Avatar NX Report Viewer - Report Definition Reports
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Avatar NX Report Viewer
- Print Treatment Plan
- Crystal Report Viewer
- Treatment/Discharge Summary
- Master Client Inquiry
- Group Attendance Report
- Provider Service List Report
Scenario 1: Print a 'Draft' and a 'Final' Treatment plan using the 'Print Treatment Plan' form.
Specific Setup:
- User must have access to the form 'Print Treatment Plan' in the 'Select Forms for User Access' of the 'Forms and Tables' section of 'User Definition'.
- A client must exist in an active episode with a Treatment Plan filed in draft and final status (Client A).
Steps
- Select 'Client A' and access the 'Print Treatment Plan' form.
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
- Select any value from the 'Select Treatment Plan' field.
- Select any draft value from the 'Select Client Plan' field.
- Click [Print Treatment Plan].
- Validate that the report opens in a new window and displays the data as expected.
- Click [Close Report].
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
- Select any value from the 'Select Treatment Plan' field.
- Select any final value from the 'Select Client Plan' field.
- Click [Print Treatment Plan].
- Validate that the report opens in a new window and displays the data as expected.
- Click [Close Report].
Scenario 2: Avatar NX: Crystal Reports with multiple ODBC connections for cache databases
Specific Setup:
- A crystal report with multiple ODBC connections (ex. PM, CWS) must exist in the system (ex. 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' form contains, 'Treatment Discharge Summary' report and the 'Referral Letter' report).
- A report definition report must exist in the system with multiple ODBC Connections (ex. CWS, PM)
- A client must have data filed in the 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' form in the 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' and 'Referral' sections (Client A).
Steps
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' widget and access any form that has a report with multiple ODBC connections (PM, CWS) - (ex. 'Treatment/Discharge Summary').
- Select any episode from the 'Select Episode' field.
- Select any record from the 'Select Record' field.
- Click [Edit].
- Validate that a 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' displays stating "This summary is marked as Final. Changes are not allowed. Do you want to continue?".
- Click [Yes].
- Select the 'Referral' tab.
- Validate that a 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' displays stating "This summary is marked as Final. Changes are not allowed".
- Click [OK].
- Click [Print Referral Letter].
- Validate the Crystal Report displays the data for Client A as expected.
- Click [Close Report].
- Select the 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' tab.
- Click [Submit].
- Validate that a 'Treatment/Discharge Summary' message is displayed stating "The selected summary was previously marked as Final. Changes are not allowed. Would you like to view the Treatment/Discharge Summary report?".
- Click [Yes]
- Validate the Crystal Report displays the data for Client A as expected.
- Click [Close Report].
Scenario 3: Report Definition - Sub Reports (Master Client Inquiry)
Specific Setup:
- Client must be admitted to an active episode (Client A).
Steps
- Select "Client A" from the 'My Clients' list and access the 'Master Client Inquiry' form.
- Validate that Client A's name appears in the 'Select Patient' field.
- Select any value from the 'Select Episode Number' field.
- Click [Process].
- Select the 'Diagnosis History' link in the sub report.
- Validate that the 'Diagnosis History Data' displays as expected.
- Select the 'Episode History' link in the sub report.
- Validate that the 'Episode History Data' displays as expected.
- Select the 'Main Report' tab.
- Click [Close Report].
- Click [Discard].
Scenario 4: Report Definition Report Validation
Specific Setup:
- A modeled 'Report Definition' report must be configured in the system.
Steps
- Access the 'Group Attendance Report' form.
- Select the desired value in the RRG field
- Set the 'Note Start Date' field to the desired date.
- Set the 'Note End Date' field to the desired date.
- Click [Process].
- Validate that the crystal report displays the 'Group Attendance Report' data as expected.
- Click [Close Report].
- Click [Discard].
- Access the 'Provider Service List Report' form.
- Select the desired value in the 'Staff' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Service Code' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Level of Care' field.
- Set the 'Start Date' field to the desired date.
- Set the 'End Date' field to the desired date.
- Click [Process].
- Validate that the crystal report displays the 'Provider Service List Report' data as expected.
- Click [Close Report].
- Click [Discard].
