favorites' is enabled.
- Click 'My Favorites' and validate [Add to Scratchpad] is disabled.
- Select any order from list and validate [Add to Scratchpad] is disabled.
- Click [Close].
- Click the 'Admission Reconciliation' tab.
- Validate the 'Admission Med Reconciliation' tab is in view-only mode.
- Click [Edit Pending Reconciliation].
- Validate the 'Warning' message is displayed stating "Admission Medication Reconciliation has not been updated to reflect any changes to inpatient or discharge medications since previously saved. Please review accordingly." and click [OK].
- Create a new order "Order B" and click [Add to Scratchpad]
- Click [Hold in Pending Status].
- Validate the 'Admission Med Reconciliation' tab is in view-only mode.

Scenario 1: eMAR NX - Reschedule Hours of Administration
Specific Setup:
- A frequency code must exist that has scheduled hours of administration, where one hour would be in the past. (Frequency Code A).
- The '(10014) Reason for Reschedule Administration Event' dictionary under 'eMAR Tabled Files' in 'Dictionary Update' must have a dictionary code defined (Dictionary Code A) that has the '"(10013) Require Reason Text with this Reason Code' is set to "No".
- A pharmacy-type order code must exist. (Order Code A).
- Make note of the 'NDC' associated with "Order Code A". This can be found in the 'Order Code Setup' form
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- "Client A" must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for and select "Order Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
- Select "Frequency A" in the 'Freq' field.
- Populate all required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
- Validate an ‘Interactions’ dialog is displayed.
- Override all interactions and click [Save Override and Exit].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains an order for "Order Code A".
- Access 'eMAR NX'.
- Click [Scan Client] and select any reason that does not require 'Other Reason' and click [Save].
- Validate the order for "Order Code A" is displayed.
- Click the ellipsis on the [Due/Dose] button and select 'Reschedule Administration Event'.
- Set the Rescheduled Date' field to a date that is 30 minutes in the future of the time on the right.
- Populate all remaining required fields and click [Save].
- Validate the time is updated in the [Due/Dose] button.
- Click [Due/Dose].
- Click [Administer], [Acknowledge] and [Educate].
- Select a successful administration in the 'Administration Event' field.
- Set the 'Med ID' field to the 'NDC' associated with "Order Code A".
- Validate [Address Alerts] is not displayed.
- Populate all remaining required fields and click [Save].
- Validate [Due/Dose] is not displayed.
- Validate the amount administered and the time of administration are displayed.

- A client must have an active episode whose program or unit is not configured in the 'External Pharmacy Setup' form. (Client A)

- Click [Add to Scratchpad]

- "Order Group A" must have 3 orders and each order must have a default 'Frequency' (Every 12 Hours, Every 12 Hours, and One Time Only - 8 AM), a "24" Hours 'Duration', "1" Quantity, "Tablet" as Quantity Unit, and a 'Start Date Offset (Days)' of "0","1", and "2".
- A client must have an active episode whose program or unit is not configured in the 'External Pharmacy Setup' form. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.

- Validate that the 'Frequency' field for row 2 contains "Every 12 Hours".
- Validate that the 'Start Date' field for row 2 contains a date that is 1 day in the future of the value in the 'Order Group Start Date'. This is because the order has a 'Start Date Offset' of "1" Day.
- Validate that the 'Start Time' field for row 2 contains the same value as the 'Start Time' field at the top of the dialog.
- Validate that the 'Stop Time' field for row 1 contains the value as the 'Start Time' field at the top of the dialog - 1 minute.
- Validate that the 'Frequency' field for row 3 contains "One Time Only - 8 AM".
- Validate that the 'Start Date' field for row 3 contains a date that is 2 days in the future of the value in the 'Order Group Start Date'. This is because the order has a 'Start Date Offset' of "2 Days". But if the start time on the top of the dialog is more than 8AM then 'Start Date' will be 3 days in the future.
- Validate that the 'Start Time' field for row 3 contains "08:00" as frequency set is "One Time Only - 8 AM".
- Click [Add to Scratchpad]
- Validate that the 'Scratchpad' contains all 3 orders.
- Validate that 'Action' contains "ADD" for all three rows.
- Validate that the 1st 'Start Date' contains the current date, because the 'Start Date Offset' is "0".
- Validate that the 1st 'Stop Date' contains a date that is 1 day in the future of the 'Start Date'. This is because the 'Duration' is "24 hours".
- Validate that the 2nd 'Start Date' contains a date that is 1 day in the future of the current date. This is because 'Start Date Offset' was "1".
- Validate that the 2nd 'Stop Date' contains a date that is 2 days in the future of the 'Start Date' of this same row. This is because the 'Duration' is "24 hours".

- Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
- A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.

- Validate the 'Interactions' dialog is displayed.
- Override all interactions and click [Save Override and Exit].
- Validate the new order appears in the 'Order grid'.
- Click the 'Discharge Med Reconciliation' tab.
- Validate the new order shows in 'Inpatient Medications' with "NO MATCH" in the 'Action' column.
- Validate [Do Not Add] is disabled.
- Validate [Do Not Add Remaining] is enabled.

- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Diagnosis’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for and select "Order code A" in the 'New Order' field.
- Populate the required fields.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
- Validate the "Order Code A" appears in the 'Order grid'.
- Click the 'Discharge Med Reconciliation' tab.
- Validate "Order Code A" shows in 'Inpatient Medications' with "NO MATCH" in the 'Action' column.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field. (Order Code B)
- Populate the required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad].

Scenario 1: OE NX - Lab Orders - Specimen Type/Specimen Site - Order Details
Specific Setup:
- The 'Avatar CWS->CWS Utilities->Specimen->->->Enable Specimen Site Selection Tree' registry setting must be set to "N".
- Two specimen types must exist. One who has the 'Specimen Site' extended attribute set to "Required" (Arm) and one who has it set to "Enabled". (Blood)
- A 'Lab' type order code must be created with "Arm" as a default 'Specimen Type' (Order Code A).

Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for and select any pharmacy-type order code. (Order Code A)
- Populate the required fields, back dating the order so there are both administration times in the past, as well as an administration time within 60 minutes of the current time.
- Access the 'eMAR' widget.
- Validate an order for "Order Code A" is displayed.
- Click [Scan Client] and complete the 'Wristband Scan Override'.
- Set the 'Filter' dropdown to "Due Now (n)".
- Validate the "Order Code A" is displayed under "Due now (n)" filter.

Avatar NX - Internal Referral Waitlist
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Internal Client Referrals
- Internal Referral Waitlist
- Process Internal Referrals
- Review To Do Item
Scenario 1: 'Internal Referral Waitlist' - Add/Edit Internal Referral Waitlist items (other referral type)
Specific Setup:
- Have a modeled form that contains a "Non Scrolling Free Text" field designated as a "Referral Group Field" in form 'Table Definition'.
- Have a referral type defined in "Internal Referral Type Maintenance" that is associated to that modeled form and a user associated to receive the internal referrals (Referral A). This should be set up to not go directly to the waitlist.
- The waitlist for "Referral A" must have many clients.
- Have a user (User A) who is a staff member who has client on his caseload (Client A) who was admitted in the system with "User A" as his 'Attending Practitioner'.
- Have a client with a referral processed and in the 'Internal Referral Waitlist' form (Client B).
- "User A" must have the 'My To Do's' widget on the myDay view and be logged in.
Steps
- Access the 'Internal Client Referrals' form.
- Enter "Client A" in the 'Client Being Referred' field.
- Populate field 'Internal Referral Type Category' with desired value.
- Select "Referral A" in the 'Internal Referral Type Being Requested' field.
- Select the desired value the 'Episode' field.
- Click [Initiate Internal Referral Process].
- Validate the modeled form associated with the referral is displayed.
- Populate the modeled form with desired data.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate the form files successfully.
- Access the 'Process Internal Referrals' form.
- Validate the 'Internal Referral' field contains the referral for "Client A".
- Select the referral for "Client A".
- Select the desired column header and verify the entries sort as expected.
- Validate the referral for "Client A" remains in selection post sorting.
- Validate the 'Internal Referral Information' field displays data for "Client A" as expected.
- Select "Waitlist" in the 'Internal Referral Status' field.
- Click [Process Internal Referral].
- Validate a message stating: "The Internal Referral has been processed Successfully."
- Click [OK].
- Validate the 'Internal Referral' field does not contain the referral for "Client A".
- Access the 'Internal Referral Waitlist' form.
- Validate the form loads in a timely manner.
- Validate the 'Internal Referral' field contains the referral for "Client A".
- Select the referral for "Client A".
- Select the desired column header and verify the entries sort as expected.
- Validate the referral for "Client A" remains in selection post sorting.
- Validate the 'Internal Referral Information' field displays data for "Client A" as expected.
- Select "Removed" in the 'Waitlist Status' field.
- Select any value in the 'Reason for Removal' field.
- Click [Process Waitlist Item].
- Validate a message stating: "The Internal Referral has been processed Successfully."
- Click [OK].
- Validate the 'Internal Referral' field does not contain the referral for "Client A".
- Select the referral for "Client B" and validate the 'Internal Referral Information' field displays as expected.
- Select "Closed (Send To Do Item)" in the 'Waitlist Status' field.
- Select any value in the 'Reason for Closure' field.
- Click [Process Waitlist Item].
- Validate a message stating: "The Internal Referral has been processed Successfully."
- Click [OK].
- Validate the 'Internal Referral' field does not contain the referral for "Client B".
- Select "Add" in the 'Add of Edit' field.
- Select "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Episode' field.
- Select "Referral A" in the Waitlist Type' field.
- Click [Process Waitlist Item].
- Validate the 'Internal Referral' field contains the new referral for "Client A".
- Close the form.
- Navigate to the 'My To Do's' widget.
- Validate the 'Additional ToDo's' field contains the referral for "Client B".
- Click [Review To Do Item].
- Validate the 'To Do Information' field contains the corresponding values.
- Click [Reviewed - Set To Do Item to Reviewed] and [Submit].
- Validate the 'ToDo' is reviewed successfully and removed from the 'Additional ToDo's' field.
- Close the 'ToDo's' and close the open forms.

Scenario 1: FoRSE Configuration
Specific Setup:
- Using the "User Definition" form, give the user access to the "FoRSE Configuration".
- Refresh the menus.
Steps
- Open the "FoRSE Configuration" form.
- Enable "FoRSE" functionality.
- Set the "Facility ID" to the value assigned by NAATP.
- Set the "Secret Key" to the value assigned by NAATP.
- Set the "Register New Company URL" to the URL provided by NAATP.
- Set the "Registration Status URL" to the URL provided.
- Set the "Surveys URL" to the URL provided.
- Go to the "FoRSE Facility Configuration" section.
- Enter the information for the EHR Facilities added.
- Click [Submit] to file the data.
- Open the "FoRSE Configuration" form.
- Validate the "Enable" radio button is clicked.
- Validate "Facility ID" is set to the value assigned by NAATP.
- Validate the "Secret Key" is set to the value assigned by NAATP.
- Validate the "Register New Company URL" is set to the URL provided by NAATP.
- Validate the "Registration Status URL" is set to the URL provided,
- Validate "Surveys URL" is set to the URL provided.
- Go to the "FoRSE Facility Configuration" section.
- Validate the information for the EHR Facilities is correct.
- Click [View] in the "FoRSE Status" column of each row added.
- Validate the "FoRSE Status" indicates "Success".
- Click [Discard] to close the form
Scenario 2: FoRSE Mapping
Specific Setup:
- FoRSE must be configured and enabled.
Steps
- Open the "FoRSE Mapping" form.
- Add a new mapping.
- Select the desired survey to map to in the "Type of Survey" drop down,
- Check the "EHR Facility IDs" to submit for this particular survey.
- For each Question in the survey, select an Avatar form and field to map to.
- Click [View] under the "Field Translation" column.
- Left as is, the system will use the default dictionary values and codes.
- If you wish to change the default dictionary values, you can use the "Field Translation".
- Click [Submit] to file the form.
- Open the "FoRSE Mapping" form.
- Edit an existing mapping.
- Select an existing mapping in the "Mapping" drop down
- Validate mapping is enabled.
- Validate the "EHR Facility IDs" are the ones selected previously.
- Validate the "Field Mapping" is as what was previously entered.
- Close the form.
- File the "Admission" form either for a new client or an existing client.
- Open the "FoRSE Configuration" form.
- Go to the "FoRSE Monitor" section.
- Set the start and end dates.
- Select the client.
- Click [Launch Report].
- Click [Click To View Record].
- Validate payload indicates success.
- Close the form.
