The following enhancements are added: 1) The 'Known Food Allergies' field is added to the NX 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' quick action. 2) The 'Last Entered' date label is added to the NX 'Quick Vitals' quick action.

'Quick Vitals' Quick Action
Scenario 1: Validate the 'Quick Vitals' quick action
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A)
  • 'Quick Vitals' Quick Action must be assigned to the user in the 'NX View Definition' form.
  • This is for Avatar NX systems only.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Client Dashboard'.
  2. Navigate to the 'Quick Vitals' quick action.
  3. Click [Quick Vitals - Add].
  4. Validate "Diastolic" is spelled correctly.
  5. Enter the desired value in the 'Systolic' field.
  6. Validate the 'Diastolic' and 'Position' fields are required.
  7. Populate the desired fields and click [Save].
  8. Validate the 'Quick Vitals' quick action contains "Vitals last entered: [current date and time]".
  9. Click [Quick Vitals - Add].
  10. Populate the desired fields and click [Save].
  11. Validate the 'Quick Vitals' quick action contains "Vitals last entered: [current date and time]".
  12. Click [Quick Vitals - Add].
  13. Populate the desired fields and click [Save].
  14. Validate the 'Quick Vitals' quick action contains "Vitals last entered: [current date and time]".
  15. Click [Close].
  16. Access the 'Vitals Entry' form.
  17. Select the 'Vitals Report' field.
  18. Click [Start Date Y].
  19. Click [Start Date T].
  20. Enter any value in the 'Start Time' field.
  21. Enter any value in the 'End Time' field.
  22. Select "All" in the 'Vital Sign(s) for Report' field.
  23. Click [View Report].
  24. Validate the report contains the entries filed in the previous steps.
  25. Click [Close Report].
  26. Close the form.

'Allergies / Hypersensitivities' Quick Action
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Quick Actions Page
  • Allergies and Hypersensitivities
Scenario 1: 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' quick action - File a Medication Allergy
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be admitted into an active episode who does not have any information filed in the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form. (Client A)
  • 'Allergies / Hypersensitivities' Quick Action must be assigned to the user's Client Dashboard in the 'NX View Definition' form.
  • The 'Require Reaction Severity' registry setting must be set to "N".
  • This is for Avatar NX systems.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and launch the 'Client Dashboard'.
  2. Navigate to the 'Quick Actions' widget.
  3. Click [Allergies / Hypersensitivities - Add].
  4. Validate the 'Known Food Allergies' field exists.
  5. Enter and select the desired medication in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field.
  6. Enter the desired date in the 'Date Recognized' field.
  7. Select "Confirmed" in the 'Status' field.
  8. Select "Yes" in the 'Known Medication Allergies' field.
  9. Select "No" in the 'Known Food Allergies' field.
  10. Click [Save].
  11. Validate the 'Allergies / Hypersensitivities' quick action displays the current date and time.
  12. Click [Allergies / Hypersensitivities - Add].
  13. Validate the 'Known Medication Allergies' field is disabled and "Yes" is selected.
  14. Validate the 'Known Food Allergies' field is enabled and "No" is selected.
  15. Enter and select the desired value in the 'Allergen/Reactant' field.
  16. Enter the desired date in the 'Date Recognized' field.
  17. Select "Confirmed" in the 'Status' field.
  18. Click [Save].
  19. Validate the 'Allergies / Hypersensitivities' quick action displays the current date and time.
  20. Close the Client Dashboard.
  21. Access the 'Allergies and Hypersensitivities' form.
  22. Click [Update].
  23. Validate the allergies entered in the previous steps display.
  24. Click [Close/Cancel].
  25. Validate the 'Known Medication Allergies' field is disabled and "Yes" is selected.
  26. Validate the 'Known Food Allergies' field is enabled and "No" is selected.
  27. Click [Submit].
