Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Registry Settings (PM)
Scenario 1: 'Coming In Today' widget - Validate the 'Restrict Practitioner Search By Program' registry setting
Specific Setup:
  • A practitioner is defined with hours and only has "(301) O.P. Adolescent Psych" selected in the 'Program Association' field in 'Practitioner Enrollment' (Practitioner A).
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • The 'Coming In Today' widget is on the HomeView.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  2. Enter "Restrict Practitioner Search By Program" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
  3. Click [View Registry Settings].
  4. Select "Restrict Practitioner Search By Program" and click [OK].
  5. Enter "N" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
  6. Click [Submit] and close the form.
  7. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  8. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' for "Practitioner A".
  9. Click [Add Appointment].
  10. Validate the 'Practitioner' field contains "Practitioner A".
  11. Enter the desired value in the 'Service Code' field.
  12. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  13. Validate the 'Practitioner' field contains "Practitioner A".
  14. Validate the 'Program' field contains all programs.
  15. Select "(307) O.P. Mature Adult S.A." in the 'Program' field.
  16. Click [Submit].
  17. Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the appointment added for "Practitioner A".
  18. Click [Dismiss].
  19. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.

Scenario 1: 'Coming In Today' widget - validate missed visit functionality
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Post Missed Visit Appointments Within Scheduling Calendar' registry setting is set to "YP".
  • The following fields must be populated in the 'Appointment Scheduling System Defaults' form: 'Inpatient Progress Note', 'Outpatient Progress Note', 'Note Type' and 'Reason For Correction (Progress Note)'.
  • The 'Coming in Today' widget must be configured on the user's myDay view.
  • A Documentation View must be set up on a user's view containing the 'All Documents' widget and the 'Console Widget Viewer' ('All Documents' view).
  • An appointment for a client must be created for the current date (Client A).
Steps
  1. Navigate to the 'Coming In Today' widget.
  2. Select the row for the existing appointment for "Client A".
  3. Check "Yes" in the 'Missed Visit' field.
  4. Select the desired missed visit service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  5. Enter any value in the 'Notes' field.
  6. Click [File].
  7. Validate a 'Confirmation' dialog is displayed stating: "File successful".
  8. Click [OK].
  9. Refresh the widget.
  10. Validate the appointment for "Client A" displays as "Missed".
  11. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  12. Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the missed visit for "Client A".
  13. Click [Dismiss].
  14. Access the 'Client Ledger' form.
  15. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  16. Select "All Episodes" in the 'Client/Episode/All Episodes' field.
  17. Select "Simple" in the 'Ledger Type' field.
  18. Select "Yes" in the 'Include Zero Charges' field.
  19. Click [Process].
  20. Validate the service has been posted for the missed visit.
  21. Click [Dismiss] and close the form.
  22. Select "Client A" and navigate the 'All Documents' view.

  24. Select the progress note form defined in the 'Appointment Scheduling System Defaults' form.
  25. Validate a progress note was created for the missed visit.
  26. Navigate to the 'Coming In Today' widget.
  27. Select the missed visit appointment for "Client A".
  28. Click [Missed].
  29. Validate a 'Confirmation' dialog is displayed stating: "A missed visit was previously recorded for this appointment, do you want to delete the missed visit?"
  30. Click [Yes].
  31. Validate a 'Confirmation' dialog is displayed stating: "Change status to "Checked In"? This action cannot be undone."
  32. Click [Yes].
  33. Validate the appointment for "Client A" now displays as "Currently Checked In".

Scenario 1: Validate adding/removing clients from a user caseload
Specific Setup:
  • Two users are defined as practitioners (Practitioner A & Practitioner B).
  • An inpatient client must be added to the caseload of "Practitioner B" (Client A).
  • Take note of the 'Unit' the client is admitted in.
  • Must be logged in as the user associated to "Practitioner A".
  • Two views are defined with the 'My Clients' list (View A & View B)
  • "View A" must be the logged in user's default HomeView
  • "View B" must be associated to the HomeView
Steps
  1. Access the 'Nursing Caseload Assignment' form.
  2. Select the unit "Client A" is admitted to in the 'Select Clients From Unit' field.
  3. Select "Client A" in the 'Select Clients To Include In Current Caseload' field.
  4. Click [Move Selected Clients To Current Caseload].
  5. Validate the 'Current Caseload' field contains "Client A".
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Navigate to the 'My Clients' widget on "View A".
  8. Validate "Client A" is displayed.
  9. Select "View B".
  10. Navigate to the 'My Clients' widget.
  11. Validate "Client A" is displayed. Note: this may take up to 30 seconds.
  12. Access the 'Nursing Caseload Assignment' form.
  13. Click [Clear/Release Entire Current Caseload].
  14. Validate the 'Current Caseload' field no longer contains "Client A".
  15. Click [Submit].
  16. Navigate to the 'My Clients' widget on "View A".

Scenario 2: Validate the 'Recent Clients' list functionality
Specific Setup:
  • A user must be defined and logged in (User A).
  • "User A" must be associated to a user role (Role A).
  • The 'Enable enhanced caseload management' registry setting must be set to "Role A".
  • Four clients must have active episodes not part of "User A's" caseload. (Client A, Client B, Client C, and Client D).
Steps
  1. Search for and select “Client A” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
  2. Access any form within the application for “Client A”.
  3. Close the form.
  4. Validate that "Client A" is displayed under 'Recent Clients'.
  5. Right click “Client A” and select [Remove From List].
  6. Validate that the 'Recent Clients' list does not contain "Client A".
  7. Search for and select “Client B” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
  8. Access any form within the application for “Client B”.
  9. Close the form.
  10. Validate that “Client B” displays in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
  11. Search for and select “Client C” in the ‘Search Clients’ field of the ‘My Clients’ widget.
  12. Access any form within the application for “Client C”.
  13. Close the form.
  14. Validate that “Client B” and “Client C” display in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
  15. Right click “Client B” and select [Remove From List].

  49. Select “PT1 (Physician Team Test)” in the ‘Select one of the following’ field and click [OK].
  50. Select the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ section.
  51. Validate that “Client E” no longer displays in the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ grid.
  52. Close the form.
Scenario 3: 'My Clients' widget - Add to My Caseload, Remove From My Caseload
Specific Setup:
  • A user must be defined and logged in (User A).
  • "User A" must be associated to a user role and have access to all tables (Role A).
  • The 'Enable enhanced caseload management' registry setting must be set to "Role A".
Steps
  1. Access the ‘Admission’ form.
  2. Fill out all required fields and click [Submit]. This will be "Client A"
  3. Validate that "Client A" displays in the ‘Recent Clients’ list.
  4. Right click "Client A" and select [Add to My Caseload].
  5. Validate the ‘My Clients’ widget contains “Client A”.
  6. Right click "Client A" under 'My Clients' and select [Remove From My Caseload].
  7. Validate that “Client A” no longer displays in the ‘My Clients’ widget.
  8. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.radplus_caseload' table using the following fields: 'PATID', 'USERID' and 'caseload_type_CSM_value, hidden'.
  9. Filter the report by selecting "Client A's PATID" in the 'PATID' field.
  10. Validate the report contains no rows of data for "Client A".
  11. Access the ‘Team Definition’ form.
  12. Click [Select Team].
  13. Select “PT1 (Physician Team Test)” in the ‘Select one of the following’ field and click [OK].
  14. Select the ‘Individual Client Assignment’ section.
  15. Search for and select “Client A” in the ‘Client ID’ field.
  16. Select the ‘Team Definition’ section and click [File].

Scenario 1: OE NX - Order Entry Console (all sections) - Ensure the 'Source' field does not contain a default value.
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Client Profile->->->Default Order Entry Source' registry setting must not contain a value or be set to "N".
  • The 'Default Order Entry Source' field in 'Order Entry User Role' must not contain a value. (Order Entry User Role 1)
  • In 'Order Entry User Definition' a user must be associated with "Order Entry User Role 1" and have the ability to customize the user role. In addition, the 'Default Order Entry Source' field must not contain a value. (User A)
  • Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
  • "User A" must be logged into the application.
Steps
  1. Search for and select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Validate the 'Source' field does not contain a value.
  3. Search for and select any pharmacy-type order code.
  4. Populate all required fields in the order details panel.
  5. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  6. Validate a message is displayed stating "There is a missing required field: Source" and click [OK].
  7. Select any value in the 'Source' field, except for the blank value and click [Sign].

  2. Right click in any available time slot and click [Add Appointment].
  3. Enter the desired value in the 'Service Code' field.
  4. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  5. Select the desired episode in the 'Episode Number' field.
  6. Select the desired value in the 'Program' field.
  7. Click [Submit].
  8. Validate the 'Appointment Grid' contains the appointment created in the previous steps.
  9. Right click on the appointment and click [Check In].

  7. Click [Search].
  8. Click [New Client].
  9. Validate the 'Call Intake' form displays with the data entered in the previous steps.
  10. Populate all the required fields.
  11. Click [Submit].
  12. Validate "Client A" displays with a (P#).
  13. Access the 'Assign Permanent MR#' form.
  14. Validate the 'Temporary ID' field is populated and disabled.
