Form Pre-Displays - Sorting
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Treatment Plan
  • Diagnosis
Scenario 1: Treatment Plan - Predisplay Sort
Specific Setup:
  • Client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • The 'Treatment Plan' form must have document routing enabled.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
  2. Select the desired date in the 'Plan Date' field.
  3. Select the desired value in the 'Plan Type' field.
  4. Set the 'Plan Name' field to "Plan 1".
  5. Select "Draft" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  6. Click [Launch Plan].
  7. Set desired values for 'Problems', 'Goal', 'Objective', and 'Intervention'.
  8. Click [Return to Plan].
  9. Select "Final" from the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  10. Click [Submit].
  11. Click [Accept].
  12. Enter the password and click [Verify].
  13. Access the 'Treatment Plan' form again for "Client A".
  14. Click [Add].
  15. Select "No" in the 'Do you want to default from a previous plan' dialog.
  16. Select the desired date in the 'Plan Date' field.
  17. Select the desired value in the 'Plan Type' field.
  18. Set the 'Plan Name' field to "Plan 2".
  19. Select "Draft" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  20. Click [Launch Plan].
  21. Set desired values for 'Problems', 'Goal', 'Objective', and 'Intervention'.
  22. Click [Return to Plan].
  23. Click [Submit].
  24. Access the 'Treatment Plan' form again for "Client A".
  25. Sort any of the 'Plan Type' , 'Plan Name' , 'Plan Status' , 'Plan Date' columns in the pre-display.
  26. Validate the column sorts based on the values.
  27. Click [Cancel].
Scenario 2: Diagnosis - Predisplay Sort
Specific Setup:
  • Client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Diagnosis' form.
  2. Select the desired value in the 'Type Of Diagnosis' field.
  3. Set desired time in the 'Time Of Diagnosis' field.
  4. Click [New Row].
  5. Set desired Diagnosis in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
  6. Set desired Practitioner in the 'Diagnosing Practitioner' field.
  7. Click [Submit].
  8. Validate the message "Do you want to return to the Pre-Display?" and click [Yes].
  9. Click [Add].
  10. Select the desired value in the 'Type Of Diagnosis' field.
  11. Set desired time in the 'Time Of Diagnosis' field.
  12. Click [New Row].
  13. Set desired Diagnosis in the 'Diagnosis Search' field.
  14. Set desired Practitioner in the 'Diagnosing Practitioner' field.
  15. Click [Submit].
  16. Validate the message "Do you want to return to the Pre-Display?" and click [Yes].
  17. Sort any of the 'Date of Diagnosis' , 'Type of Diagnosis' , 'Time of Diagnosis' , 'Primary Diagnosis' columns in the pre-display.
  18. Validate the column sorts based on the values.
  19. Click [Cancel].

Avatar NX - Recent Clients
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Admission (Outpatient)
Scenario 1: Caseload Validation - Admit new client
Specific Setup:
  • The logged in user must have a practitioner associated (Practitioner A).
  • "Practitioner A" must have an empty caseload.
  • "Practitioner A" must an appointment scheduled for the current day with a client (Client A).
Steps
  1. Validate 'Recent Clients' and 'Clients for Today' display on the left side.
  2. Click [Clients for Today].
  3. Validate "Client A" displays.
  4. Click [Recent Clients].
  5. Validate an empty caseload.
  6. Access the 'Admission (OutPatient)' form.
  7. Enter the desired value in the 'Last Name' field.
  8. Enter the desired value in the 'First Name' field.
  9. Select any value in the 'Sex' field.
  10. Click [Search] and [New Client].
  11. Validate the 'Admission (OutPatient)' form displays with the values previously entered.
  12. Enter the current date in the 'Preadmit/Admission Date' field.
  13. Click [Current Time].
  14. Select the desired value in the 'Program' field.
  15. Select the desired value in the 'Type of Admission' field.
  16. Enter and select "Practitioner A" in the 'Admitting Practitioner' field.
  17. Enter and select "Practitioner A" in the 'Attending Practitioner' field.
  18. Click [Submit].
  19. Validate 'My Clients' displays on the left side and contains the newly admitted client.
  20. Validate the newly admitted client displays under 'Recent Clients' as well.
Scenario 2: Verify Recent Clients - no clients in user caseload
Specific Setup:
  • Must be logged in as a user with no clients in their caseload.
  • The logged in user must have "Yes" for 'Warn if user attempted non-caseload access' must be selected in 'User Definition'.
  • Two clients must be defined (Client A and Client B).
Steps
  1. Validate 'Recent Clients' field is displayed on the left side.
  2. Search for and select "Client A".
  3. Validate a "Non-Caseload Access" message is displayed stating: User, "Client A" is not contained within your current caseload. Your access of this client will be recorded within the database. Why are you accessing "Client A"?
  4. Enter the desired value and click [OK].
  5. Validate the 'Recent Clients' list now contains "Client A" and is highlighted.
  6. Search for and select "Client B".
  7. Validate a "Non-Caseload Access" message is displayed stating: User, "Client B" is not contained within your current caseload. Your access of this client will be recorded within the database. Why are you accessing "Client B"?
  8. Enter the desired value and click [OK].
  9. Validate the 'Recent Clients' list now contains "Client B" and is highlighted.
  10. Access the 'Individual Progress Note' form.
  11. Verify form opens successfully and click [Discard].
  12. Click [Clear Client].
  13. Validate the 'Recent Clients' list contains both "Client A" and "Client B".

  2. Enter any value in the 'Service Duration' field and press the 'Tab' key.
  3. Validate a dialog stating: "Please select a client."
  4. Click [OK].
  5. Validate the 'Service Duration' field is cleared.
  6. Select "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
  7. Enter any value in the 'Service Duration' field.
  8. Validate a dialog stating: "Please select an episode."
  9. Click [OK].
  10. Validate the 'Service Duration' field is cleared.
  11. Select any value in the 'Select Episode' field.
  12. Select "New Service" in the 'Progress Note For' field.

Specific Setup:
  • 'Treatment Plan Numeric' fields must be added to each section of the Tree View through 'Site Specific Section Modeling' for Avatar CWS.
  • The 'Treatment Plan' form must have document routing enabled.
  • Client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
  2. Enter the current date in the 'Plan Date' field.
  3. Select the desired date in the 'Plan Date' field.
  4. Select the desired value in the 'Plan Type' field
  5. Select "Draft" in the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  6. Click [Launch Plan].
  7. Click [Add New Problem].
  8. Populate the required fields.
  9. Enter any non-numeric characters in the 'SS Treatment Plan Problem Numeric 1' field.
  10. Validate a message is received "Invalid format entered" and Click [OK].
  11. Validate the 'SS Treatment Plan Problem Numeric 1' field does not contain a value.
  12. Enter any number in the 'SS Treatment Plan Problem Numeric 1' field.
  13. Enter any non-numeric characters in the 'SS Treatment Plan Problem Numeric 2' field.
  14. Validate a message is received "Invalid format entered" and Click [OK].
  15. Validate the 'SS Treatment Plan Problem Numeric 2' field does not contain a value.
  16. Enter any number in the 'SS Treatment Plan Problem Numeric 2' field.
  17. Repeat steps 1h-1o for 'Goal', 'Objective', and 'Intervention'.
  18. Click [Back to Plan Page].
  19. Select "Final" from the 'Treatment Plan Status' field.
  20. Click [Submit].
  21. Click [Accept].
  22. Enter the password and click [Verify].
  23. Select "Client A" and access the 'Treatment Plan' form.
  24. Select the record from the previous steps.
  25. Click [Edit] and [Yes].
  26. Validate the plan filed in the previous steps is displayed.
  27. Click [Launch Plan].
  28. Validate the 'SS Treatment Plan Numeric' field values added in the previous steps are displayed for the 'Problem', 'Goal', 'Objective', and 'Intervention' sections.
  29. Close the form.

Scenario 1: Diagnosis - Editing a diagnosis
Specific Setup:
  • Admission:
  • An existing client is identified or a new client is admitted. Note the client id/Name.
  • Diagnosis:
  • A client must have a diagnosis entered.
Steps
  1. Open the 'Diagnosis' form.
  2. Search for desired client in the 'Select Client' field.
  3. Validate results display.
  4. Select desired client from the results.
  5. Validate a Pre-Display is displayed showing existing diagnoses for the client.
  6. Select an existing diagnosis record.
  7. Click [Edit].
  8. Enter an invalid time in the 'Time of Diagnosis' field.
  9. Validate an Error message stating: "Invalid time format. HH:MM AM, HH:MM PM or HHMM military time (Midnight is 0000 hours.)"
  10. Validate the 'Time of Diagnosis' field defaults to the time that was saved prior.
  11. Change the 'Time of Diagnosis' field to the current time.
  12. Enter a different practitioner in the 'Diagnosing Practitioner' field.
  13. Select "Void" in the 'Status' field.
  14. Validate the voided diagnosis is crossed off.
  15. Navigate to the myDay view.
  16. Navigate back to the open 'Diagnosis' form.
  17. Validate the voided diagnosis is crossed off.
  18. Validate the 'Diagnosing Practitioner' contains the value entered in the previous steps.
  19. Click [Submit].
  20. Validate a Pre-Display Confirmation dialog is displayed stating: Do you want to return to Pre-Display?
  21. Click [Yes].
  22. Select desired diagnosis record.
  23. Click [Edit].
  24. Select "No" in the 'Show Active Only' field.
  25. Validate the voided diagnosis displays and is crossed off.
  26. Close the form.
Scenario 2: Allergies and Hypersensitivities - Copy and Paste
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode and have an allergy on file (Client A).
Steps
  1. Open the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
  2. Select desired client.
  3. Click [Update].
  4. Click [New Row].
  5. Select the 1st 'Allergen/Reactant' field and click [Copy Cell].
  6. Select the 2nd 'Allergen/Reactant' field and click [Paste Cell].
  7. Enter the desired value in the 'Date Recognized' field.
  8. Continue selecting fields and copy/paste with "CTRL + C" and "CTRL + V".
  9. Validate cells copy/paste as expected.
  10. Populate any desired fields.
  11. Click [Save] and [Submit].
  12. Select desired client and access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
  13. Click [Display].
  14. Validate the report displays the newly added allergy.
  15. Click [Close Report].
  16. Close the form.
Scenario 3: Server Record Maintenance
Steps
  1. Open the 'Server record Maintenance' form.
  2. Click [Launch Server Record Grid].
  3. Enter the 'Server IP', 'Server Port', 'Server Path', 'Server Name', 'Server URL' and 'Server Active status' information.
  4. Click [Save].
  5. Click [Refresh].
  6. Validate the Submitted Middleware Server Records text area contains correct information for the 'Server IP', 'Server Port', 'Server Path' and 'Server Name'.
  7. Select the 'ECP Server Record Maintenance' tab.
  8. Click [Launch ECP Server Record Grid].
  9. Enter the 'Server IP', 'Server Port' and 'Server Name' in the grid window.
  10. Click [Save].
  11. Click [Refresh].
  12. Validate the ECP Server Record text area contains correct information for the 'Server IP', 'Server Port', 'Server Path' and 'Server Name'.
  13. Shadow Server Record Maintenance
  14. Click [Launch Shadow Server Record Grid].
  15. Enter 'Server IP', 'Server Port' and 'Server Name' information in the grid window.
  16. Click [Save].

  • An existing guarantor is assigned to the client. Note the guarantor code.
  • Client Charge Input:
  • A service is rendered to the client. Note the service code and service date.
  • The charges are closed.
  • Electronic Billing:
  • An 837 Professional bill is compiled to claim the service.
  • Client Ledger:
  • The claim displays correctly.
  • Claim Adjustment Group/Reason Code Definition:
  • The group / reason code is created. Note the group reason code.
  • An 835 file is created for a claim created from the 837 professional bill. Make sure there is at least one adjustment. Note the file location path.
Steps
  1. Open the '835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice' form.
  2. Load and Compile the 835 file.
  3. Verify the file loads and compiles successfully.
  4. Select 'Work Compile' in the 'Options' field.
  5. Select the desired file that is recently compiled in above step.
  6. Click 'Launch Work Screen' button.
  7. Verify that the work screen will open successfully and the claim payment will be displayed in the grid.
  8. Right click on any row and click on the 'Insert Row' option.
  9. Verify the row is inserted.
  10. Populate data in all the columns.
  11. Save the grid.
  12. Verify the slide out is exited.
  13. Click [Process File].
  14. Verify the file is processed and saved.
  15. Select and open the same file you just saved.
  16. Verify the slide out is launched with all rows in the correct order (old rows on top and new rows at the bottom - similar to myAvatar)
  17. Click [Process File] to save changes.
  18. Verify the '835 Worklist has been saved' message.
  19. Post the 835 file.
  20. Verify message "The 835 file has been edited. Are you sure you are ready to post the edited 835?".
  21. Click [Yes].
  22. Verify the file will be posted successfully.
  23. Open the 'Client Ledger' for the client.
  24. Verify that the adjustments are posted on the ledger.

  • The users' myDay view must be configured to include the Client Information header (View A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and navigate to "View A".
  2. Hover over the 'Allergies (100)' link in the 'Client Header'.
  3. Validate a flyover displays fifteen allergies listed and 85 more.
  4. Click the 'Allergies (100)' link.
  5. Validate a menu displays and the user can scroll through all the allergies.
  6. Close the menu.
  7. Click edit icon.
  8. Validate the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form opens.
  9. Validate the edit icon no longer displays in the 'Client Header'.
  10. Discard the form.
  11. Select "Client A" and launch the 'Client Dashboard'.

  • A Documentation View must be set up on a user's view containing the 'All Documents' widget and the 'Console Widget Viewer' ('All Documents' view).
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode and has data filed for the five client alerts to display (Client A).
  • "Client A" must have allergies on file.
  • A program is defined (Program A).
  • A client is admitted in "Program A" (Client B).
  • Please note: This is for Avatar NX systems only.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Client Lookup/Header Configuration Manager' form.
  2. Validate the "Condensed Header" and "Condensed Header Override" fields display.
  3. Navigate to the 'Condensed Header' tab.
  4. Validate "Bed Board Alerts" is selected in the 'Condensed Header Field Position 2' field.
  5. Select any value in the 'Condensed Header Field Position 1' field.
  6. Select "Yes" in the 'Default Views To Condensed Header' field.
  7. Select "Yes" in the 'Default Client Entity Forms to Condensed Header' field.
  8. Validate text displays stating: "Note: This setting will default all views configured to include client information header in view to utilize the condensed header.   2. Validate no locks display.
  3. Access the 'Individual Progress Note' form.
  4. Enter and select "Client A" in the 'Select Client' field.
  5. Select any value in the 'Note Type' field.
  6. Select "Independent Note" in the 'Progress Note For' field.
  7. Enter any value in the 'Notes' field.
  8. Access the open 'Current Database Locks' form.
  9. Click [Update Display].
  10. Validate a lock displays for the note.
  11. Access the open 'Individual Progress Note' form.
  12. Click [Discard].
  13. Access the open 'Current Database Locks' form.
  14. Click [Update Display].
  15. Validate the lock no longer display.
  16. Close the form.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: OE NX - Orders This Episode - Schedule II - New, Copy, Modify, Hold, Resume, and Discontinue
Specific Setup:
  • A schedule II pharmacy-type order code must exist. (Order Code A)
  • A frequency code must be configured as a routine frequency with 2 scheduled hours of administration, one at 09:00 AM and one at 09:00 PM, through the "Frequency Code Setup' form. (Frequency Code A)
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as an allergy to "Order Code A" filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select “Client A” and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Order Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
  3. Validate a warning indicator is displayed with "At least one warning has been found with this order" link under the 'New Order' field.
  4. Set the 'Dose' field to "1".
  5. Select "Tablet" from the 'Dose Unit' field.
  6. Set the 'Duration' field to "10" and click [Days].
  7. Set the 'Start Time' field to "08:30 AM".
  8. Select "Frequency Code A" from the 'Freq' field.
  9. Validate the 'First Dose Date' field is set to "Today's Date".
  10. Validate the 'First Dose Time' field is set to "09:00 AM".
  11. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  12. Validate the 'Interactions' dialog is displayed with an allergy interaction for "Ritalin".
  13. Override the interaction and click [Save Override and Exit].
  14. Validate the 'Order grid' contains an order for "Order Code A".
  15. Select "Order Code A" and click [Copy].
  16. Validate a message is displayed stating "Do you want the new order to default to START AFTER the original orders end? (The alternative is to have the new order default to start now.)" and click [Yes].

Specific Setup:
  • A frequency code must exist that has the following configuration:(Every 2 Days at 08:00 AM)
  • 'Routine or PRN(As Needed)' is set to "Routine"
  • 'One Time Only' is set to "No"
  • 'Interval Frequency' is set to "No"
  • 'Daily Administration' is set to "Not Daily"
  • 'Every Nth Day' is set to "2"
  • 'Times/24 Hours' is set to "1".
  • 'Hours of Administration (Check appropriate hours of administration, if any.) has "08:00" selected under 'AM(06:00-11: 30 AM)'.
  • An order group must contain a pharmacy-type order code (Order Code A) that has a 'Frequency Code' of "Every 2 Days at 08:00 AM" and a 'Duration (Days)' set to "6". (Order Group A)
  • A client must have an active inpatient episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
  • Note: For Testing purposes the current time is after 08:00 AM.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Order Group A".
  3. Validate the 'Order Group' dialog is displayed.
  4. Select "Order Code A" and enter a 'Dose' of "1" and a 'Dose Unit' of "Tablet".
  5. Validate the 'Frequency' field contains "Every 2 Days at 08:00 AM", the 'Duration' field contains "6" and that [Days] is selected.
  6. Click [Add to Scratchpad].
  7. Validate the 'Scratchpad' contains an order for "Order Code A".
  8. Select the order.
  9. Validate the 'Freq' field contains "Every 2 Days at 08:00 AM".
  10. Validate the 'First Dose Date' field contains a date that is two days in the future of the current date.

  • 'Routine or PRN(As Needed)' is set to "Routine"
  • 'One Time Only' is set to "Yes"
  • 'Interval Frequency' is set to "No"
  • 'Daily Administration' is set to "Not Daily"
  • 'Days Administered' has "Tuesday", "Thursday", and "Saturday" checked.
  • 'Times/24 Hours' is set to "1"
  • "08:00" is checked in the 'AM(06:00-11:30 AM) field under 'Hours of Administration (Check appropriate hours of administration, if any)'.
  • An interval frequency code must exist. (Frequency Code B)
  • An order group must exist that contains the following orders: (Order Group A)
  • A pharmacy-type order code (Order Code A) with a 'Frequency Code' set to "Frequency Code A".
  • A pharmacy-type order code (Order Code B) with a 'Frequency Code' set to "TWICE A DAY", which is "Daily" and has 'Scheduled Hours of Administration' of "09:00 AM" and "09:00 PM" and has the 'Yes' checkbox is checked in the 'Default To Selected When Selecting Orders From Order Group' field.
  • A client must have an active inpatient episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Order Group A" in the 'New Order' field.
  3. Validate the 'Order Group' dialog is displayed and contains "Order Code A" and "Order Code B".
  4. Validate that "Order Code A" is not selected by default.
  5. Validate the checkbox for "Order Code B" is selected.
  6. Set the 'Dose' field to "1".
  7. Select "Tablet" in the 'Dose Unit' field.
  8. Validate the 'Freq' field contains "TWICE A DAY".
  9. Set the 'Freq' field to "Frequency Code B" and validate that the 'Start Date/Time' field changes to 'First Dose Date/Time'.
  10. Set the 'Freq' field back to "TWICE A DAY" and validate that the 'First Dose Date/Time' field changes back to 'Start Date/Time'.
  11. Set the 'Duration' to any value and click [Days].
  12. Validate the 'Start Date' field contains the current date.

  14. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].

Scenario 1: OE NX - Home Medications - Reported orders containing line breaks
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Default to Client Reported in Home Medications' field in the 'Order Entry User Definition' form or the 'Order Entry User Role' form must have "Client Reported" checked. Please log out and back in after setting this value.
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select any client and access the 'Order Entry Console'.
  2. Select 'Home Medications'.
  3. Validate that 'Client Reported' is checked.
  4. Set the 'New Order' field to any medication. (ex. PriLOSEC 20 MG Capsule, Delayed Release Oral)
  5. Set the 'Dose' field to "1"
  6. Validate the 'Dose Unit' field contains "Capsule".
  7. Select "Twice a Day" in the 'Frequency' field.
  8. Validate that the 'Start Date' contains the current date.
  9. Validate that the 'Stop Date' does not contain a value.
  10. Validate that the 'Directions' field contains: Take one (1) capsule by mouth twice a day.
  11. Set the 'Directions' field to: Take one [line break] (1) capsule by mouth [line break] twice a day.
  12. Validate that the 'Reported Source' field is enabled, not required and does not have a value selected.
  13. Click [Save].
  14. Validate that the 'Order grid' contains the new order.
  15. Validate that "Client Reported" and 'Rx ID: [unique value]' are displayed in the 'Order Type' column.
  16. Validate that 'Order Details' contains the following: PriLOSEC - 20 MG, ECC, PO - Take one (1) capsule by mouth twice a day.
  17. Click the 'Medication history reviewed and completed for Episode #1' checkbox.
  18. Click the [Admission Med Reconciliation] tab.
  19. Select the reported order created and click [Add to Scratchpad].
  20. Validate there is a missing required field flag for the order in the 'Inpatient Medications Scratchpad'.
  21. Populate the 'Duration' field and click [Days].
  22. Click [Update Order] and [Reconcile and Sign].

Scenario 2: OE NX - Manual Give Initial Dose Now - '(524) Require Hours of Administration for Routine Orders' is required
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Avatar Order Entry->Facility Defaults->Client Profile->->->'First Dose' adjustment allowed when 'Give Initial Dose Now'' registry setting must be set to "60".
  • The '(524) Require Hours of Administration for Routine Orders' extended attribute must be set to "Hours of Administration are required for Routine orders" in the Order Entry Tabled Files ‘(500) Order Types’ dictionary for “Pharmacy”.
  • A frequency code (Frequency Code A) must be configured with a 'Routine or PRN(As Needed)' set to "Routine", with scheduled hour(s) of administration set to "08:00 AM" and 'Default Give Initial Dose Now' set to "No" in the 'Frequency Code Setup' form
  • Please log out of and back into the application after completing the above configuration.

  • A pharmacy type order code must exist. (Order Code A)
  • A client must have an inpatient episode whose program or unit are configured in the ‘External Pharmacy Setup’ form. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select “Client A” and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Select the ‘Admission Medication Reconciliation’ tab.
  3. Search for and select "Order Code A" in the ‘New Order’ field.
  4. Click [Taper/Titrate].
  5. Validate that 'Calendar' is selected.
  6. Click [24-hr].
  7. Click the ‘Add Step’ link.

Steps
  1. Navigate to the 'Medical Note' widget and validate the existence of 'Today's E&M Appointments/Notes'.
  2. Validate that the existing appointment is displayed for new "Client A" in 'Today's E&M Appointments/Notes'.
  3. Select "Client A" and validate the 'Facesheet' tab displays for "Client A".
  4. Validate the header displays "Client A" and their picture.
  5. Navigate to the "View A", validate the client header contains "Client A" and their picture.

Specific Setup:
  • An order group must contain a pharmacy-type order code with an interval frequency. (Order Group A)
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Search for and select "Order Group A" and select the pharmacy-type order code with the interval frequency.
  3. Validate 'Custom' is not displayed next to the 'Frequency' field.
  4. Click [Add to Scratchpad].
  5. Select the order from the 'Scratchpad' and validate 'Custom' is not displayed next to the 'Frequency'.

  3. Set the 'Frequency' field to an interval frequency code.
  4. Validate 'Custom' is not displayed.
  5. Populate all fields except the 'Duration' field.
  6. Click the 'Add to Favorites' star button then [Refresh].
  7. Click 'My Favorites', select the order and click [Add to Scratchpad].
  8. Validate there is a missing required field flag for the order.
