OE NX - Free Text orders - External Pharmacy Mode
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: OE NX - Creating a new order in the Order Entry Console (Admission Med Reconciliation tab) - external pharmacy mode
Specific Setup:
- Must have two 'Reason Codes' defined in the 'Dictionary Update' form for Order Entry Tabled Files '(504)Reason Code Setup' with the 'Require Reason Text With This Reason Code' extended attribute off of 'Reason Code Setup' is set to "Yes" for "Reason Code A" and is set to "No" for "Reason Code B".
- An order must be configured with multiple 'Standard/Preferred Reason Codes' that are more than 20 characters via the 'Order Code Setup' form. (Acetaminophen)
- A client must have an inpatient episode whose program or unit are configured in the ‘External Pharmacy Setup’ form. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Click the 'Admission Medication Reconciliation' tab.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field.
- Verify the 'Free Text' button does not exist
- Select "Reason Code A" in the 'Reason' field.
- Validate that the 'Reason Text' field is enabled and required.
- Select "Reason Code B" in the 'Reason' field.
- Validate that the 'Reason Text' field is enabled and not required.
- Set the 'Reason Text' field to "Test".
- Populate all required field and click [Add to Scratchpad]
- Validate the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad' contains the new order with "Reason: Reason Code A -- Test".
- Click [Reconcile & Sign]
Scenario 2: OE NX - Order Entry Console (Orders This Episode) - Copy and Modify - external pharmacy mode
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an inpatient episode whose program or unit are configured in the ‘External Pharmacy Setup’ form. (Client A)
- “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for and select a pharmacy-type order code that is a non-controlled substance.
- Verify the 'Free Text' button does not exist
- Populate all required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Final Review].
- An 'Interactions' dialog may be displayed.
- Override all interactions and click [Save Override and Exit] and click [Sign].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains the new order.
- Select the order and click [Modify].
- Verify the 'Free Text' button does not exist
- Set the 'Dose' field to a different value and click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Final Review].
- An 'Interactions' dialog may be displayed.
- Override all interactions and click [Save Override and Exit] and click [Sign].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains the new order with the updated 'Dose'.
- Select the order and click [Copy].
- Validate a message is displayed stating: "Do you want the new order to default to START AFTER the original orders end? (The alternative is to have the new order default to start now.)".
- Click [Yes]
- Verify the 'Free Text' button does not exist
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the 'Stop Date' of the original order.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Final Review].
- An 'Interactions' dialog may be displayed.
- Override all interactions and click [Save Override and Exit] and click [Sign].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains two orders.

- Search for and select any pharmacy-type order code in the 'New Order' field.
- Validate [Free Text] is not pressed and 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' are required fields.
- Click [Free Text].
- Validate 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' fields are disabled.
- Populate the values for required fields.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
- Select the created order and click [Modify].
- Validate [Free Text] is pressed and 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' fields are disabled.
- Un-press [Free Text].
- Set any value for the 'Dose' field and click [Free Text].
- Validate 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' fields are disabled.
- Un-press [Free Text] and validate 'Dose' field contains the previous given value.
- Select and set any value from dropdown for the 'Dose Unit' field.
- Click [Free Text] and validate 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' fields are disabled.
- Un-press [Free Text] and validate 'Dose' and 'Dose Unit' fields contains the previous given values.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
- Validate the order created displays in the 'Order grid'

Scenario 1: Allergies and Hypersensitivities - Add/Edit Allergies
Specific Setup:

Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
- Select "No" in the 'Known Medication Allergies' field.
- Select "No" in the 'Known Food Allergies' field.
- Click [Update].
- Validate the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' grid is displayed.
- Click [New Row].
- Validate the current date displays as expected in the 'Date Recorded' field.
- Double click and enter the desired value in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field.
- Click on the 'Date Recognized' field.
- Validate that the 'Date Recognized' field is in focus, and a 'Search Results' dialog displays based on the value provided.
- Select any value from the 'Search Results' dialog.
- Validate the selected value displays in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field and the focus remains unchanged.
- Enter the desired date in the 'Date Recognized' field.
- Double-click on the 'Status' field and validate that the 'Status' dialog opens within the view.
- Select "Active" in the 'Status' field.
- Select any value in the 'Reaction Severity' field.
- Enter the value in the Treatment column.
- Validate Tooltip works value in the Treatment column.
- Click the [Save].
- Click [Update].
- Select the record and click [Copy/Paste Row].
- Validate Tooltip works value in the copied Treatment column.
- Click the [Save] repetitively until the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' grid closes as expected.
- Click [Update] and validate only 2 records exist on the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' grid.
- Click [Close/Cancel] and [Submit].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
- Click [Update].
- Validate the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' grid contains the 2 records of allergy filed in the previous steps.
- Select any desired record and click [Delete Row].
- Validate dialog stating "Allergies that have been saved previously cannot be deleted. Please update the 'Status' as appropriate."
- Click [OK].
- Select "Inactive" in the 'Status' field.
- Click [Save] and [Submit].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
- Click [Update].
- Validate the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' grid contains the 2 records of allergy as expected.
- Click [New Row].
- Validate the current date displays as expected in the 'Date Recorded' field.
- Double click and enter desired value in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field.
- Click on the 'Date Recognized' field.
- Validate the 'Date Recognized' field is in focus, and a 'Search Results' dialog displays based on the value provided.
- Select any value from the 'Search Results' dialog.
- Validate the selected value displays in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field and the focus remains unchanged.
- Enter the desired date in the 'Date Recognized' field.
- Select "Active" in the 'Status' field.
- Select any value in the 'Reaction Severity' field.
- Click [Delete Row].
- Click [Yes] and validate that the newly added row is deleted.
- Click [Close/Cancel].
- Click [Update].

- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Search for and select "Order Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
- Click [Sliding Scale Instructions].
- Click [New Row], populate the grid and click [Save].
- Populate the required fields.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Final Review].
- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Check the 'No Known Medications' checkbox and the 'Medication history reviewed and completed for Episode #1' checkbox.
- Click the 'Admission Reconciliation' tab.
- Select the order from 'Inpatient Medication Scratchpad'.
- Click [Modify] and [Update Order].
- Click the order from 'Inpatient Medication Scratchpad'.
- Click [Undo] and [Reconcile & Sign].
- Search for and select "Order Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
- Click [Sliding Scale Instructions].
- Select "High Blood Sugar" in the 'Template' field.
- Validate the grid is populated with the information pertaining to the template selected and click [Save].
- Populate all remaining required fields.
- Validate the 'Instructions' field is disabled.
- Validate the 'Addl Instructions' field is disabled and contains the information in the template selected.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Select the order in the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad'.
- Validate the 'Instructions' field is disabled.

- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Uncheck the 'Client Reported' checkbox.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field.
- Populate all required fields and set the 'Days Supply' field to "15".
- Set the 'Start Date' field to a value that is 10 days in the past and click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field under the 'Scratchpad' displays a value that is 10 days in the past.
- Click the [Final Review].
- Select "None" in the 'Output' field and click [Sign].
- Validate the 'Order grid' contains the new order with a 'Start Date' that is 10 days in the past.
- Select the order and click [Modify].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the current date.
- Click [Refresh].
- Select the order and click [Reorder].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the current date.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Final Review].
- Select "None" in the 'Output' field and click [Sign].

- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Uncheck the 'Client Reported' checkbox.
- Search for and select any medication in the 'New Order' field.
- Populate all required fields and set the 'Days Supply' field to "15".
- Set the 'Start Date' field to "T-10" and click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Validate the 'Start Date' field under the 'Scratchpad' displays "T-10".
- Click the [Final Review].
- Validate the 'Final Review' dialog is displayed.
- Select "None" in the 'Output' field and click [Sign].
- Select the 'Discharge Reconciliation' tab.
- Validate the 'Home Medications Scratchpad (Post-Discharge)' contains an order with a 'Start Date' that is 10 days in the past.

- Select the order created from the 'Order grid' and click [Compliance].
- Select any value for the 'Compliance' field and click [Save].
- Click [View - Last Compliance] for the order created in 'Order grid'.
- Validate the values displayed are correct and click [Close].
- Select the order created from the 'Order grid' and click [Edit].
- Set 'Dose' as 2 and click [Save]
- Validate the 'Order grid' displays the edited value.

- Select Reason Code A for 'Reason'.
- Validate 'Reason Text' field is required and empty.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad].

- Clear the 'Reason Text' field and click [Update Order].
- Validate the order in the scratchpad contains a missing required field flag.
- Select the order from the scratchpad and populate the 'Reason Text' field.
- Click [Update Order].
- Validate the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad' contains the order for "PRILOSEC 10 MG CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE ORAL" with "MODIFY" in the 'Action column'.
- Click [Restart Reconciliation].
- Validate that a message is displayed stating "Clicking restart will discard all current changes. Are you sure you wish to restart?" and click [No].
- Validate the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad' contains the order for "PRILOSEC 10 MG CAPSULE, DELAYED RELEASE ORAL" with "MODIFY" in the 'Action column'.
- Click [Restart Reconciliation].
- Validate that a message is displayed stating "Clicking restart will discard all current changes. Are you sure you wish to restart?" and click [Yes].

Scenario 2: OE NX - Discharge Med Reconciliation - Reorder/Modify, Make Rx and Discontinue
Specific Setup:
- A client must have an active inpatient episode. (Client A)
- "Client A" must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
- The ‘Require Reason Text With This Reason Code’ extended attribute must be set to “Yes” in the Order Entry Tabled Files ‘(504) Reason Code Setup’ dictionary for a reason code. (Reason Code A)
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
- Select the 'Home Medications' tab.
- Click [Change] and validate the 'Pharmacy Search' dialog appears.
- Set the 'Search Within' field to "All" and click [Search], choose a pharmacy and then click [Select & Make Preferred].
- Validate the chosen pharmacy is listed above the 'Order grid'.
- Validate the ‘Reported’ checkbox is checked.
- Search for and select "predniSONE 5 MG Tablet Oral" in the 'New Order' field.
- Set the ‘Dose’ field to "5".
- Validate the 'Dose Unit' field defaults to "Tablet".
- Select "Milligram" from the 'Dose Unit' field.
- Select "TWICE A DAY" from the ‘Frequency’ field.

- Select this order from the scratchpad and populate the 'Reason Text' field.
- Click [Update Order], [Final Review], [Save Override and Exit] and [Sign].
- Validate the 'New Order' field does not contain a value.
- Search for and select "cefTRIAXone 1 GM Powder for Solution Injection" in the 'New Order' field.
- Set the ‘Dose’ field to "1".
- Select "Gram" from the ‘Dose Unit’ field.
- Select "EVERY DAY" from the ‘Frequency’ field.
- Set the ‘Days Supply’ field to "12".

Specific Setup:
- The "Microsoft Azure" cloud computing platform or similar platform, has been setup by the client's system administrators to integrate with "Microsoft 365" to provide the "Microsoft Outlook" application to users
- The 'Enable Outlook 365 Integration' registry setting has been set to "Y" to enable support for "Outlook 365" integration. [Note: this registry setting is introduced with "RADplus 2023 Update 112"]
- In the 'System Security Defaults' form, in the "Outlook 365 Integration Configuration" section, the 'Client ID', 'Client Secret' and 'Tenant ID' field values needed for integration provided by the Admin team, have been populated and the form has been submitted successfully.
- [TestUser] has "Microsoft Outlook" installed on their desktop and has a "Microsoft Outlook" email account assigned to them [TestEmail]
- [TestUser] has an appointment or meeting [TestApptA], scheduled in their "Microsoft Outlook" on [TestDateA]
- [TestUser] is also a staff member and has a client appointment [TestApptB], already scheduled on [TestDateB], via the 'Scheduling Calendar'

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
Scenario 1: 'Advanced Client Search' validations
Specific Setup:
- A male client must be enrolled in an existing episode with a lengthy name (Client A).
- The logged in user must have access to the 'Registry Settings' form.
Steps
- Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
- Enter "Gender Display" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
- Click [View Registry Settings].
- Enter "F&M" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
- Click [Submit], [OK] and [No].
- Increase the browser zoom to 150%.
- Access the "Advanced Client Search" link.
- Validate [Close] button is visible.
- Click the 'Sex' field.
- Validate "Male" and "Female" display as expected.
- Click [Close].
- Change the browser zoom back to the normal value.
- Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
- Enter "Gender Display" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
- Click [View Registry Settings].
- Enter "F&M&U" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
- Click [Submit], [OK], and [No].
- Access the "Advanced Client Search" link.
- Enter the values associated with "Client A" in the 'Last Name' and First Name' fields.
- Click the 'Sex' field.
- Validate "Male", "Female", and "Unknown" display as expected.
- Select "Male" from the 'Sex' field.
- Click [Search].
- Validate the search results display all the records as expected.
- Click [Clear] and [Close].
