Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • CareFabric Monitor
  • User Definition
Scenario 1: Validate the 'StaffMemberUpdated' SDK event when 'Default Supervisor' is defined
Specific Setup:
  • Two users are defined with associated staff members (User A & User B).
Steps
  1. Access the 'User Definition' form.
  2. Select "User A" in the 'Select User' field.
  3. Select the "Document Routing" section.
  4. Select "Yes" in the 'Supervisor Approval Required for Documents' field.
  5. Select "User B" in the 'Default Supervisor' field.
  6. Submit the form.
  7. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  8. Enter the current date in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  9. Select "StaffMemberUpdated" in the 'Event/Action Search' field.
  10. Click [View Activity Log].
  11. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' is displayed and contains a "StaffMemberUpdated" record.
  12. Click [Click to View Record].
  13. Validate the 'supervisorStaffMemberID' - 'humanReadableValue' field contains the name of the staff member associated to "User B".
  14. Validate the 'supervisorStaffMemberID' - 'id' field contains the ID of the staff member associated to "User B".
  15. Close the report and the form.
  16. Access the 'User Definition' form.
  17. Select "User A" in the 'Select User' field.
  18. Select the "Document Routing" section.
  19. Remove the value in the 'Default Supervisor' field.
  20. Submit the form.
  21. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  22. Enter the current date in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  23. Select "StaffMemberUpdated" in the 'Event/Action Search' field.
  24. Click [View Activity Log].
  25. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' is displayed and contains a "StaffMemberUpdated" record.
  26. Click [Click to View Record].
  27. Validate the 'supervisors' field does not contain any value.
  28. Close the report and the form.
