Avatar NX - System Templates

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: Avatar NX – Validate the use of ‘User Defined Templates’

Specific Setup:

The Registry Setting "Enable Templates on Demand for SQL Widgets" to be set "Y".
One or more system templates must be defined in the 'Product Scrolling Free Text Templates' form for the 'Ambulatory Progress Notes' form.
A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
The 'Ambulatory Progress Notes' form must have the following configure in the 'Document Routing Setup' form:
"Yes" must be selected in the 'Enable Document Routing' field.
"Yes" must be selected in the 'Skip Password Entry' field.
"Yes" must be selected in the 'Allow Comments During Approval' field.

Steps

Select "Client A" and access the 'Ambulatory Progress Notes' form.
Select "Independent Note" in the 'Progress Note For field.
Select desired value in the 'Note Type' field.
In the 'Notes Field', click [Templates].
Validate the 'System Templates' option populates as expected along with the other options in the menu list.
Select [User Defined Templates] and [Manage Templates].
Enter "Template A" in the 'Template Name' field.
Drag and Drop the desired fields to the template from the 'Available Fields' field.
Click [Preview].
Validate the Preview displays the added fields.
Close the preview.
Click [Add] and [Save].
In the 'Notes Field', click [Templates].
Select "Template A" in the 'User Defined Templates' field.
Select "Draft" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
Click [Submit].
Access the 'Ambulatory Progress Notes' form.
Select the Note we created in the previous steps.
Click [Edit].
Validate the data we filed in the previous steps exists.
Select "Final" in the 'Draft/Final' field.
Click [Submit].
Click [Sign].
Enter desired comments in the 'Approval Comments' field.
Click [OK].

Scenario 2: Treatment Plan - Validate System Templates

Specific Setup:

The 'Enable Templates on Demand for SQL Widgets' registry settings must be set "Y".
One or more system templates must be defined in the 'Product Scrolling Free Text Templates' form for the 'Treatment Plan' form. Please note: these are configured for each section of the 'Treatment Plan' form. (Template A)
A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Document routing must be enabled for the 'Treatment Plan' form.

Steps

Select "Client A" and access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
Enter the desired date in the 'Plan Date' field.
Select any value in the 'Plan Type' field.
Enter the desired value in the 'Plan Name' field.
Select "Draft" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
Click [Launch Plan].
Click [Add New Problem].
Populate any required and desired fields.
Next to the 'Problems' field, click [Templates].
Validate 'System Templates' are present and select "Template A".
Validate the 'Problems' field contains the expected value.
Continue adding the desired 'Goals', 'Objectives' and 'Interventions' and validate the 'System Templates' display if they were configured in the 'Product Scrolling Free Text Templates' form.
Click [Return to Plan], [OK], and [Submit].
Access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
Select the plan from the previous steps and click [Edit].
Validate the data entered in the previous steps displays as expected.
Click [Launch Plan].
Select the problem and validate the expected data displays.
Click [Return to Plan] and [OK].
Select "Final" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
Click [Submit].
Validate the 'Confirm Document' dialog displays the plan as expected.
Click [Sign].
Enter the password associated with the logged in user and click [Verify].
Validate the form closes.
