    An issue is resolved in the 'Claims Adjudication Rules Definition' form to ensure that Limit Rules using Procedure Code/Revenue Code/Procedure Code Group values including dashes (-) are correctly filed.
  • Avatar MSO 'Performing Provider Registration' form
    The 'Performing Provider Registration' form is updated to not allow registration date to be modified to a later date if the Performing Provider is associated to a Contracting Provider.
  • Avatar MSO 'Claims Adjudication Rules Definition' Form
    An issue is resolved in the 'Claims Adjudication Rules Definition' form to ensure that Limit Rules including Diagnosis Code value may be removed via the 'Remove Selected Rule' button/action.

Product Update Form Description
The following modifications are made: 1) Resolves issues in the 'Claims Adjudication Rules Definition' form where the form fails to file limit rules for procedure/revenue codes with dashes, and also fails to return when attempting to remove a limit rule with a diagnosis code. 2) The 'Performing Provider Registration' form is modified to not allow registration date to be modified to a later date if the performing provider is associated to a contracting provider.

This problem only occurs for services with fee over-rides.

    Automated 837 Health Care Claim processing is updated to use file names and ignore file paths.
    Avatar MSO inbound 837 Professional and Institutional Health Care Claim file processing duplicate file validation will consider duplicate files by file names alone, to ensure that distinct files with same file name are not processed more than once in case where inbound processing directory is updated.
  • '837 Health Care Claim Institutional' Invalid Data Handling
    An issue is resolved to ensure that 837 Institutional inbound files/claims containing an invalid 2300 DTP Admission Date value are compiled without a system error and display invalid segment/value information.

    Performance improvements have been made in Avatar MSO background task processing; No visible changes to system users will be reflected in this update.

Product Update Form Description
The following updates are included: 1) The duplicate file check for MSO 837 Professional and Institutional files are updated to use file names and ignore file paths. 2) MSO Background job checks are updated. 3)An issue is resolved where the error "RADPlusException: [Illegal Value]Compile1+464^EB837ICompile" would occur when an invalid admission date is specified in an 837 Institutional file.

    Registry Setting 'Enable Multiple Service Date Entry' has been added to Avatar MSO. When enabled, this Registry Setting will allow for the entry of service data to apply to multiple dates or to a date range in MSO Claim Processing forms.
    Where enabled, Avatar MSO Registry Setting 'Enable Multiple Service Date Entry' will add the following fields to Avatar MSO Claim Processing forms ('Claim Processing (CMS 1500)', 'Claim Processing (UB-04)', 'Fast Service Entry', 'Fast Service Entry Submission', 'Foster Care Service Entry') to allow for multiple date service entry: * 'Select Dates Option' * 'From Date' * 'Through Date' * 'Exclude Weekends' * 'Select Dates' * 'Create Service(s) For Selected Dates' button
