Avatar Mobile 2023 is Installed
Scenario 1: Validate Upgrading Avatar Mobile 2022 to 2023 is successful when 2022.02.01 is loaded
Specific Setup:
- Latest Monthly Release is installed.
Steps
- Open the "Product Updates" form.
- Select the appropriate [Namespace] from the Application dropdown list
- Click [Select Update/Customization Pack].
- Browse to the location for the updates and select the Update 1.
- Click [OK] on the "File Upload Complete" window.
- Click [Review Update/Customization Pack Contents].
- Verify Update 1 is included.
- Click [Install Update/Customization Pack].
- Click [OK] when the install completes.
- Click [Close Form].

"CarePOV.Clinician" application - form designer changes
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Form Designer (PM)
- Mobile Application Build
Scenario 1: AvatarNX<>Clinician: Validate synchronization and display of Form Designer changes
Specific Setup:
- Have "CarePOV.Clinician 2023.1.2.0" and "Avatar Mobile 2023 Update 2"
- Have a form [TestForm] that contains two sections [Sections1] and [Section2], each with several desired field types on the page.
- For this test, [TestForm] contains
- [Section One] contains
- [FieldA] a date field
- [FieldB] a scrolling text field
- [FieldC] a multiple select dictionary type field
- [Section Two] contains:
- [FieldD] a client lookup field
- [FieldE] an integer type field
- [FieldF] a single select dictionary type field
- User has access to form "Form Designer"
Steps
- In Avatar NX, open the "Form Designer" form
- Select [TestForm] from the "Forms" field
- Select [Section1] from the "Sections" field
- Click [Show Section]
- Click [FieldA]
- Drag the field to the right side of the form
- Click the [FieldB]
- On the left side panel, navigate to "General" section
- Click the "Text" editor button
- Set the name of the field label to a new name value
- Click "Save"
- Click [FieldC]
- On the left side panel, navigate to "General" section
- Uncheck the "Visible" checkbox
- Validate the field is removed from the form
- Click the [Save] button to save the section changes
- Select [Section2] from the "Sections" field
- Click the [Show Section] button
- Click [FieldF]
- Validate the radio buttons are displayed horizontally
- On the left side panel, navigate to "General" section
- Select "Vertical" from the "Radio/Checkbox Layout" drop down list
- Validate the radio buttons are now displayed vertically
- Click the [Add New Subsection] button
- Validate a new sub section [Subsection2] is displayed under the current section
- Click [FieldE]
- On the left side panel, navigate to "General" section
- Select "2" from the "Subsection" field
- Validate [FieldE] has been moved to [Subsection2]
- Click [FieldF], the multi-value dictionary field that contains three values
- On the left side panel, navigate to "General" section
- Navigate to the "Show/Hide" section
- Select the [ValueA] row and uncheck "Label" checkbox
- Validate the label name for [ValueA] in [FieldF] is now hidden
- Click the [Save] button at the bottom of the form to save the changes
- Submit the form
- Validate submission is successful
- Open form "Mobile Application Build"
- In forms section, select form [TestForm] to be included
- Submit the form
- Validate the form files successfully
- Open the "Clinician" application and login
- Click to "Synchronize" with Avatar
- Validate synchronization is successful
- At the main menu
- Open [TestForm] and select any client
- Validate all the form designer changes made in steps 1 and 2 are displayed as expected on the form
- Populate the desired fields on the form
- Submit the form
- Validate submission is successful
- Click to "Sync" changes the Avatar
- Validate synchronization is successful
- Log back in Avatar
- Open [TestForm]
- Select the row submitted in Clinician
- Validate fields are populated as expected

CarePOV.Clinician - synchronization time

Scenario 1: Clinician<>Avatar: Validate synchronization of "Service Code" data
Specific Setup:
- Have "CarePOV.Clinician 2023.1.2.0", "Avatar Mobile 2023 Update 3" and "Avatar CWS 2023 Update 67" installed
- Have a system with many services codes set up (for example, over a hundred) in form "Service Codes", some that are 'active' and some that are 'inactive'.
- Set registry setting "Allow Selection Of Inactive Service Codes With Defined Fees For Date Of Service" to "Yes"
- Have access to the "Service Codes" form and the "Mobile Application Build" form
- Have access the "Registry Settings" form
Steps
- In Avatar,
- Open form "Service Codes"
- Select "Add"
- Populate the required fields
- Submit the form
- Open the "Mobile Application Build" form
- Select any desired forms
- Submit the form
- Validate the form files successfully
- Launch the "Clinician" application
- Configure the settings to connect to the testing database
- Log in with proper credentials
- At the home screen, click the arrow in the bottom left corner
- Click "Synchronize" with Avatar
- Validate synchronization is successful
- Enter any "Progress Note" and file a "New Service" progress note
- Submit the form
- At the home screen, click the arrow in the bottom left corner
- Click "Synchronize" with Avatar
- Validate synchronization is successful
- In Avatar,
- Open form "Service Codes"
- Click to the "Service Code Report" section
- Select "All"
- Click [Display Service Codes]
- Validate all codes are display as expected, including the new code entered in step 1
- Open form "Registry Settings"
- Search for setting "Allow Selection Of Inactive Service Codes With Defined Fees For Date Of Service"
- Set the registry setting to "No"
- Submit the form
- Repeat steps 1 thru 5
- Validate results are as expected
