Avatar CFMS 2022 is Installed
Scenario 1: Validate Upgrading Avatar CFMS 2021 to 2022 is successful when 2021.00.00 is loaded
Specific Setup:
- Latest Monthly Release is installed.
Steps
- Open the "Product Updates" form.
- Select the appropriate [Namespace] from the Application dropdown list
- Click [Select Update/Customization Pack].
- Browse to the location for the updates and select the Update 1.
- Click [OK] on the "File Upload Complete" window.
- Click [Review Update/Customization Pack Contents].
- Verify Update 1 is included.
- Click [Install Update/Customization Pack].
- Click [OK] when the install completes.
- Click [Close Form].

'Account Registration' - Edit an existing account
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Account Registration
- Close Client Account
- Delete Closed Account
Scenario 1: Account Registration - Create New/Edit Existing Account
Specific Setup:
- A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
- Dictionary values must be defined for the 'Type of Account' and 'Category of Account' dictionaries in the 'Client Funds Management File' dictionary file.
Steps
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
- Select "Create New Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
- Enter the desired value in the 'Account Number' field.
- Enter the desired value in the 'Description of Account' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Type of Account' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Category of Account' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Determining Medicaid Eligibility' field.
- Enter the desired value in the 'Account Start Date' field.
- Select the desired value in the 'Is This an Interest-Bearing Account (Y/N)' field.
- Enter the desired value in the 'Account Maximum Balance' field.
- Enter the desired value in the 'Transaction Posting Notification' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
- Select "Edit Existing Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
- Select the existing account in the 'Existing Account Number' field.
- Validate all previously populated values are displayed.
- Select any new value in the 'Type of Account' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
- Select "Edit Existing Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
- Select the existing account in the 'Existing Account Number' field.
- Validate the 'Type of Account' field contains the new value.
- Close the form.

Specific Setup:
- The 'Set Banking System Defaults' form must be populated with "Yes" selected in the 'Password Restriction for Type Of Account' field.
- Must be logged in as a user that is a system administrator.
- A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
- Dictionary values must be defined for the 'Type of Account' dictionary in the 'Client Funds Management File' dictionary file (Type A, Type B).
Steps
- Access the 'Type of Account Password Maintenance' form.
- Click [Select Existing Username].
- Validate the 'Username' field contains all defined users.
- Select the current user in the 'Username' field and click [OK].
- Validate a message is displayed stating: Warning - you are about to modify your current password. Continue?
- Click [Yes].
- Validate the 'Type of Account' field contains "Type A" and "Type B".
- Select "Type A" in the 'Type of Account' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
- Select "Create New Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
- Validate the 'Type of Account' field contains only "Type A".
- Close the form.
- Access the 'Type of Account Password Maintenance' form.
- Click [Select Existing Username].
- Validate the 'Username' field contains all defined users.
- Select the current user in the 'Username' field and click [OK].
- Validate a message is displayed stating: Warning - you are about to modify your current password. Continue?
- Click [Yes].
- Select "Type A" and "Type B" in the 'Type of Account' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Select "Client A" and access the 'Account Registration' form.
- Select "Create New Account" in the 'Create New or Edit Existing Account' field.
- Validate the 'Type of Account' field contains both "Type A" and "Type B".
- Close the form.

CFMS 'Enter Interest Amount For Daily Posting' form is modified to disallow future dates.
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: Enter Interest Amount For Daily Posting - validate fields
Specific Setup:
- 'Enter Interest Posting Method' option must be set to 'Daily (Compound) Interest'.
Steps
- Open the 'Enter Interest For Daily Posting' form.
- Set the 'Through Date' field to a future date.
- Ensure the message 'No Future Dates Allowed' displays.
- Click [OK] on the message.
- Set the 'Through Date' field to a past date (note the date must be the last day of the month).
- Set the 'Interest Amount' field to any dollar value.
- Click [Submit]. The form will close.
- Open Crystal Reports or any SQL reporting tool.
- Create a report against SYSTEM.cf_interest_daily_posting_amount table.
- Include 'month_year'
- Include 'monthly_interest_amount'
- Run the report.
- Verify the 'month_year' field is populated correctly.
- Verify the 'monthly_interest_amount' is populated correctly.
- Close the report.
