'Account Registration' - Edit an existing account
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Account Registration
Scenario 1: Account Registration - Create New/Edit Existing Account
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • Dictionary values must be defined for the 'Type of Account' and 'Category of Account' dictionaries in the 'Client Funds Management File' dictionary file.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
  2. Select "Create New Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
  3. Enter the desired value in the 'Account Number' field.
  4. Enter the desired value in the 'Description of Account' field.
  5. Select the desired value in the 'Type of Account' field.
  6. Select the desired value in the 'Category of Account' field.
  7. Select the desired value in the 'Determining Medicaid Eligibility' field.
  8. Enter the desired value in the 'Account Start Date' field.
  9. Select the desired value in the 'Is This an Interest-Bearing Account (Y/N)' field.
  10. Enter the desired value in the 'Account Maximum Balance' field.
  11. Enter the desired value in the 'Transaction Posting Notification' field.
  12. Click [Submit].
  13. Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
  14. Select "Edit Existing Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
  15. Select the existing account in the 'Existing Account Number' field.
  16. Validate all previously populated values are displayed.
  17. Select any new value in the 'Type of Account' field.
  18. Click [Submit].
  19. Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
  20. Select "Edit Existing Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
  21. Select the existing account in the 'Existing Account Number' field.
  22. Validate the 'Type of Account' field contains the new value.
  23. Close the form.
