Dictionary Update - 'Problem Status' dictionary
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Dictionary Update (CWS)
Scenario 1: Dictionary Update - Validate the 'Problem Status' dictionary
Steps
  1. Access the 'Dictionary Update' CWS form.
  2. Select "CWS" in the 'File' field.
  3. Select "Data Element Number" in the 'Data Element' field.
  4. Enter "16214" in the 'Data Element' field.
  5. Select "(16214) Status" in the 'Data Element' field.
  6. Enter any existing value in the 'Dictionary Code' field.
  7. Validate the 'Dictionary Value' field is populated accordingly.
  8. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field now contains "ONC Clinical Status" and "ONC Verified Status".
  9. Select "(16254) ONC Clinical Status" in the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field.
  10. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field contains: "Active", "Inactive", "Recurrence", "Relapse", "Remission", and "Resolved".
  11. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
  12. Select "(16255) ONC Verified Status" in the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field.
  13. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field contains: "Confirmed", "Differential", "Entered in Error", "Provisional", "Refuted", and "Unconfirmed".
  14. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
  15. Click [Apply Changes].
  16. Validate a message is displayed stating: "Filed!".
  17. Click [OK].
  18. Select the "Print Dictionary" section.
  19. Select "CWS" in the 'File' field.
  20. Select "Individual Data Element" in the 'Individual or All Data Elements' field.
  21. Select "Data Element Number" in the 'Data Element' field.
  22. Enter "16214" in the 'Data Element' field.
  23. Select "(16214) Status" in the 'Data Element' field.
  24. Click [Print Dictionary].
  25. Validate the report contains the updated dictionary values entered in the previous steps.
  26. Close the report and the form.

  10. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field contains: "Active", "Inactive" and "Resolved".
  11. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
  12. Select "(13007) ONC Verified Status" in the 'Extended Dictionary Data Element' field.
  13. Validate the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field contains: "Confirmed", "Entered in Error", "Presumed", "Refuted", and "Unconfirmed".
  14. Select the desired value in the 'Extended Dictionary Value (Single Dictionary)' field.
