Product Update Form Description

The following changes to the 'Significant Findings' form are made: 1) An enhancement to display the 'Observation Abnormal Flag Value' in the details section for laboratory results. 2) An enhancement to auto select 'Yes' for the 'Critical Findings' field for both laboratory and microbiology results if a newly introduced extended attribute 'Critical Findings' is set to 'Yes' for the given 'Observation Abnormal Flag Code'. 3) An issue where the selection of a finding might result in an "[UNDEFINED]Findings+59^SignificantFindings *spmID" error is resolved. 4) An issue where the specimen collection times could incorrectly be displayed as "0000" is resolved. 5) An issue where the observation value of some findings are incorrectly displayed with '^' characters is resolved.

Significant Findings
The following changes to the 'Significant Findings' form are made:
1) An enhancement to display the 'Observation Abnormal Flag Value' in the details section for laboratory results.
2) An enhancement to auto select 'Yes' for the 'Critical Findings' field for both laboratory and microbiology results if a newly introduced extended attribute 'Critical Findings' is set to 'Yes' for the given 'Observation Abnormal Flag Code'.
Value Added: Significant Findings with abnormal results will automatically set the 'Critical Finding' field to "Yes"

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: OE NX - Significant Findings - Abnormal results - Lab
Specific Setup:
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Create a lab-type order.
  3. Access the 'Results Entry' form.
  4. Select "Add" from the 'Add/Edit/Delete Result' field.
  5. Select the lab-type order created, populate the required fields, and select "LAB" from the 'Diagnostic Service Code' field.
  6. Click [File Header Info] and select the 'Results Detail' section.
  7. Select "Add" from the 'Add/Edit/Delete Result Detail' field.
  8. Select the header just filed, populate the required fields, selecting an abnormal code from the 'Observation Abnormal Code' field, and click [File Detail Info].
  9. Access the 'Significant Findings' form for "Client A".
  10. Set the 'Significant Finding Date' field to the current date.
  11. Set the 'Significant Finding Time' to the current time.
  12. Select "Lab Result" from the 'Significant Finding Type' field.
  13. Select the result filed from the 'Findings' field.
  14. Validate the information displays correctly.
Scenario 2: OE NX - Significant Findings - Abnormal results - Micro
Specific Setup:
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  2. Create a lab-type order.
  3. Access the 'Results Entry' form.
  4. Select "Add" from the 'Add/Edit/Delete Result' field.
  5. Select the lab-type order created, populate the required fields, and select "Micro" from the 'Diagnostic Service Code' field.
  6. Click [File Header Info] and select the 'Results Detail' section.
  7. Select "Add" from the 'Add/Edit/Delete Result Detail' field.
  8. Select the header just filed, populate the required fields, selecting an abnormal code from the 'Observation Abnormal Code' field, and click [File Detail Info].
  9. Access the 'Significant Findings' form for "Client A".
  10. Set the 'Significant Finding Date' field to the current date.
  11. Set the 'Significant Finding Time' to the current time.
  12. Select "Micro Result" from the 'Significant Finding Type' field.
  13. Select the result filed from the 'Findings' field.
  14. Validate the information displays correctly.

Specific Setup:
  • A Lab result must be filed for any client (Client A)
Steps
  1. Open the 'Significant Findings' form for "Client A".
  2. Set the 'Significant Finding Date' field to the current date.
  3. Click [Current] for the 'Significant Finding Time' field.
  4. Select "Lab Result" from the 'Significant Finding Type' field.
  5. Validate the 'Date' and 'Time' for the entry are accurate.
  6. Select any result from the 'Findings' field.
  7. Validate the 'Finding Details' field contains data from the selected result.
  8. Click [Submit] and validate the form files successfully.
