Administration messages are displayed in HL7 Outbound Transaction Log
Scenario 1: Administration of an order in eMAR is sent to RxConnect via an HL7 RAS message.
Specific Setup:
  • An 'ORDER-RXCONNECT' connection must be configured.
  • A client must have an active order. (Client A)
Steps
  1. Select "Client A", access Avatar eMAR and administer the order.
  2. Access the 'HL7 Connection Monitor' form.
  3. Select "ORDERS-RXCONNECT outbound connection" in the 'Select Row' field.
  4. In the 'Search Pattern 1' field enter "Client A's" first name.
  5. In the 'Search Pattern 2' field enter "Client A's" last name.
  6. Click [Show Transaction Log].
  7. Verify the 'HL7 Outbound Transaction Log' report is displayed.
  8. Validate the 'Event Type' is "RAS^O01".
  9. Close the report and the form.
