Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Crystal Report Viewer
  • ZIP Code Table Maintenance (PM)
Scenario 1: 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' - validate report displays
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
  2. Click [Update] and [New Row].
  3. Enter the desired value in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field.
  4. Enter the desired date in the 'Date Recognized' field.
  5. Select any value in the 'Status' field.
  6. Select any value in the 'Reactions' field.
  7. Click [Save].
  8. Populate desired or required fields and submit the form.
  9. Select "Client A" and access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
  10. Click [Display].
  11. Validate the Crystal report opens in a new window and contains the current date and allergy entry.
  12. Click [Print Report].
  13. Validate the report opens as a PDF in a new browser tab.
  14. Click [Print].
  15. Validate the PDF report has access to your local printers and that the user can save as a PDF as well.
  16. Click [Cancel].
  17. Close the PDF report tab.
  18. Switch back to the Crystal Report window.
  19. Click [Export].
  20. Select "Adobe Acrobat (PDF)" in the 'Select A Format' field.
  21. Select "All" in the 'Page Range' field and click [OK].
  22. Validate the report downloads.
  23. Click [Close Report].
  24. Switch back to the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
  25. Close the form.
Scenario 2: Zip Code Table Maintenance - Launch reports with multiple logged in users
Specific Setup:
  • There must be two users defined (User A & User B).
Steps
  1. Login as "User A" and access the 'ZIP Code Table Maintenance' form.
  2. Open a second tab for Avatar NX.
  3. Login as "User B" and access the 'ZIP Code Table Maintenance' form.
  4. Select 'Print ZIP Code Table'
  5. Select "Individual" in the 'Individual or All States' field.
  6. Select any state from the 'Specific State' field.
  7. Click [Print Zip Code Table].
  8. Validate the Crystal report opens in a new window with the correct state data.
  9. Switch to "User A".
  10. Select 'Print ZIP Code Table'
  11. Select "Individual" in the 'Individual or All States' field.
  12. Select a different state from the 'Specific State' field.
  13. Click [Print Zip Code Table].
  14. Validate the Crystal report opens in a new window with the correct state data.
  15. Click [Print Report].
  16. Validate the report opens as a PDF in a new browser tab with the correct state data.
  17. Switch to "User B" report.
  18. Click [Print Report].
  19. Validate the report opens as a PDF in a new browser tab with the correct state data.
  20. Close the PDF report tab.
  21. Switch back to the Crystal Report window.
  22. Click [Close Report].
  23. Switch to the 'ZIP Code table Maintenance' form.
  24. Close the form.
  25. Close out of windows for "User A".
Scenario 3: ZIP Code Table Maintenance - Validate export functionality
Specific Setup:
  • User must have the appropriate programs installed to open the following file types:
  • Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
  • Crystal Report (RPT)
  • Microsoft Excel (XLS)
  • Microsoft Word (RTF)
  • Separated Values (CSV)
  • Tab Separated Text (TTX)
  • Text (TXT)
Steps
  1. Access the 'ZIP Code Table Maintenance' form.
  2. Select the 'Print ZIP Code Table' field.
  3. Select "All" in the 'Individual or All States' field.
  4. Click [Print Zip Code Table].
  5. Switch to the 'ZIP Code Table Maintenance' report.
  6. Validate the Crystal report opens in a new window and contains the current date and time.
  7. Validate "RADplus_ZIP_Table.rpt" displays as the window title.
  8. Click [Export].
  9. Select "Adobe Acrobat (PDF)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  10. Validate "All" is selected from the 'Page Range List' field.
  11. Validate the "From Page" field is disabled.
  12. Click [OK].
  13. Validate the PDF downloads.
  14. Open the PDF file.
  15. Validate the entire report displays.
  16. Close the report.
  17. Select "Page Range" from the 'Page Range List' field.
  18. Enter the desired values in the 'From Page' and 'To Page' fields.
  19. Click [OK].
  20. Validate the PDF downloads.
  21. Open the PDF file.
  22. Validate the report displays the correct pages.
  23. Close the report.
  24. Select "Crystal Reports (RPT)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  25. Validate "All" is selected from the 'Page Range List' field.
  26. Click [OK].
  27. Open the RPT file.
  28. Validate the entire report displays.
  29. Close the report.
  30. Select "Microsoft Excel (XLS)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  31. Validate "Column width based on objects in the:" is selected in the 'Column Width' field.
  32. Validate "All" is selected from the 'Page Range List' field.
  33. Click [OK].
  34. Validate the XLS downloads.
  35. Open the XLS file.
  36. Validate the entire report displays.
  37. Close the report.
  38. Select "Constant column width (in points):" from the 'Column Width' field.
  39. Select "From" from the 'Page Range List' field.
  40. Enter the desired values in the 'From Page' and 'To Page' fields.
  41. Click [OK].
  42. Validate the XLS downloads.
  43. Open the XLS file.
  44. Validate the report displays the correct pages.
  45. Close the report.
  46. Select "Microsoft Word (RTF)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  47. Validate "All" is selected from the 'Page Range List' field.
  48. Click [OK].
  49. Validate the RTF downloads.
  50. Open the RTF file.
  51. Validate the entire report displays.
  52. Close the report.
  53. Select "Page Range:" in the 'Format Options' field.
  54. Enter the desired values in the 'From Page' and 'To Page' fields.
  55. Click [OK].
  56. Validate the RTF downloads.
  57. Open the RTF file.
  58. Validate the report displays the correct pages.
  59. Close the report.
  60. Select "Microsoft Word - Editable (RTF)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  61. Validate "All" is selected from the 'Page Range List' field.
  62. Click [OK].
  63. Validate the RTF downloads.
  64. Open the RTF file.
  65. Validate the entire report displays.
  66. Close the report.
  67. Select "Page Range:" in the 'Format Options' field.
  68. Enter the desired values in the 'From Page' and 'To Page' fields.
  69. Click [OK].
  70. Validate the RTF downloads.
  71. Open the RTF file.
  72. Validate the report displays the correct pages.
  73. Close the report.
  74. Select "Separated Values (CSV)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  75. Click [OK].
  76. Validate the CSV downloads.
  77. Open the CSV file.
  78. Validate the entire report displays.
  79. Close the report.
  80. Select "Tab Separated Text (TTX)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  81. Click [OK].
  82. Validate the TTX downloads.
  83. Open the TTX file.
  84. Validate the entire report displays.
  85. Close the report.
  86. Select "Text (TXT)" in the 'Format Options' field.
  87. Validate the 'Characters per inch:' field contains "12".
  88. Validate the 'Number of lines per page:' field contains "60".
  89. Click [OK].
  90. Validate the TXT downloads.
  91. Open the TXT file.
  92. Validate the entire report displays.
  93. Close the report.
  94. Select "XML" in the 'Format Options' field.
  95. Click [OK].
  96. Validate the XML downloads.
  97. Click [Cancel].
  98. Validate the export options no longer display.
  99. Close the report and the form.
