Specific Setup:
  • The 'Avatar CareFabric->ProviderConnect Enterprise->Contracting Providers->->->Enable External Connections' must be set to "Y".
  • The 'Managing Organization Definition' form must be defined for a valid managing organization.
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode and be mapped to the defined managing organization in the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Identifiers' section of the 'Admission' form (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Update Client Data' form.
  2. Update any desired fields.
  3. Click [Submit].
  4. Access the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Action Log'.
  5. Enter the desired dates in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  6. Enter the desired times in the 'From Time' and 'Through Time' fields.
  7. Select the desired organization in the 'Managing Organization' field.
  8. Select "PutClient" in the 'Action Name' field.
  9. Click [View Action Log].
  10. Validate the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Action Log' Report is displayed.

  • The 'RADplus->Chart->Chart View->->->Populate Chart Header with Currently Selected Episode' registry setting must be set to "Y".
  • Please log out of the application and log back in after completing the above configuration.
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)

  • A progress notes form is configured and selected in the "Bells Notes" section of the 'CarePOV Management' form. Please note: this must be done by a Netsmart Associate. (Form A)
  • "Form A" does not have document routing enabled and has fields added via 'Site Specific Section Modeling'. The same fields must exist in Bells Notes.
  • "Form A" must be accessible via the Chart View.
  • A user is defined with the following (User A):
  • Access to Bells Notes
  • Associated practitioner
  • Access to the 'My To Do's' widget.
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Log into Bells Notes with existing login credentials for "User A".
  2. Search for "Client A".
  3. Click [Start Note] and verify the existence of the 'Session Information' window.

Bells Notes Integration - Progress Notes
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • TO DO'S
  • Document Routing Setup (PM)
  • HomeView - My To Do's widget
Scenario 1: To Do approval for Progress Note form with Document Routing
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be admitted to an active episode (Client A).
  • Have a progress note form enabled for document routing
  • UserA is staff member and has the "My To do's" widget on their 'myDay' view
Steps
  1. Select Client A and access the 'Progress Notes (Group and Individual)' form.
  2. Select any value from the 'Select Episode' field.
  3. Select any value from the 'Progress Note For' field.
  4. Select any value from the 'Note Type' field.
  5. Complete the remaining required fields.
  6. Select 'Final' from the 'Draft/Final' field.
  7. Click [Submit Note].
  8. Click [Sign and Route]
  9. Set the 'Password' field to the password of the logged in user.
  10. Click [Verify].
  11. Set the 'Supervisor' field to any value (for testing add the practitioner associated to the current logged in user) to route to yourself.
  12. Click [Add] and [Submit].
  13. Access the 'My To Do's' widget.
  14. In the 'Documents to Sign' section, select the newly created 'To Do' for Client A.
  15. Click [Review].
  16. Validate that the 'Sign' button remains disabled until the 'Document Preview' displays the document.
  17. Once enabled, click [Accept] and [Sign].
  18. Set the 'Password' field to the password of the logged in user.
  19. Click [Verify].
  20. Validate that the 'To Do' is removed from the 'My To Do's' list ('Documents to Sign') section.
Scenario 2: Bells Notes Integration - Accept a note via the "Sign" section of the 'My To Do's' widget

  • Must be logged in as this user
  • Document Routing is enabled for the 'Additional Progress Note Information (CWS21015)' form in 'Document Routing Setup'. A supervisor is NOT required.
  • A Progress Notes form is configured and selected in the "Bells Notes" section of the 'CarePOV Management' form. Please note: this must be done by a Netsmart Associate.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  2. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' and click [Add Appointment].
  3. Enter the desired service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  4. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  5. Select the desired value in the 'Episode Number' field.
  6. Validate the 'Practitioner' field is populated with "Practitioner A"
  7. Fill out all required fields.
  8. Click [Submit].
  9. Validate successful submission.
  10. Validate the scheduled appointment is added to the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  11. Log into Bells Notes with existing login credentials.
  12. Click the "Agenda" section and verify the existence of the scheduled appointment from the 'Scheduling Calendar' form in myAvatar.
