Product Update Form Description

The following changes are made: 1) The new field 'Address Start Date' is added to the 'Admission' and 'Update Client Data' forms. The SQL tables 'SYSTEM.patient_current_demographics', 'SYSTEM.patient_demographic_history', Client Admission and Client Demographics web services are updated accordingly. 2) The new extended dictionaries 'Encounter Discharge (FHIR)' off of the 'Type Of Discharge' dictionary (Client File, field# 970), 'Program (FHIR)' off of the 'Treatment Service' dictionary (Client File, field# 101), and 'Service Type (FHIR)' off of the 'RRG' dictionary (Client File, field# 1141) are added.

The 'Address Start Date' field is added to the demographics section of the 'Admission', 'Admission (Outpatient)', 'Discharge', 'Discharge (Outpatient)', 'Pre Admit', 'Pre Admit Discharge', 'Call Intake', and 'Update Client Data' forms. The 'SYSTEM.patient_current_demographics' SQL table, 'SYSTEM.patient_demographic_history' SQL table, 'Client Admission' web service, and 'Client Demographics' web service are updated accordingly.
In addition, new extended dictionaries are added for the following dictionaries:
- "Encounter Discharge (FHIR)" off of the 'Type of Discharge' dictionary.
- "Program (FHIR)" off of the 'Treatment Service' dictionary.
- "Service Type (FHIR)" off of the 'RRG' dictionary.

Scenario 1: 'Admission' form - Field Validation
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Admission' form.
  2. Select an existing episode and click [Edit].
  3. Ensure that 'Address Start Date' field is present in the 'Demographics' section of the 'Admission' form.
  4. Enter a value in 'Address Start Date' field. Note that entering future dates will generate a pop up message indicating future dates are not allowed. Invalid dates will generate a pop-up message indicating the format is not valid.
  5. Enter/select values for all other required/desired fields in form.
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Select "Client A" and access the 'Admission' form.
  8. Select an existing episode and click [Edit].
  9. Validate the 'Address Start Date' field displays 'Address Start Date' value from previously filed record.
  10. Close the form.
  11. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL reporting tool.
  12. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_current_demographics' SQL table.
  13. Validate the 'address_start_date' field is present and contains the previously filed value.
  14. Close the report.
  15. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_demographic_history' SQL table.
  16. Validate the 'address_start_date' field is present and contains the previously filed value.

Scenario 2: 'Admission (Outpatient)' - field validation
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing outpatient episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Admission (Outpatient)' form.
  2. Select an existing episode and click [Edit].
  3. Ensure that 'Address Start Date' field is present in the 'Demographics' section of the 'Admission (Outpatient)' form.
  4. Enter a value in 'Address Start Date' field. Note that entering future dates will generate a pop up message indicating future dates are not allowed. Invalid dates will generate a pop-up message indicating the format is not valid.

  6. Click [Submit].

Specific Setup:

  12. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_current_demographics' SQL table.
  13. Validate the 'address_start_date' field is present and contains the previously filed value.

  2. Select the existing call intake record and click [Edit].
  3. Ensure that 'Address Start Date' field is present in the 'Demographics' section of the 'Call Intake' form.
  4. Enter a value in 'Address Start Date' field. Note that entering future dates will generate a pop up message indicating future dates are not allowed. Invalid dates will generate a pop-up message indicating the format is not valid.
  5. Enter/select values for all other required/desired fields in form.
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Select "Client A" and access the 'Call Intake' form.
  8. SaveSelect the existing call intake record and click [Edit].
  9. Validate the 'Address Start Date' field displays 'Address Start Date' value from previously filed record.
  10. Close the form.
  11. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL reporting tool.
  12. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_current_demographics' SQL table.
  13. Validate the 'address_start_date' field is present and contains the previously filed value.
  14. Close the report.
  15. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_demographic_history' SQL table.
  16. Validate the 'address_start_date' field is present and contains the previously filed value.

Scenario 8: 'Update Client Data' form - Verification of 'Client Demographics' form fields
Specific Setup:

  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Update Client Data' form.
  2. Ensure that 'Address Start Date' field is present.
  3. Enter a value in 'Address Start Date' field. Note that entering future dates will generate a pop up message indicating future dates are not allowed. Invalid dates will generate a pop-up message indicating the format is not valid.
  4. Populate any other desired fields.
  5. Click [Submit].
  6. Select "Client A" and access the 'Update Client Data' form.
  7. Validate the 'Address Start Date' field displays 'Address Start Date' value from previously filed record.
  8. Close the form.
  9. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL reporting tool.
  10. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_current_demographics' SQL table.
  11. Validate the 'address_start_date' field is present and contains the previously filed value.
  12. Close the report.
  13. Create a report using the 'SYSTEM.patient_demographic_history' SQL table.

Specific Setup:
  • External application utilizing the Avatar Cal-PM 'ClientDemographics' web service.
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode.
Steps
  1. In use of the Avatar Cal-PM Client Demographics web service (WEBSVC.ClientDemographics.cls), ensure that the following items/elements are present in web service definition for UpdateClientDemographics method:

  3. ClientAddressState ('Client's Address - State')
  4. ClientAddressStreet ('Client's Address - Street')
  5. ClientAddressZipcode ('Client's Address - Zipcode')
  6. Address Start Date ('Address Start Date')
  7. Submit Client Demographics 'UpdateClientDemographics' web service request.
  8. In Client Demographics web service response, ensure that successful filing confirmation message is returned (including client/episode information).

Scenario 11: Cal-PM - Dictionary Update - Validate the 'Type Of Discharge' dictionary
Specific Setup:
  • Existing dictionary values on file for the 'Client' - '(970) Type of Discharge' dictionary.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Dictionary Update' form.
  2. Select "Client" in the 'File' field.
  3. Select "(970) Type of Discharge" in the 'Data Element' field.
  4. Enter an existing code in the 'Dictionary Code' field.
  5. Validate the 'Dictionary Value' field populates accordingly.
  6. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field contains "(739) Encounter Discharge (FHIR)" and select it.
  7. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
  8. Click [Apply Changes].
  9. Validate a message is displayed stating: Filed!
  10. Click [OK].
  11. Select the "Print Dictionary" section.
  12. Select "Client" in the 'File' field.
  13. Select "Individual Data Element" in the 'Individual or All Data Elements' field.
  14. Select "(970) Type of Discharge" in the 'Data Element' field.
  15. Click [Print Dictionary].
  16. Validate the report displays the updated dictionary with the "(739) Encounter Discharge (FHIR)" extended dictionary value populated.
  17. Close the report and the form.
Scenario 12: Cal-PM - Dictionary Update - Validate the 'Treatment Service' dictionary
Specific Setup:
  • Existing dictionary values on file for the 'Client' - '(101) Treatment Service' dictionary.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Dictionary Update' form.
  2. Select "Client" in the 'File' field.
  3. Select "(101) Treatment Service" in the 'Data Element' field.
  4. Enter an existing code in the 'Dictionary Code' field.
  5. Validate the 'Dictionary Value' field populates accordingly.
  6. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field contains "(740) Program (FHIR)" and select it.
  7. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
  8. Click [Apply Changes].
  9. Validate a message is displayed stating: Filed!
  10. Click [OK].
  11. Select the "Print Dictionary" section.
  12. Select "Client" in the 'File' field.
  13. Select "Individual Data Element" in the 'Individual or All Data Elements' field.
  14. Select "(101) Treatment Service" in the 'Data Element' field.
  15. Click [Print Dictionary].
  16. Validate the report displays the updated dictionary with the "(740) Program (FHIR)" extended dictionary value populated.
  17. Close the report and the form.

  3. Select "(1141) RRG" in the 'Data Element' field.
  4. Enter an existing code in the 'Dictionary Code' field.
  5. Validate the 'Dictionary Value' field populates accordingly.
  6. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field contains "(741) Service Type (FHIR)" and select it.
  7. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
  8. Click [Apply Changes].
  9. Validate a message is displayed stating: Filed!
  10. Click [OK].
  11. Select the "Print Dictionary" section.
  12. Select "Client" in the 'File' field.
