Medications Dispensed Widget - Console Widget Viewer
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Medications Dispensed
  • Client Chart
  • Console Widget Configuration (CWS)
  • View Definition
  • Site Registration - Assign ID
Scenario 1: 'Medications Dispensed' Widget validation of order name display.
Specific Setup:
  • 'Medications Dispensed' widget is added to a logged in user's home view.
  • 'Medications Dispensed' form is added to Chart view.
  • Registry Setting 'Avatar CWS->Other Chart Entry->Medications Dispensed->>>Select Medication from Avatar OE Order Codes' is set to 'Y''. This setting will use the Avatar OE Order Codes table. This will update the 'Medications Dispensed' option to include the 'Medication Order Code' lookup field and will remove the 'Medication Name' dictionary search field. Avatar OE must be installed in order to select 'Y'. Note that once this registry setting is set to 'Y' and OE Medications are selected, the setting can no longer be reset to 'N'.
Steps
  1. Select any client "Client A" and access the 'Medications Dispensed' form.
  2. Populate the required fields selecting any medication from the 'Medication Order Code' field.
  3. File the form.
  4. Validate the correct medication and order code are displayed.
  5. Access "Client A's" chart view.
  6. Click the 'Medications Dispensed' link.
  7. Validate the correct medication and order code are displayed.
Scenario 2: Console Widget Configuration - Medications Dispensed
Specific Setup:
  • Using the "Console Widget Configuration" form:
  • Select the "Medications Dispensed [CWS10400]".
  • Add or Edit an existing configuration to include the following field in the widget.
  • Dispensed Date
  • Dispensed Time
  • Medication Order Code
  • Dosage
  • Route
  • Site
  • Dispensed By
  • Manufacturer
  • Dispense Type
  • Add the "Medications Dispensed" and the "Console Widget Viewer" to the user's home view, using "View Definition".
Steps
  1. Open the "Medications Dispensed" form.
  2. Add a new medication to be dispensed and fill in all fields.
  3. Add another new medication but don't fill in all fields.
  4. Navigate to the "Medications Dispensed" widget.
  5. Validate the medications entered previously appear in the widget.
  6. View each medication to validate the data.

Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'LOCUS Data Entry and Calculation' form.
  2. Validate the LOCUS Rating Date' field contains the current date.
  3. Validate the 'LOCUS Rating Time' field contains the current time.
  4. Validate the 'Rater' field contains "Practitioner A".
  5. Select the desired value(s) in the '2. Low Risk of Harm' field.
  6. Validate the 'I. Risk of Harm' field contains "2".
  7. Select the desired value(s) in the '2. Mild Impairment' field.
  8. Validate the 'II. Functional Status' field contains "2".
  9. Select the desired value(s) in the '2. Minor Co-Morbidity' field.
  10. Validate the 'III. Co-Morbidity' field contains "2".

  29. Validate a Pre-Display is displayed with the assessment filed in the previous steps.
  30. Click [Edit].
  31. Validate all previously filed data is displayed.
  32. Click [Calculate Level of Care Recommendation].
  33. Validate the 'LOCUS Recommended Disposition' field contains "Level 2 - Low Intensity Community Based Services".
  34. Validate the 'Actual Disposition' field contains "Level 2 - Low Intensity Community Based Services".
  35. Select "Level 4 - Medically Monitored Community Based Services" in the 'Actual Disposition' field.
  36. Validate the 'Reason for Variance' is now enabled and required.
  37. Enter the desired value in the 'Reason for Variance' field.
  38. Click [Submit] and [Yes] to run the assessment report.
  39. Validate a 'LOCUS Assessment Results' report is displayed with the updated data.
  40. Close the report.
  41. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL Reporting Tool.
  42. Refresh the report using the 'SYSTEM.cw_locus_assessment' SQL table.
  43. Validate a row is displayed for the assessment filed for "Client A".
  44. Validate the updated data displays as expected.
  45. Select "Client A" and access the 'LOCUS Data Entry and Calculation' form.
  46. Validate a Pre-Display is displayed with the assessment filed in the previous steps.
  47. Click [Delete].
  48. Validate a message is displayed stating: Are you sure you want to delete this item?
  49. Click [Yes].
  50. Select "Client A" and access the 'LOCUS Data Entry and Calculation' form.
  51. Validate the assessment that was deleted in the previous steps is no longer displayed.
  52. Close the form.
  53. Access Crystal Reports or other SQL Reporting Tool.

  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'LOCUS Data Entry and Calculation' form.

  3. Validate the 'LOCUS Rating Time' field contains the current time.
  4. Validate the 'Rater' field contains "Practitioner A".
  5. Select the desired value(s) in the '1. Minimal Risk of Harm' field.
  6. Validate the 'I. Risk of Harm' field contains "1".
  7. Select the desired value(s) in the '1. Minimal Impairment' field.
  8. Validate the 'II. Functional Status' field contains "1".

  32. Navigate to the "LOCUS REPORT" section.
  33. Validate the 'LOCUS Rating Date' field contains the current date.
